Posted 13 years agoGrandpa L.D. passed away a couple nights ago, so I've been scarce yet again.
I'm trying to focus, but all that I can manage to work on is Candi Shoppe. It gives me some sort of piece of mind.
I'll be trying to work my way through commissions I owe in the next week or two.

found a friendly stray that has a massive issue with its tail.
It looks as if the tail got burned and then infected really bad. It need to be amputated, but Kai can't afford it, so she's asking for some help!

So I will admit I haven't gotten anything done since I got my job xP
But, Sunday and Mondays are my guaranteed days off, so I officially declare those days commission days x.x
Eventually I'll learn how to manage my time better so I can do more projects.
Right now, I'm working on getting commissions and badges done, as well as getting multiple things ready for CFT (assuming I can get the time off for it ;A; )
These things include prints/originals, stickers, bookmarks, possibly keychains, and maybe a sneak peak at the Candy Shoppe project I'm working on!
We'll see.
Another thing.
I will my initiating new pickiness on what I will draw for commissions.
One thing is something I'm a little weary on announcing because I know people here >:I
Anyway, hopefully you'll be seeing some actual art updates from me in the next few days x.x

I got a job! Finally!
I will be serving food at a retirement home.
It's more like working at a restaraunt :3
But, yes, I am excited that I finally found a job :3
I'm working 20 hours a week, so there will be plenty of time for art :3

I'm slowly getting commissions I still owe done. I've got three to finish.
As well as badge trades.
I mostly need money to register for CFT with ;v;
And to help pay a little more rent than I am currently able to *sigh*
I've got $120 for rent. I'd like to be able to give at least $200, which is $50 less than my actual share.
And CFT is a little more pricey this year.
So, I'm opening for some badge slots right now, instead of full commissions (supply limitations grrr)
For now, I'll take just five :3
I'm asking $15 each. This includes lamination and a clip (+$5 for shipping if you're not attending CFT).

Posted 13 years agoI haven't been tons of active because things are going by pretty quick..
The job at 711 fell through. They kept dragging me along when it came to actually putting me on pay roll, so I gave up.
So, I'm back on the horse again with finding a job. I'm still doing child care for my mom for next to nothing, but it is something until I get a job.
Until then, I'll be trying to do my best on commissions, but they may be put on hold again. I'm barely finding time to draw for myself.
My new roommates are really pressuring me to find a job instead of work on art, so I am sorry in advance for the lack of work getting done.
Good news is, there are a few places that seem genuinely interested, so hopefully I'll get one soon.
As far as living situation goes:
Our close friend 
has moved out of the apartment and is in Eugene (he left yesterday *sniffle*).
So, 
and I are moving in to replace him in the apartment with
So I have a permanent home now instead of a mattress in a living room ;O;
We'll be getting all of our stuff back gradually from the old apartment (yay my stuff!) and slowly settling in.
So, lots of stuff happening for me right now. As soon as things begin to settle down, I'll get back to work on commissions.
