The perils of coloring
Posted 15 years agoI've noticed I've been getting a lot of comments on the art I colored as if I drew the lineart and came up with the original idea. Particularly with that pollination comic.
Really guys. I just added all the pretty colors. Everything else was another person's doing.
There's a bunch of stuff I did draw, but you'd thinking having "coloring Karno's comic" in the title is a big giveaway.

Inking
Posted 15 years agoI got my first tattoo this weekend.
Not a very big one, but I feel so happy! Wasn't nearly as painful as I feared. Before he started I asked how painful it was going to be and was told it would be like getting a cat scratch and a sunburn. And you know, that's EXACTLY what it felt like.
Only, with a cat claw methodically scratching along the surface of your skin. Moving slowly as it pokes into the surface of skin, tracing along the pattern edges. More annoying than painful really. Even afterwards it was like a sunburn, just a warm feeling that hangs on for a day. You're only reminded of the pain there when something bangs against the tat.

*shrugs* Never really thought about it that much.

Not really. Used to do the whole give little cartoon cards when I was in grade school. But now its not really a holiday made for much except giving couples an excuse to get all lovey dovey or pissed off at each other for forgetting.
8. Have you ever had a secret admirer?
If I knew it wouldn't be a well kept secret now would it?
9. Would you ever write someone a love letter?
Uhhh....
10. Do you believe in Cupid?
About as much as I believe in Santa.
11. Do your parents give you presents on Valentines?
Why would they?
12. Do you still send out Valentines cards?
Really, its not THAT big a deal.
13. Do you like candy hearts?
Good cheap desk candy jar fodder.
14. Flowers or chocolate?
This question sounds familiar.
15. Is Valentines day depressing?
I think its sweet.
16. How do you feel about PDA?
I assume you mean public displays of affection. Depends how far it goes. A kiss and a hug makes me go 'Aw...' When it goes into the realm of tongues sliding down throats and hands groping it turns into 'Get a room guys.'
17. How is your love life?
Not the most active, but then I'm not really trying too hard to get in the dating scene.
18. Have you ever been dumped on Valentines?
Fortunately, no.
19. How many roses would you want?
Depends. If its given while going out somewhere a single rose of good quality works nicely. But being delivered to the home or office it's best to have a decent sized bouquet.
20. Will you have a boyfriend/girlfriend next year?
So I'm supposed to know the future?

Basically showing Celeste visiting someone in the night. Thing is, that someone could be just about anyone. So why not? Consider this an open call for vict-er.....volunteers.
Anyone interested in having a busty Mare sneak into their characters bedroom at night?

Introduction!
Posted 16 years agoWell, now that I have a few watchers, I may as well explain a bit about myself.
Firstly, Chiri is not depicting me or a fursona or anything in particular. She's a character, linked closely with some of my own preferences, but a character nonetheless. This will cause some confusion since I have the username as Chiri.....but I haven't come up with a better personal name yet. So that's that.
Secondly, don't expect much detailed stuff about RL. This account is all about the aliasing, which is good in some ways. Gives me freedom I might not normally give myself. Granted, may take a while to get out of the restrictive mindset of being PG friendly.
I like imagining scenarios. Characters, worlds, all interacting and influencing each other. Just people meeting up and events.....happening. Right now still in character development, and Chiri is the first.
So far 3 characters are in the gallery, so I'll introduce them.
Chiri Sunese
A petite Chipmunk lass. Currently holding down a boring retail job as one of many cashiers in MostMart. An intelligent young woman, but very repressed sexually, at least in public. In private, that mind of hers works with a very active imagination.
Celeste Cauchemar
Grey mare with blue eyes. She dyes her hair and hooves red to reflect on her personality and make her stand out better for her work. What work? Well, there's two jobs this mare is holding down. The first officially doesn't exist, and the second...well the second is rather dubious in it's legality.
Brandon Ruhe
Dark grey stallion with a black mane and tail. While being a healthy individual, no one has ever heard him say a word. Not even Celeste, and he's her devoted boy toy! Currently unemployed, even though he considers taking care of Celeste a full time job of it's own.
Well, that's it for now. More happens when it happens.
