So first of all, making the obligatory announcement to anyone who is curious that my birthday is coming up next month- February 11th to be exact. So if any of you friendos want to do gift art, feel free to do so~

Secondly, I've decided that in February, I'd do one of those "drawing a day" challenges I've seen other artists designate to certain months (i.e. Inktober). So to celebrate the "month of love" I decided I would do a lil' something I call "WAIFU-ary". To put it simply- each day of February I will TRY to do an inked sketch of my favorite anthro girls. Some of them being OC's from my favorite artists and users on this site, of course X3. Hopefully this will be a good practice for me to crank out stuff faster~

Well, we'll see how it goes, though. I just hope I don't get too burnt out after work every day in February. XD

Holy crap, you guys! I recently looked at my watcher count and saw that it was more than 2000 and still going!
I'm so happy I managed to get this far, especially since I only hit 1K back in 2014.

Thanks to everyone who stuck with me in the last 8 years I've been on this site. I hope to keep producing more content for all of you beautiful people and hopefully improve the areas in my art that I'm still rocky in.

In the meantime, still working on commissions and other artwork and stuff, also just came up with a new character for my gallery, so that's fun~
My day job is also keeping me busy as well as stuff I'm doing on the side to keep my 3D skills and animation up to date for any future jobs I get.

OH MY GAWD I AM SO HYPED FOR THIS LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!

On the one hand, it's only 25 seconds worth of footage from the upcoming seasons that we see here, so it could go either way. Could possibly end up being pointless, and maybe not have animation as amazing as the original 6 episodes (which I still hold in high regards).

But I can't help but still feel excited about my favorite anime of all time coming back and also have the Pillows come back on to do the soundtracks for both seasons once again! Just watching this 40 second trailer gives me tingles of nostalgia again~

Anyway, on a side note, I am gonna try and finish the remaining two commissions I have (still have an empty slot, btw). Anyway, my birthday was pretty simple. Just had a simple little outing with family to a really good sandwich joint. Nothing too extravagant, hell I didn't even have cake (probably not till a later time). XD But it was fun! I also stayed up till 4 playing Resident Evil 7, which is one of the gifts I asked for. It's honestly such a good game so far... but I think I gotta reload an earlier save now because I'm stuck on a boss with very little ammo left. XD They definitely trick you into thinking you have enough resources at first.

But yeah, it was a nice lil day off so far... NOW BACK TO WORK.

It begins...

I have a lot of animation to do for my thesis film by May, so I'm obviously not gonna be uploading a lot here. Commissions are also going to be closed until school is over.

Sorry guys, but the next couple of months are gonna be crucial, especially for someone who wants to land an animation career. When I finish my thesis project, I'll definitely post a link to it here!

Hey guys, I know this is sudden, especially since it's been a while since I did any journals to "spread the word" but this one is really dire.
One of my dearest friends on this site  katsuke (yes, you may recognize him from a drawing I uploaded 2 days ago) has returned from MFF only to find out he got detained from Canada for work-related troubles.

As a result, he is now facing a 1 year ban from entering the country, meaning they're forcing him to go back home to Malaysia within the next week (For those of you who are unfamiliar, he's a native to Malaysia, but he hates that place so he's been striving to earn a permanent residency in Vancouver). As someone who knows how hard he's been working to earn his citizenship and how many hurdles he's overcome just to extend his visa, it sickens me to hear that they would pull the rug from under his feet like this.

If there is anyway you guys can remedy this, please let him know. I know there probably is no way to reverse this, but maybe it's worth a shot. He is not doing too well right now...

Well, this certainly was a productive summer, full of working on stuff both for this gallery and my portfolio (most of which still needs polish, to be fair)!

But now comes a new hurdle in my life- Senior Year of art college. I'm gonna be super hard at work on a thesis film for my graduation and completing my animation major to hopefully land a studio job in the future!

Damn... I can't believe it. I'm gonna be an actual grown-ass man. <:I Feels... strange, to say the least.
