Too many complications with finances between me and :( On a lighter note however, we will most likely be attending FWA in March. ^^ That'll give us a lot more time to get money together and hopefully we'll make it to MFF next year.

Life Update
Posted 14 years agoHi all!!!! Lots has gne on since my last journal post. Kai and I are finally getting a break from traveling and setteling in to our new apartment in Nashua NH. *is typing this on his fancy ipad that likes to turn my "a"s to "s"s >.<* we just returned home from 
fyrdawg's Fur-BQ and it was a blast. Fortunatly or unfortunatly, we missed the incident involving one "Tumbles the Gokart Fox" *chuckles* where Rigby Dingo rolled Fyre's gokart and broke his arm. Everyonebshould go to one of his many FA pages and say hi. He broke it pretty bad and will be in the hospital for a couple days.
School starts for me on the first of the month. I'm really excited for class to start. This semester i'm taking Photo 2, Drawing 1, Form and Content, and Advanced Web Design. I'm a little intimidated by Drawing 1... I've never been very good at drawing and I tend to discourage myself. We'll see what happens though. Photo is going to be awesome. I'm also interning with my photo professor this semester. We're going to be doing a photo documentary of the Senior Hause Dormitory. The dorm walls are covered from floor to ceiling with artwork from the residents. Its constantly changing and always cool. To give you an example: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/5611711 That is just one (and my favorite) of the hundreds of murals. Should be an interesting task. ^^
So for now Kai and i will be chilling around Nashua for a while. We're both kinda straped for cash after all of our adventures and I just got a job at Express so i'm having a bit of a lull between paychecks. Up next on the adgenda is FurFright!!! And then MFF after that. I can't wait to see chicago from somewhere other than inside a plane or the Midway airport. XP
Also! I'm doing my professor's Website. Its almost done, screenshots soon to come. I did this professionally and for pay, if anyone has any interest in commissioning me for a website I can be very reasonable with pricing. ^^ Note me if interested.

Posted 14 years agoIn less than 24 hours, I will be in Arizona and I'll get to see my sweet wolf again after five months of being apart! To say I'm excited is an understatement. *bouncebouncebounce* I miss him so much and we've waited sooo long while he's been away at training. He's worked so hard and I'm so proud of him. I'm glad I got to be the one who's waited for him all this time, and I've been doing my best to keep things on the civilian side of his life in order. Now he's going to come home and we get to really start our life together. ^^
I've just about finished up unpacking all of our things at our new place in Nashua NH. We're sharing a three bedroom apartment with ark-adustus and gel. ^^
So I'm flying out tomorrow, We're going to be spending four days in Arizona, then he's flying to Maryland and I'm flying home on Saturday night. He'll be spending the week in Maryland and serving with his unit the following weekend. At that point I'm driving down Friday of next week to stay with him and see some people in MD such as
joshjtwist91 and 
xcaezarx. =3 Then I'm finally bringing Kai home to Nashua where we'll finally get everything settled in at home. Then we're off to Maine the following weekend to visit with friends 
and our families. :)
After all that has been completed, we'll most likely be found hanging around Nashua with our roomies and friends, just in time for school to start ^^

Posted 14 years agoSo today is July 4th, 2011 and it marks one more year of being the nation of the United States of America. We've been free for these 235 years thanks to those of us who have devoted their lives to fighting those who would take our freedom. I'm writing this journal to bring special attention to two of those people. First and foremost, my love, kaimitsuki who has exactly one month left of his AIT training at Ft. Huachucha Arizona. He's in the Army Reserves. Secondly, 
acefox27 has just deployed to Bahrain with the U.S. Navy. These two deserve our thanks for serving in our armed forces so that all of us don't have to.
Every day I miss my love terribly, but as much as I miss him I'm proud of him. Having been by his side through his training I've gotten to see just want it means to be a soldier and now I'm doubly grateful that I don't have to do it too. X3 It takes an iron will, strength beyond measure, and a real dedication to yourself, those you care about, and the country we all live in to make it through and come out the other side.
Today we should all go to their userpages and shout on their pages sending our best wishes, hugs, and what have you. Even if you don't know them, they'd both love to know that we all are thinking of them and appreciate the job they're doing to keep us safe and free.
