I'm always thinking of improving my art and delivering more to my followers, one of things that are on my mind a lot is non-rendered works. I almost always exclusively post full render artworks, try to add some background not to make it boring, but it does take a lot of time and efforts and sometimes doesn't allow me to post too often. What do you think about flat colour artworks or sketches? Do you pay attention to such submissions? Do you have any preferences?
I would like to practice more with simple sketches but too afraid to post such things as they wouldn't look as polished or colourful.

Another thing is that a lot of people like seeing sketches, WIPs and other "behind the scenes" materials but FA is not the best platform for it. I know a lot of artists nowadays use Telegram channels, does anyone use those too? Would you like to see more of me on other social media platforms? Many artists also use Patreon, what are your thoughts on it? I am subscribed to two people and enjoy what I get overall. But would you be willing to join me on Patreon? What costs\tiers seem acceptable and what should you get for joining?

And following the sketch section, I want to draw more things quicker (instead of spending several days on one artwork) and I could practice with some fanart! What fandoms are you currently interested in? Who would you like to see?

i keep seeing more and more news about new censorship for different sites in a variety of countries and that makes me worried. first of all, HATE this rise of purity culture and right-wing ideology, it's insane how many dog whistles are being spread around, but now i wonder how it affects you guys!
have you already encountered some blocked sites? are you willing to share your personal information\facial recognition materials just to access something? does that even affect your country? do you know how do deal with it? are you already using VPN? so many questions but i do want to know. i find these policies ridiculous as it will not "protect" anyone (people will surely keep enjoying all types of materials, but it will be just more difficult to track and control) and they are limiting a lot more than just NSFW materials, it's very political and controlling.
as a Ukrainian, i have had a similar experience in my life as one russian website got banned like a decade ago for the entire country (kinda for the right reasons) but we still used it with VPN and only switched to another social media once a new one seemed appealing enough to transition to. so yeah i can say with certainty that most people will not stop visiting their favourite sites and yet i am afraid it will influence artists too, like loosing their audience and even clients. so where do you stand? is there any effect on you and what are your plans?
additionally, i am sure that FurAffinity will be banned in some countries, but that's kinda the only place where i reside... what other social media do you actively use? is there a point in posting cross-platform? please let me know your thoughts as i am growing concerns as the days pass! 𐔌՞. .՞𐦯

Now for a little personal update, as some may know I am quitting my job this month and I am currently dealing with all of the issues that come with it, especially taxes for the second quarter of the year. The legal aspects are smothering me so please wish me luck and I hope you'll stick with me before I come back with more artworks\ychs and the next bimonthly art raffle! ! possible TMI regarding female reproductive system

as mentioned in my previous journal, i came home for a few reasons, but very importantly - to take care of my health. i hadn't seen a medical professional in two years due to my work and financial inability. after saving up, i finally had a proper check-up. some things are fine and even better than before, like my sight, but there are things that have been developing and are not planning to stop. a lot of cancer signs, my whole body has indicators that i am very susceptible to it. but my cervix is the worst example, there is dysplasia on it and the next step is cancer cells. i've been diagnosed with CIN (Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) grade 3, it's not cancer yet but it is the next stage. after losing my granny three months ago and my grandpa ten years ago both to cancer and with my mom actively fighting it and making sure there are no new tumors, i am trembling and panicking. i am feeling really desperate, like cancer is my family curse and i am the next one.
since it was a basic check-up that covered most of my body, not a specific part of it, it was just the first step of understanding my condition. i am going to take more specific tests that should show how i developed dysplasia and how we will be treating it in the future, there are different ways: cryotherapy, laser therapy, loop electrosurgical procedure (LEEP), or cone biopsy to remove or destroy the abnormal tissue (according to medical websites) but i don't even have enough money for the tests. the tests might show that it's not as bad as the doctor is predicting, but i am severely stressed because of this whole discovery.
i have tickets home for Saturday and I am going back to work on Tuesday, i have to run the test on Friday and then try to seek medical help in Bulgaria. since i didn't expect such expenses, i now only have $70 in my bank account for the next week. currently i am only looking for funds for those tests as there is no specific treatment assigned to my case. they will cost me around $100, which is not a lot but already beyond my budget and expectations. i will only get my teaching paycheck on the 7th of April, so i have to seek commissions or donations here. if you are able to help me in any way, i would truly appreciate it. i can accept donations to my paypal workingnin[at]gmail.com or try and make some art for you. please, let me know if there's something you can do.

hello everyone, sorry i wasn't very active this week, i was actually travelling home!
after two days on planes, buses and trains i am finally in Kharkiv! to some it may come off as a shock as not a lot of sane people would risk going back to a war-torn country (especially after the latest political news) but i am here only for two weeks. i spent a year and a half not seeing my family which felt incredibly lonely, i can't begin to describe the feeling of homesickness i would feel... my grandmother is also celebrating her 70th birthday in two days, so i had to come for her jubilee! and, unfortunately, i am here due to my health too. in Bulgaria we haven't got any support or insurance and any health services would cost an arm and a leg. and after working non-stop for a year and a half i developed quite a few issues. i hope to resolve (or at least run some tests and get some meds) them here. everything costs a lot of money, so i would be simply elated to work on some new commissions or receive some PayPal donations as a sign of support! you can always note me in case you'd like me to portray something ✐ᝰ
