I’ve been experimenting with my style and studying artists in my spare time, and I think I’ve settled on a style I’m happy with! The only issue is that is takes forever…

Any tips to making art faster? I’m on hour 18 and not even close to finishing this new piece.

I want to focus on quality over quantity, especially if I open commissions in December like i’d like to, but I work WAY too slowly for that to be a possibility right now. Probably doesn’t help that I was in an artistic slump up until now, but at least I’m enjoying the process of making again! ^_^

I recently secured a paid internship! Woohoo!

However, between that, my part time job, and my upcoming summer class, I’ll likely be MIA for about three-ish months. Then I go full time with school and my part time job, so I might be busy till winter break…regular commissions will be closing on the 19th, but I might run some small YCHs in the meantime for some extra income.

If you’re interested in commissioning me before the fall, now’s the time! I have commission information listed under my Commission tab, and my notes are always open for questions/comments/concerns.

From the title I’m sure you can guess what this update is about: my wrist’s feeling better! I feel fine enough to draw now, but I’m in a HUGE art block right now and nothing I’m making seems to look right. I’ll be advertising my artistic liberty commissions as my fall semester is starting at the end of the month and I’m gonna need some extra income to pay fees + parking pass… in the meantime, I’m hoping to start work on a new Halloween/fall YCH! Keep an eye out ;3

Artfight and a recent commission + other non art reasons have completely destroyed my right wrist, It's been a while since I've drawn this much in a short amount of time. I've never had to do wrist exercises or take precautions against wrist pain, but I think now may be the time to start... I'll be taking a (hopefully small) break from drawing till my wrist starts feeling better.

In the meantime, my adopt folder is open and I need to clear out some characters, so keep an eye out for that if you've ever been interested in an adopt of mine! :D

I’ve been thinking about expanding out into premade and non-custom items that I could sell. The first thing that comes to mind are stickers since they’re simple to design and ship out due to their size. Would you guys be interested in stickers at all?

I also have some more traditional stuff in the works (and ideally available to commission at some point, wink wink) that i’m very excited to dive into since it’s entirely uncharted territory to me!

Of course my digital commissions are still open, and any continued support or some feedback would be appreciated!

Since the holidays are long over, my hours for my day job have been drastically cut (next week they could only give me 20 hours) so I’m kinda hurting for money at the moment.

I’ll be working on opening cheaper commission options and moving some prices around to make things more affordable. On the upside- more free time to work on some projects I haven’t been able to do! Hooray!
