Please provide your own frisbees if you have them, We will be doing a round of disc golf at Riverside Park just north of downtown GR for those that can play. After that, we will attempt to find some local geocaches in the park area using geocaching software on my phone (or anybody else that has them)

You are not obligated to do these if you dont want to! Even if you just wanna suit around and hand out, your more than welcome to. This will be a very casual meet.

Afterwards, plan on getting dinner and drinks at a local bar/grille or brewery at a place to be determined at during the time of the meet. After that, we go about our merry ways :P

Future Plans
Due to my ex constantly avoiding me and ultimately dumping me via email, lots have changed in my life. Some of it will reflect on what could happen later this year. Its been a long road to recovery, and honestly, the road will never end. I would rather die than have anybody suffer through the endless pain I have endured. For those who truly love each other, deserve to be treated equally just like others. Because of this, over the past month, I have become quite the Human Rights activist. I plan on growing on this in helping show my support for LGBT rights

I am also desperately trying to get off 3rd shift. This will help me be on a stable schedule and plan better for the future. My sleep pattern has been very disorienting for the past 8 months and I need to get it back on track.

Finally, I am planning to find a room mate sometime this year probably in the later summer. Winter is an expensive season and financially, I simply don't make enough money to support myself alone. I will be enjoying my life to the fullest potential this summer so needing one at this very moment isn't necessary, but expect me to help you all spread the word should the need arrives. Right now, I have 1 (maybe 2) good prospects, and I hope to God it all works out. But we shall see how this summer unfolds. I expect great things for not only me, but everybody

So.... What's the deal? I've never heard of IMVU until yesterday and have seen a lot of different furs complain or shrug it off or what. Could somebody clarify what exactly is going on? I'm lost here.

Hey fuzzbutts. Its ben awhile since Ive posted anything about whats been going on in my life (unless you have been following me on Twitter) but needlesstosay, the last 6 months have been hectic. To put it short and sweet:

I rented out my house to save money due to not being able to find a roommate
I lost my Sunfire due to its age and now own a Vibe (which ironically was broken into)
Ive had my backpack stolen
I have been battling a severe case of depression and have been seeking therapy for a few months
Ive lost out on 2 job promotions.

But not all is lost....

In the past 6 months, I have shrunk my student loans down SIGNIFICANTLY. Got my car insurance cut almost in half, and have been cautiously optimistic about this upcoming summer

I guess that's it. I dont feel like going into full detail about whats been going on in my life. Next week, I will be moving back into my home which I cannot express enough how excited and relieved I am to have my place of solitude back. I look forward to strengthening my relationship with my Nuki, and spending more time with my family and friends. This year, I have made it a goal to get back into shape again. That means more DDR, more bike riding, and I would love to go hiking or camping since I still have never done that in my life.

ALSO! MCFC, I will be there. I'l probably end up posting one of them meememer things or whatever the hell they're called. Also, I got approval to say the N word from 3 of my black co-worker last Wednesday. So thats pretty awesome

Good evening everyfuzzy. I thought I would write up a journal regarding whats been going on lately in my life over the past couple months.

Due to recent events regarding my car, it is no longer road safe and I have been in a very tight pinch financially. The good news is however, I may be getting a newer car; a nice one at that! But because I don't have much money to my name, I have to take out a loan... this means cutting back on certain things... As much as I hate to say it, but after looking forward to it all year, I decided to cancel Grand Rapids Comic Con.

"But that's not MFF" you say. Thats because I'm still going! I already made plans to go and have stuff lined up so I wouldn't miss it for the world. Plus, I'm well overdue for a mini vacation. I need to get away from family and work drama, and get a chance to spend time with the ones I haven't seen lately, especially my Nuki, for whom I haven't had a nice get-away with him in a long time. Plus it would feel great to be surrounded by my furry bretheren so I can get away from all of the fighting and back talking that I've had to endure for the past I-don't-know-how-long

So that's the bulk of it. Thanksgiving is around the corner, and starting Sunday night, I'll be pulling in some mad hours to help pay for this car and save up for MFF. In the meantime, while I'm still living with the parents, I just gotta buckle down and save every dime I can until I can move back into the comfort of my own home agian ^^

Hello to all, or few, who read this. I just want to touch base with everybody here to explain my current living situation.

First off, I am terribly sorry for my absence in both the online world and in real life. Depression really made a turn for the worst on me late in the summer which has cause me to feel very unmotivated and insecure about a few things. Its nobody's fault, but I have been doing a lot of prayer and soul searching for the past 2 months to try to become a better me.

First off, my mate: If you ever get a chance to read this: I love you so much. I know, like all relationships, there will be gaps to overcome, but I have faith that we can get through this. Nothing will ever change the way I feel about you. Don't you ever forget that <3

To my family and friends, I am sorry if I have become very irate and distant. The problems has been a snowball effect where every problem has become stacked on top of each other which has gotten to the point where I would feel broken. My relationship with my dad, and two brothers were so bad to the point where I couldn't even look them in the eyes. Fortunately it has gotten better (its a personal issue that I don't want to get into). Long story short, I am living back with my parents for the next 4 months. And then, in that time, I need to find a room mate to live with. Now I know 4 months doesn't seem like a long time, but trust me, it hasn't been easy so far. Ever since moving back to my parents, I have lost almost all form of privacy and felt very unwelcome (that problem is fixed now thank God). Not only that, because my family lives out of town, the internet service out here is very poor. waiting for FB or youtube to load is now a chore. It takes me 20 times longer to check my banking not than it has when I lived at my house. I can'y even enjoy my music anymore because I dropped my Spotify account, and my mp3 player broke; it sounds very trivial, but trust me when I say how frustrating it can be not being able to enjoy music at a leisure. Music soothes my soul and helps me relax

Due to that... my work performance has changed too, ironically for the better! The store manager loves my performance and wants me to become a department manager! If I get this job, it wont necessarily be a pay raise (I'll be making the same amount) but this will open me up for more opportunities to get promoted, and best of all, get off 3rd shift! A month ago, I was given an opportunity to work on 1st shift for a couple weeks, and I loved every minute of it. My days felt longer and more fulfilling, which in turn, helped my depression a little bit. And being in sync with my mates schedule, along with some friends, felt very refreshing. Due to my attitude though, I have become very irate, which in a sense has kind of helped me out with pushing for higher-up. I absolutely hate being walked on and taken for granted.

Another thing I forgot to mention too was on top of all of this stress, I've been helping my friend, who just got out of the army, and his family get on their feet, so half of my time has been spent helping them move (we even let them crash at our place until they got an apt), which honestly was very bittersweet. I loved having a friend to talk and hang out with, but 2 families living under one small roof brought on a whole new set of challenges.

So yeah that's all that has been going on for me, I can't think of anything else to say other than I'm still here, and that there's a furmeet coming up in GR on Oct 25th (I'll post details next week) and my chances of going to MFF went up a lot which I'm excited for. Take care every one

Time to boot up some Persona 4 now!

Hello everyfur. I just wanted to touch base with you all that this past couple months have been incredibly busy. A big factor in that is my bro is getting married this weekend! I'll be able to say that I have a sister :D. I'm really excited, but very nervous about how things will turn out. The past couple weeks, it has really been starting to set in. Overall, I am very happy for them. I hope they can live a long bright happy future together. Looking at them, I always think about how happy and lucky I am to have somebody to love and care for myself. The feeling never goes away, and it is something I am incredibly thankful for. Words just cannot simply express that.

After labor day, I have decided that I will be renting my house out to my brother and sister-in-law to help them get a jump start on life (this will help me save money and pay off my student loans as well). In the beginning of summer, I stated that depression has creeped up back on me but right now, I'm in a limbo phase where one day I'll be very happy, then the next day I'll be unmotivated. It doesn't help that work has been insanely busy on top of this wedding prep, on top of moving, on top of trying to enjoy summer (which hasen't been all too successful) whew.

After Labor day, I'm turning all of my attention to work. The artprize furmeet is coming up next month too and I will DEFINITELY be attending that. I haven't worn Chronusky in a long time so hes due for some fun times ^_^ then I got a birthday coming up a month after, which I'm looking forward to.

So yeah thats that. I havent been checking FA much lately or giving out proper updates, but I'll be online a lot more once I hit my downtime this fall. Meh we'll see. Until next time.... *back to Persona 3*

One more night of work then its vacation time! I'll update this journal once the weekend gets here. In the meantime, I got dinner plans with my friend who just served 8 years in the military and is finally home today back in GR. Ultimate!

Yup. You heard it here. That means less icons and less clutter which makes my page a little less annoying I suppose :P

I leanred how to add stuff in journal headers so now I have a shortcut list of my furry friends located just above my journals; that way they're not bogging down my front page at the top. I also tweaked my list of favorite artists to include my good artistic friends as well as other artists that I like to commission. Seriously you all should check them out ;)

My weekend was spent mostly at home. On the 4th of July, I got to watch the parade and Dorr festivals with my whole immediate family. Afterwards, we got ox roast before I headed out to Byron Center for a local 4th of July furry BBQ meet. It was a lot of fun! I got to see  Sanura_snowleopard and  Barkley Photography and chat with them for a long time. We also attempted some geocaching and I fursuited during the process too! I might post a few pictures on my FA page for you all to enjoy. Later that night, I watched the fireworks with a few friends and family, before calling it a night. After being up for almost 30 hours from working the night prior, I slept like a rock!

Saturday, I woke up at noon (ugh) but ended up geocaching for a good 5 hours out towards lake Michigan. My friend and I found a really cool park called Outdoor Discover Zone. It was HUGE! 130 acres of woods, wetlands, and boardwalks along with lots of cool exhibits. Overall it was a very productive and fun day.

This morning I went fishing with my dad and bro then just chilled at home playing a lot of Final Fantasy VI. What can I say, its a classic :P

The rest of my week I have other nifty things planned. I'm on vacation from work so I'm looking to enjoy the most out of it ^_^ Hope everyone else has a great week too!

Good day everybody. I hope this summer has been treating everybody well so far. Sadly, I wish I could say the same.

While Its not necessarily going terrible in my life, lets just say things have not taken a turn for the better. Ive been trying to dig myself out of a financial hole since Winter (EXPENSIVE) and its been half a year already. I am in dire need of a new car and have been trying my best to sell some wares and save money but it seems like every time I get the opportunity, something comes up involving money. I have also lost a lot of motivation trying to lose weight (but I am doing a good job at it, slowly but surely).

For the past 3 months, the time spent with my mate has been a lot more slim than it was before. I hardly ever get to spend much needed 1 on 1 quality time with him so every opportunity I get to see his amazing face I take it. I cannot tell you how happy I was to get to see his amazing face every day this past weekend during JAFAX. Plus I have a vacation coming up after July 4th, and I'm hoping to take him to the beach or go see a movie or cook dinner for him again one of these days :) . Truth is, we are just so busy this summer and its frustrating trying to make time to spend with him. It doesnt help that I have 2 weddings on my side of the family on top of my bro getting married! I'm very excited but nervous... which brings on a whole new set of problems (which I'll discuss in another journal after plans have been made final)

My lack of time spent with my mate, on top of the stress of work and janky vehicle, has also led to my depression creeping back up to me. Rest assured I am doing everything I can to fight it. I still try work out every day and eat healthy. I also am finally in a stable sleep cycle (I sleep usually from 9am-4pm) so I still got my afternoons to socialize. Buts there. I can feel it; and during tear down at JAFAX, it hit me pretty hard. So as much as I hate to say it, I think I'm going to have to go back on antidepressants. Its more of a safe measure before it gets any worse because I fear if I don't do anything now, then by mid summer, I'll be miserable and you'll be lucky to see me even get out of bed. I don't want a repeat of last summer/fall when my depression was at its worst.

Thats all I'm going to talk about for now. My plans for the weekend got cleared so I will actually be attending the GR bowing meet this weekend. Dunno about next month though (busy busy busy!) but we'll see. Until then, take care fellas

Good morning! I hope you are all doing well. A lot has been going on in my personal life, both good and bad, and I thought I would do my best to explain to you all what all I have been up to as of late.

First off, my humble apologies if it feels like I have fallen off the face of the earth. To be honest, I have. Work has been very stressful with our store becoming a Super Center on top of Inventory... oh not to mention we are shortstaffed, including 2 management positions overnight. Its a mess. Speaking of which, for those who read my last journal, I politely turned down the Support Manager position. After weighing my options, I realized that the loss of my weekends and the small raise just didn't justify. Weekends are like the only time I get to see Nuka if I'm lucky, on top of attending cons and family obligations, I just can't do it. And the amount of responsibility for only $1.30 more just doesn't cut it. I've seen how stressful these positions go. Working retail is already hard enough as is it is. My family has been very supportive of my decision and I couldn't be any more thankful.

Speaking of family, I just cannot help but tell you all how grateful they all have been, especially my mother. She has always given me a shoulder to cry on when I needed it. She is always doing simple things for me such as invite me over or dinner (especially this past winter when I couldn't afford to feed myself) or help clean my house. She has also been extremely supportive of my new relationship and absolutely loves my mate. On top of all of this, my younger brother is getting married this summer. He has been serious in his relationship for over 2 years now with the high school girl of his dreams (thats almost 5 years strong!) and I couldn't be happier. Its exciting to say that I will finally have a sister. YAY!

But not all is peaches and cream. As of how things are planned, my brother is looking to move out before the Fall season. This means I have to find a new room mate by New Years. Normally I would think, ok thats still 6-7 months from now, but this past Winter has put a huge struggle on my savings. I have officially been a homeowner for 1 year and 3 days. It has been a very rocky experience. I absolutely love having my own place to call home (especially with a blazing fast internet connection), but what good is home when you live alone? Sadly my depression has been on and off because of this, but I'm hoping that will change real soon.

And finally, in the furry world, Ive been pretty low since MCFC. I'm not gonna lie; I do miss my furry family. This weekend I planned on attending the GR monthly bowling meet, but that is now up in the air due to possible plans. Next month, I will NOT be attending because it falls on the same day as my brother's bachelor party before he goes on vacation to Canada. I will be attending JAFAX though, and I'm very excited about that. I also have a very high interest in checking out S.S Kaizoku Con (anime con in Muskgeon). MFF though I'm not sure. I don't even have a room or ride situation planned, but I'm hoping to have more details after JAFAX

I had a few pieces of art commissioned since MCFC and I just received a piece I got from MFF. I have 3 more commissions lined up and I will be posting them within the next week or so. I'm actually pretty excited. I love seeing my character come to life. :D speaking of which, Chronusky is getting some work done on him so I'm really looking forward to that.

Well that's all I got for now. I know I probably missed out on a few important things I wanted to mention but I'm tired and its bed time. I will be posting a new Journal in a couple days so a long journal doesn't stay on my page :P

So long story short, my old boss quit last week and both my assistant manager and even our store manager approached me last night and suggested I apply for the position. For those who don't know, I work at Walmart and have been on 3rd shift for about 7 years now. This position will still be 3rds but the pay raise is an extra $1.30 an hour and I would go from 5 8-hour days to 4 10-hour days.

I am more nervous than I am excited for this position so I'm a little hesitant. I did have to take a test and I passed it. Ultimately it may boil down to having a simple choice of yes or no. the though of working only 4 nights a week would save me a lot on gas on top of the raise which would help pay my bills, but it also means I may lose my weekends, and more importantly, less chances to spend time with friends and family which is necessary for me to wind down after a stressful workweek.

What are your thoughts and opinions fellow furs? Do you think this is a good job opportunity well worth taking? I think it would be neat being able to say I'm the boss. I already express leadership in my current position, but I also tend to crack under serious pressure, Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
