I've been seeing a demand for seeing how River came to be a giantess and the face-off between her and Gargantua. I'd happily oblige, but I only just started the FIRST chapter of RAZE, "The Masked Maelstrom", and the "Queen" River arc doesn't happen for a good while into the story.

On the other hand, "The Masked Maelstrom" has hit a roadblock in writing and rendering, and I suppose there's no major foul in jumping around in writing subsequent chapters. On the other other hand, continuity is a good thing and avoids lots of confusion.

So, that's where I stand at this moment in time. Can you wait for what may be years for me to draw this blasted comic? Or do you want me to just skip to the juicy parts?

If you've been paying attention, you will have noticed I've been on a RAZE kick, my magnum opus inspired by Trigun and other bits and pieces. And if you haven't been paying attention... *CLAP!* *CLAP!* OI!

Anyway, I have finally written a synopsis and summary of a story I can be proud of. All that remains is to translate what I've written into either a written or visual format. Since I am a visual storyteller, I am going to try and adapt this to a graphic novel or manga. I could be the next Todd MacFarlane (the creator of the comic SPAWN, and not to be confused with Seth MacFarlane, the creator of FAMILY GUY) ...in about ten years' time if I'm lucky.

This leaves the elephant in the room - WANNA BE THE BIGGEST IN THE WORLD, my other side project.

In all fairness, I should give this one love too. But...it's about fat fur wrestlers. I'm not dissing fat fur wrestling, far from it. It just...lacks challenge, I guess is what I'm trying to say? I mean, RAZE was juicy in its challenge; how to make Trigun NOT Trigun? WANNA BE though? It's wrestling. Those stories write themselves. Triangle Man hates Particle Man. They have a fight. Triangle wins. The End. Obviously, there's more to WANNA BE. It's Yurika facing challenges, rising up, climbing that ladder to the top, and ultimately SPOILERS! facing her best friend Kuki for the championship she worked so hard to achieve and retain.

So, yeah, that's my mindset. My bigger challenge is complete. I should continue to capitalize on momentum. But then again, I can also start fresh, sit down, and write WANNA BE. I live to create. It's what I do. If I have nothing to create, my life is like a pencil without lead - Pointless.

A user who claims to be a "friend" has been coming to me requesting I draw Judy Hopps. A lot. Not only that, he wants me to draw in the vein of Sparco (i.e. bottom heavy shortstack).

This confuses me.

Why not pester Sparco to draw her, since that's clearly what he wants to see?

I put off listening to "Now and Then", the final Beatles record, for a while because I was absolutely afraid it would be the most bittersweet song I'd ever hear. Well, I finally did. And you know what? I WAS RIGHT!

It's a simple song, but it hits hard to hear John's voice recreated through AI tech, and after all who knows how he would sound if he were alive today? Throw in George's guitar, it's like a double dose of "The Ghost Song" by the Doors. Just haunting but undeniably beautiful.

The fact the single closes with a remix of "Love Me Do", the song that started it all just brings it all full circle.

Bottom line, if you love the Beatles, you need to hear it. But if you're a Beatles fan, chances are you already have.~
