A valentine's questionare
Posted 12 years ago1: Do you have a crush at the moment?
I do not presently
2: Have you ever been deeply in love?
I have never fallen in love, although I have stepped in it a few times
3: Longest relationship you've ever been in?
I would say it was a year and 1 month
4: Have you ever changed for someone?
I did and and later regretted it. you should always be yourself first and foremost
5: How is your relationship with your ex?
I speak to her on occasion
6: Have you ever been cheated on?
I have once and it is not an experience I would wish on another
7: Have you ever cheated?
no
8: Would you date someone who's well known for cheating?
this question should not merit a response. No
9: What's the most important part of a relationship?
I would say trust is the cornerstone of any relationship. Intimate or otherwise then would follow communication
10: Do you like to be in serious relationships or just flings?
being serious is no fun (bad word choice for a relationship name) but yes I would prefer a serious relationship
11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on "breaks"?
I believe that there is a reason you broke up with someone and if you are going on "breaks" that is not conducive to either you or your significant other

if this is referring to sex, then I will say none
13: What's one thing you regret saying/doing in a previous relationship?

kids should not have sex. Sex is a unifying action that takes place on multiple levels beyond just physical this is not to be taken lightly and a kid does not hold enough maturity to understand or handle that level of connection
15: Do you believe in the phrase "age is just a number"?
No I do not. Couples can have a relatively large age gap but I feel 17 with someone close to 23 is pushing it if acceptable

I believe lust would be functioning word in that phrase because at first sight you would be on a physical level. Love can grow from the initial meeting but not at first sight

20: Are you currently in a relationship?
I am not
21: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends?

22: Do you think people should date their friends?
they certainly can and I see no immediate reason why not
23: How many relationships have you had?
not quite so many that I cannot count them

I know that it does. Ahavat Olam (Unconditional Love in Hebrew)

Yes :D

not really no.. there was a time in my early youth that I was
54: How important is it to make a relationship official (p.e. on facebook)?
HA that is not worth the time it takes to post Life exists beyond facebook
55: Would you consider yourself "clingy", "overly attached" or "jealous"?

Posted 12 years agoI forgive my inactivity as of late. It would seem that my poetic drive has dwindled to a blueish ember. and the Muse has not taken alight on my mind in some time. I shall try in earnest to conjure up a phrase that can captivate and allure my watchers soon. for now the sound of silence is all I can give in my absence and while it is nothing but your mind echoing to its own vessel. I imagine silence to be a conk shell held to ones ear. if you listen closely the ocean in your soul shall koo into your ear and shine wonders upon your sight.

Hear This!
Posted 12 years agoI have been browsing FA's music section and ran across this man who has indeed grasped the concept of what music should be. Please check out
on his page and listen to some of his truly vivid and inspiring music.
when I hear it I find that while looking through the ethereal conception that is described as art, I find a sliver of myself reflecting back, if only for a second. This music is not fleeting it holds the ever writhing imagination still for a moment.
I may bring written form to visual art on my FA page, but Fraeven doesn't just describe art he transcribes it.

stifling
Posted 12 years agoI have arrived in a mood that can only be described as stifling...I seem to be at the point of my mental peak that from here I might fall if only to endanger a feeling of stultification.
For I am sitting. and thinking. I have at least 3 projects that I wish to do yet I cannot find the means to accomplish a single one for I do not maintain what is to be required. I sit useless as if quills were stamped into the mud. my arms are tendrils of a scarf blowing uselessly in the current from the heater vents. I need to create or I may just liquefy, except I fear it would evaporate and further Emeute this conviction to others that draw near.
so should you have distraction from a beast in mental contraction feel free to extend a paw or hand and usher myself towards conversation

Muse
Posted 12 years agowhat of the muse of her wings that unfurl. How does she walk when the sky she can hail
I am chained to this creature for better or the latter. for she holds keys to my soul and each lock can just dismember. this beast of beauty can sometimes perch my emotions. For her secrets imbue on my mind after that, the heart. with just a whisper, with a start, I find reeling in my mind that there is feeling. and knowledge is kept in my heart. the muse does strike with a dagger from sheath. Yet. its wounds shed not blood and flesh not torn from each sweep. I am lashed to the cliffs of sanity's ocean. where the muse does too sore after walking across my sight laid molten. For I am inspired by this esper of deities. once this task has been lade by the hands of she. I find my own cannot stop scribbling, stained in ink. so should your eyes spy me. If I were in this state, you would know for my language would lay skewed proper, or a curious state. please let me scrawl across hidden doors. for its whats beneath the husks of many that the Muse implores. and I a Harbinger to art and its feat. will scrawl on my fur if paper is does fleet. My task to transpose so the blind can read the painting, and for the deaf to hold tune to melodic pattern in shades of medium.
I, just the Nymph
stepping out through the tree
to reveal to those planted
on earthly heels
I seek to tether
whats real to whats not.
with Quill in hand
I relay my whispering commands
So I just bid you to know
that its is not just art for art's sake that this world exists

The traditional definition of a Gentleman
Posted 12 years agothis has been on my mind and I feel that most people do not understand the true intention of the phrase gentleman..(original reference of noble birth aside):
Being a gentleman is the ability to be calm and collected (holding restraint). Most anyone can perform feats of aggression or be forceful a gentleman has the ability of restraint. imagine picking up a butterfly how would you go about it? if you grab it's wings then you will render it incapable of flight if you pluck at the body you may kill it. To be a gentleman one must be the hand calmly enveloping that butterfly. That is not to be confused with Pacifism. Just because a gentleman may not be aggressive it does not mean he is weak.Your connections and life is this butterfly. One of the fastest ways to see a gentleman's ability to perform under restraint would be to crush that butterfly. Although I would not consider that wise because power lays in knowing when to let be and when to fight.

fursona's
Posted 12 years agoI have been thinking a lot about a fursona as of late, I am still warming up to the idea truthfully but I love the concept.
I have finally decided on a name for such a creature Max was too generic ( no offense to those who enjoy that name) its not in my taste so I feel that Nymph suits him better...as far as last names go I am still working on it
something came to mind the other day that caused me to set this name. I have this whole time been writing prose out of imagery. Nymphs spend their lives walking between the earthly realms and the spirit so why would my purple fox not be able to walk between art and prose. of course this is the early imaginings.
if you have any ideas as far as where I should go from here my ears are forward and intently listening.
thank you to those that have been helping me along the way in this

In that window, that pane of glass
I see your soul and what it hides
When others ask you show them mirrors
I know through our time
Your pane is much clearer
The light inside has faded and grayed
In that window, that pane of glass
I Hide my heart in a comic book
You find it strange but it is there
My secret is held by my sustaining air
No one can see when they look at me
That its a kid with bed sheet cape
In that window, that pane of glass
You hold a world all wrapped in shine
The cars they prowl, the people they awe
But way out here I just scream and shout
My day a remnant, yet yours is new
I lay loyal pieces, while your crystal is skewed
In that window, that pane of glass
I hold your future, it is my past
