It's no big surprise, I'm sure. My original prices were kinda low - easily affordable and whatnot.... Lunch money prices, even...
However, with me working up some new skills, techniques and even a new style to go along with it, I feel it's time to price things a little more accurately. Especially considering how much more time is needed to complete my art in the new methods. I know I'll only get better and faster with time, but... meh!
This all being said - I'd really like to hear from all of you! what do you think are fair prices. Make note that my art is starting to look more like my most recent submission.
I'll be looking at other commission prices around here and other places too to get a better idea, myself.... but please leave a comment on what you think my price ranges should be. :3

I. Need. Money.
Big surprise, right?
Yeah...
Well, the long and short of my predicament is:
I'm living with my dad, in the room I lived in during High School, and my daughter has claimed my brother's old room on the weekends when I have her. Since moving in here, my dad has been laid off, but apparently didn't qualify for the full term of Unemployment. To top it all off, he needs to have surgery done on his foot before he can go back to work anywhere, but Disability has also denied his claim. Not once. Not twice! But Thrice! And the doctors have said that he cannot work without risking complete damage of his foot until he has surgery on it. However, the longer he goes without surgery also causes progressive damage and could possibly leave him disabled for the rest of his life...
Without Disability and Unemployment, we're essentially boned to keep the place afloat and safely over our heads....
But I gotta try something.... right?
So I've upped my prices just a smidge and do have quite a bit of free time in the afternoons now to just sit at my computer.
So far, I've managed to sit down through an evening and finish a piece of art from start to finish two nights in a row. Soon, Holidays and Inventory will be over at work and my hours will be cut too, giving me more opportunities for art.

$10 - Full Body Sketch w/ Flat Color OR Half Body Lineart
$15 - Full Body Lineart w/ Flat Color OR Half Body Colored/Shaded
$20 - Full Body Colored/Shaded
Add $2 per person/animals you want in the picture: For example, if you want two different characters in the pic as a full body sketch: $10 + 1 additional person = $12 Total. Full body colored: $20 + 4 People ($2 per person which is $8) = $28 Total... Ect.

Q: Why the hell is your stuff so cheap?!
A: Short answer #1= Because I love making people happy.
Short answer #2= Because I love having money. (Who doesn't?)
Long answer = Because I sometimes end up putting someone's commission on hold (points above to her commissions list) for various reasons such as NSFW content requested and my comp is in a heavily trafficked area. Or if work and school seem to forget that the other is present and overworks me with hours or homework.
I try to get things done within a weeks time, but life sometimes springs into action and puts a wrench in the gears.
Q: Should I pay for the commission before or after you're done with it?
A: Normally, I would prefer for you to pay up front as it shows I won't get jipped. If for some reason, there's a delay in the progression of an image, I have been known to refund the entire payment until I am done with the image so that I don't look like I'm trying to jip you either. I love everyone and want everyone to love me. I'm rather very honest when it comes to money and art.
Also - I've found that if you pay prior to me starting on the commission, I tend to work faster on it than if I were to have you wait to pay until after. I have commissioned a few people in the past and know it's easy to get excited once something is paid for. Therefore, it's just as exciting to me to attempt finishing it in a timely manner if I've already been paid to do the job. Otherwise, I assume that I may or may not ever see the money for the commission and get not quite so motivated into completing it until then.

So Chronicle has been married for almost two years, has a beautiful almost three year old daughter...
Well, Chronicle's husband has decided that it is best to go a separate path. At first, Chronicle was ok with this idea. The two of them had been toying with the idea for a while, but now...
There's bit of information that's been floating around lately that has Chronicle thinking that there's someone else in this picture somewhere. So Chronicle is in need of some luff... and also some help.
Given the recent turn of events, I'm looking even faster for a place to park my furry little butt away from all this drama. I'm jobless - having been so to be a stay-at-home mom for the little "panda" of ours - and I don't foresee me getting a job until closer to Thanksgiving or Christmas so that my 'husband' can find a place of his own and get settled into it and help care for our youngin' while still giving me the ability to find a decent job to care for myself. In other words, he currently works third shift during the week. He has to wait until October to switch to a weekend shift and leave me with the weeks to work.
We currently live in a dead town as far as jobs are concerned, so I'm looking for work where a lot of my friends are. It's not too far away, but for the moment it's a little inconvenient for daycare/babysitter opportunities for the little one.
I'm not expecting a lot, but everyone here knows how every little bit helps. I'm willing to go onto Livestream and sketch up some $1 sketches with some flat colors splashed onto them. Hopefully - with enough of these quick commissions - I'll be able to get some funds put into my barren bank account and at least get my paws in... some door to getting my life back on track.

Now - I'm willing to take commissions to help. My prices are cheap, so for every commission I get between now and the date of Sporty's muchly needed surgery will go to him to help fund the operation he needs. He has roughly $8,000 saved up already - he needs $16,500 to fully fund the operation.
My personal funds are tight, but I can manage a little while longer to get Sporty fixed up and running again.
So - this way, you get art - and Sporty gets a little closer to his healthy goal. Please guys. A fellow furre needs your help! Help me to help him?

... and I'm not allowed to choose what I want to do for it. What the fuck, yo?!
I know I'm supposed to be thankful that my families are thinking about me and want me to do stuff with them, but I can't think of a birthday - save for ones I had before 8 years of age - where I got to pick and choose what I wanted to do.
Dunno whether I should be anxious to find out what the family has planned (which won't be much because we've been struggling with funds for a while now)... or pissed off that I can't spend my birthday the way I want...

Posted 15 years agoThanks to everyone who prayed for my youngin'! She pulled through her surgery with flying colors. Went in Thursday morning, was in the obvious rooms of ICU for the rest of the evening, moved to a lower risk room on Friday and started walking the halls like crazy, then we were given the papers to allow us to go home on Saturday. Ok - First off - My 2 year old is getting open-heart surgery on Thursday. THIS THURSDAY!!! As in... the day after tomorrow... I need any and all types of prayers possible on this. I'm so nervous for her for multiple reasons. I feel confident that our chosen doctor will do his best, but it's still a surgery involving one of the most important organs in her little body so I know there's still the possibility that something that might happen. I'm praying like, 20 times more so this week then I think I ever have that this goes well...

Ok - onto the second thing...
This is a two-parter as well.
Because we're expected to be in the hospital for about a week, I've come to the daunting conclusion that:
1- That's going to be a loooooonnnng time sitting in a hospital with limited internet/things to do... and...
2- That's also going to cost us a lot of money for food costs as far as my husband and I are concerned. Funds for us are extremely tight since neither of us really have a job. D: And, I don't know if any of you guys have ever eaten in a hospital, but they're cafeteria food is not cheap... Not to mention parking fees in case we decide to go off the lot to get the somewhat cheaper food at the fast-food facilities...
With that said - I am opening a very loooonng list for any commissions possible! Every little bit helps! Or, if you want to donate to the "feed us" fund, I will love you forever and most likely do arts for you anyway. As a thank you for being so incredibly generous.

Would someone please be awesome enough to make me a new desktop background for my laptop? I'll forever be your cuddle buddy! :D
Truth is, I'm getting sick and tired of seeing WoW backgrounds that my Husband picks out for it. WoW is fun and all, but too much WoW art really starts to bug me.... x.x
I would like a good clean background pic - one I wouldn't mind letting the inlaws and my grandparents see. AND in really awesome art/quality. Preferably of my fursona just having a good ol' happy time outdoors in her tribal clothes and whatnot. Or leisurely exploring the woods or something to that effect.
If you want to be super super awesome, I wouldn't mind one done with my fursona hanging out with a few of my other OCs. XD Or of just one of my OCs? XD Just some suggestions.
I'd be happy to draw something back in return. Or two... or three... >>; Depending on how awesome you guys are. And I'll forever be your cuddle-buddy!

Well... Good news is I'm back.
And there is no bad news. XD
More good news! I got a Tablet this recent Christmas! And I'll say that I've gotten pretty good at adjusting to the new "Pencil and paper" set up I got going. :P I'm gonna post up my first full attempt soon (provided you can't see it yet) and I'm in the process of working on another (and definately more interesting) one. :P
I'll chat more later on, as it is late...

I think I got everything on my commissions page updated. Go there to browse some of my requirements and whatnot. I hope I'm not asking for too much? Or too little... if either, PLEASE tell me? I'm sort of new at the whole... commission via internet thing... >>;;
My muse is slowly coming back to me... Got a few personal projects starting up, along with the bukos of stuff that I need to finish for DeviantArt and here. BUT! I'm still waiting to move my scanner over here. D: I haven't been able to upload any of my arts that I've drawn and my fiance failed to tell me that we weren't going back to the last house to stay the night anymore... Otherwise I'd have it updated and stuff. (Scanner is still over there... and we're still paying rent there... >>;; We gotta be moved out by the end of March though since that was going to be the last rent payment we told our room mate we'd be paying... We just got a lot of stuff to do between now and then, though...
OH! And as far as the commision junk goes:
*I won't be starting up commisions until I get caught up on my To Do lists AND I get my scanner... I feel bad. I've got a few pics ready for some friends of mine already and they've been waiting a couple of weeks now for me to scan them up. D:
**If you WANT to set up a commision and don't mind waiting at all until everything is caught up, send me a note and we'll negotiate you wants. XD I don't mind starting a waiting list. :3
***Also, ALL money transfered will currently be used to buy cribs, changing tables, bottles, diapers, clothes, food, etc. for the baby I have on the way. This will change in the future, but for now, this will be my goal. Well! I'm back from my slump of depression and I'll have to say... Me = EXTREMELY Happy...
I've got a whole new life ahead of me - which brings me to the best news' of all!
For one - This tribal Wolf you've all known as Chronicle is getting married! Though we're thinking about holding it off for various reasons soon to be explained. Nothing bad! I promise!!
For TWO!! - I... am preggers! :DD I is going to have a behbeh!! <3 And I'm super duper happy about it.
Unfortunately that brings me to the bad news.... As much as I would love to make my second official trip up north for the annual get-together widely known as Anthrocon... I, sadly, will not be able to this year... and probably not next year as well... This year, being the reason that the due date for mah behbeh is in early to mid-August, and me being a first time Mommy to be, I don't want to be out of state so close to my due date. Not to mention that first time mommy-to-be peeps are more liable to give birth as early as two months premature... D: Definately don't want to risk it, yano?
Also - for the wedding - We had initially planned to get married at the end of march, early april and those plans seemed more.... urgent? once we discovered the comings of our spaw-- .... er... little youngin'... >>;; But sadly, we are the type that don't like getting pressured into these sort of things and my immediate family *mainly my over-religious grandparents* feel it necessary to continue pressing the matter that we MUST get married before the baby is born... otherwise it'll be unpure... or something stupid to that effect... >.O Now note: We love each other dearly, and we want nothing more than to spend the rest of our lives together, but we don't want our wedding to be thought of as, "Oh. They just got married because of the kid..." which is what I'm starting to see being pressured on us... weekly at the very least... I don't want that. And he doesn't want that. We want to get married because we LOVE each other.
YES! I understand that there are benefits to having a baby born in a married relationship, but I don't want jump into something to make OTHERS happy. I want me to be happy AND my fiance to be happy... Make sense?

Well! I'm back from my slump of depression and I'll have to say... Me = EXTREMELY Happy...
I've got a whole new life ahead of me - which brings me to the best news' of all!
For one - This tribal Wolf you've all known as Chronicle is getting married! Though we're thinking about holding it off for various reasons soon to be explained. Nothing bad! I promise!!
For TWO!! - I... am preggers! :DD I is going to have a behbeh!! <3 And I'm super duper happy about it.
Unfortunately that brings me to the bad news.... As much as I would love to make my second official trip up north for the annual get-together widely known as Anthrocon... I, sadly, will not be able to this year... and probably not next year as well... This year, being the reason that the due date for mah behbeh is in early to mid-August, and me being a first time Mommy to be, I don't want to be out of state so close to my due date. Not to mention that first time mommy-to-be peeps are more liable to give birth as early as two months premature... D: Definately don't want to risk it, yano?

Depression is troublesome...
Posted 18 years agoI'm thinking about leaving the net for a while.
I've been gone for nearly a month on here and only two people cared.
I mainly just have a lot on my mind lately. This that and the other. The whole moving thing is the biggest worry. I don't want to move and yet I do at all the same time, yet I know that either way I'm going to have to sooner or later. I kinda want to be left alone while not hurting any feelings, yet at the same time I get way too depressed whenever I'm by myself. I hate my job only half the time - depends on who is working that night - and I can't sleep during the day unless I starve myself of it and go to work two times in between sleep. Or unless I pass out, in which case I risk being late for work. And I might get depressed if I'm by myself, but at the same time, the depression gets worse if I am at home.
Bah. There's just too much chaining me down and not enough time or energy to help me dissolve the binds and figure things out. I need to de-stress myself.
That might take me some time. So don't get mad at me or worry if I disappear for a very long time. I'll be back eventually.
