Gettin' married

BNG hyper keyword system
Posted 13 years agoThis journal is intended to define a standard for using
bng's Scale of Sexual Size Fetish Magnitudes to add keywords describing the hyper content in terms of type and size, to submissions to FurAffinity. As with the original BNG scale, this system is not designed to describe every possible increment of size within hyper content, but instead to provide an approximate framework for broadly describing the size within.
However, as this uses the FurAffinity keyword search system, it is critical that all submissions labeled using this method have identical formatting to the keywords.
The format proposed is thus:
BNG_[type of hyper]_[number from one through five, written in full, not 1-5]
Please note the underscores, these are necessary to have it be one, complete keyword rather than multiple keywords. (I am unsure whether rendering the numbers as words or individual digits is better. Digits is easier, but less visually distinctive. Currently I'm leaning toward writing them out as words but I am curious peoples thoughts on this point.)
The scale does not go above five. Five denotes the size of five and up. See the original BNG scale for amplification on this point.
If there are multiple types of hyper, use the appropriate keyword for each. If there are multiple sizes of the same type of hyper present, use multiple versions of the same keyword, e.g. 'BNG_breasts_one BNG_breasts_two'.
Some modification of the labels on BNG's original scale are necessary for clarity, and additional terms are needed since keywords must be precisely worded. Following is a list of terms thus far defined by this standard. All examples are size 'one'.
This list is not complete. If a specific type of hyper is missing, please bring it to my attention so it can be defined in this standard. I know I didn't get even close to listing every possible type of hyper.
BNG_male_one [This denotes hyper male genitalia]
BNG_female_one [This denotes hyper female genitalia. This does NOT refer to breasts.]
BNG_balls_one [This denotes hyper testicles and scrotum. This is a subset of BNG_male_one intended for when the balls are hyper and the shaft is not]
BNG_breasts_one
BNG_macro_one
BNG_micro_one
BNG_muscle_one
BNG_fat_one
BNG_preg_one [Preg is short for pregnant. This refers only to the pregnant belly. Breasts, etc, should be referred to by their individual keyword]
Optional appendices:
You are encouraged to continue to mark hyper submissions with the appropriate generic keywords, (eg, 'hyper', 'hypercock', etc), in addition to the keywords defined in this scale, so viewers unfamiliar with this scale can still search for them.
I request that users of this system grant me two favors, as well.
Favor to me #1: Please mark submissions using this system with the keyword 'BNG_hyper' in addition to whatever other keywords you use. This is so I, and anyone else interested, can do a search for ALL submissions with a single search.
Favor to me #2: Please include a link to this journal in the description of submissions marked in accordance with this standard. This system's usefulness is limited by how widely used and understood it is.
That covers it. Please let me know what you think and if you use this. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Be sure to go give BNG props for creating that awesome scale.
Uploading spree!
Posted 13 years agoSo...yeah, I have quite a few commissions I should probably get around to uploading. As always, this is one part 'vague personal guideline to let the artist get all the views/favs for a while before I repost it to my own account' to about seven parts 'I am also extremely lazy when it comes to posting commissions'.
Stay tuned!
Edit: Oh, I've decided to try something new. I am a tremendous fan of things like
bng's Scale of Sexual Size Fetish Magnitudes. Some of my images have content that edges into the lower end of 'hyper', and in thinking about what keywords are appropriate, I had an idea.
I doubt it will catch on, but the idea is to have a standard format to describe the contents in terms of hyper-scale, in the keywords of a submission.
The format I have in mind is, say, for my images wherein a slightly hyper set of male genitals is depicted, would be 'BNG_male_one', BNG for the scale, 'male' as in male genitalia (the original scale uses just plain 'hyper' for both hyper-male-genitalia and hyper-breasts, so I decided to modify it a bit), and 'one' for the level on the scale depicted in the image. The underscores are to have it be all one keyword.
Examples:
BNG_breasts_three
BNG_micro_two
BNG_muscle_five
Five denotes five and up, you don't need to put five+ or fiveplus, or something, and numbers higher than five are not encouraged. Since anyone else using this is almost certainly going to be getting the idea from this journal, please let me know if you use it or think it's a good idea, and if you use it for something not on the BNG scale, (IE BNG_female_# for hyper female genitals or BNG_balls_# for, well, hyper balls), send me a note or comment, so a standard keyword for that aspect can be set.
I don't know, proooobably this will never get used by anyone but me, but I like it so I'm going to use it. Let me know what you think!

Maternity Clothing
Posted 17 years agoMy friend Deko and I, were recently discussing maternity clothing stores. Given our interests, obviously running one would be potentially very enjoyable, and a hypothetical discussion is almost as good. Being a specialty type of clothing, the market is fairly small, and too small a population wouldn't economically support one. We were trying to figure out if the town I live in is large enough to support such a store. This is difficult because of how many assumptions you have to use. The expenses of running such a store. The profit margin on maternity clothing. The birth rate we had to work with is the national average. What large a portion of the local population of pregnant ladies will shop at your store, rather than the internet, catalogs, and other maternity clothing stores in the nearest major city? How much do pregnant women spend, on average, on maternity clothing over the course of their pregnancy?
The last one, I might actually be able to find out more about, hence this journal. I'm most interested in hearing from women who've had pregnancies, and those who've had a direct connection to those women (husbands, boyfriends, etc.), then just anyone in general. People with a fetish for pregnancy, I still want to hear from you but your answers come about dead last in usefulness, regrettably. Please mention which group you fall into. So, basically, what I want to know:
How did you/they perceive your/their pregnancy, in terms of appearance? How did your/their clothes shopping habits change? Did you/they buy lots of maternity clothes, or as little as necessary? More clothes than they usually buy? Less? The same?
Geez, I sound like a marketing researcher. Heh, I guess I sort of am, even though I'm not selling anything.

Fireflies!
Posted 17 years agoSo, I felt like announcing it somewhere, so here it is, to all two and half average visitors to this page per week.
So, I was looking outside. I saw a firefly. I kept looking for it, trying to find it each time it glowed...I saw about fifty fireflies in the space of a minute. Neat!
