So, who else gained weight during corona and is now desperately trying to lose it?

I think I've never before in my life been heavier D; this sucks. But on the positive side, I've at least managed to shed already 4-5kg in 1 month or so (10 pounds to those who use the different weight tool) but it's probably gonna take me several more months to get back to my 'normal' size and then hopefully go even more down from there d;

It's like, I finally had the BEST reason to just hang home and keep others safe, except I totally lazed off more than I should've and this is the result. Darn. Luckily I'll have gotten my second vaccination shot soon (1 month from now-ish), so after that I may restart my gym-routine again, or something! It's not that I don't enjoy just sitting here and enjoying my own peace and privacy, but I don't exactly want to turn in to an actual massive couch potato x3

Years keep piling on, but nothing much changes :D Well, that's not completely true. Here's what's been up -->

Corona happened. I'm single again. I finally got the courage to DM a DnD game with my friends, then passed the torch a bit before a full year was up to one of my friends. I was employed, now unemployed again. Finally got my own VR equipment, but still waiting on the better computer to be able to do more than just Beat Saber (which on it's own already is freaking AMAZING!).

Yeah, I think that's about it in a nutshell. Might upload some more arts that I've piled up but been too lazy to put here at some point. Maybe even post some pieces of the kobold cleric I've been playing in the DnD campaign! We shall see.

Hope everyone's been surviving and being nice to others in the mean time. Honestly, Corona hasn't really affected my life that much at all, but I can understand that some people have been more or less devastated by it. Try to keep up with the safety regulations a bit longer. It might take another year or so at worst, but then (hopefully!) we should be free of this virus, or at the very least be free of it's most devastating effects.

It sure did this time. A year practically flew by and a lot happened. All in short order; my relationship with Balamoo deepened more, I'm still mostly unemployed, I still have a lot of hopes and dreams but haven't achieved all of them. BUT, I'm happy and I'm striving to be a better noodle, so there's that, atleast!

And another year is soon coming to a close and that means contemplating my achievements for the year and the upcoming challenges for the new year. As always, one shouldn't dwell too long on things but rather do something about overcoming all the obstacles. My obstacles just tend to take a longer time to overcome, it appears ;D

Oh, and some of you probably already noticed that I went on an upload spree. Oh my. Commissions from 2016 and some other random gags etc. sketches. I'm catching up! *snerks* Yeah, sorry about that ;D I'll promise to atleast TRY and upload the rest of the stuff from 2017 and up to this moment. There isn't that much stuff left, but I'm sure there's a fair bit of stuff that most of you'll probably enjoy seeing.

So I've been dating this green butt,  balamoo for a lil while now and he's been pretty darn amazing. It's not everyday you find someone normal and find THAT to be one of the most attractive qualities to a person :D (Not the only one, I assure you). So, at the beginning of the new year I asked him to be my boyfriend, and he agreed! A great way to start a new year, I gotta say.

Also, yes, I totally may or may not have forgotten to upload the promised booties on the gallery as I promised on the last journal I wrote. This time I'm gonna just say "Soon™" and do it whenever... maybe soon, maybe later? d; If nothing else, made a thing just recently for me and Balamoo, so go take a look at that, if interested!

We mutually decided to end the relationship to save each other from further pain down the road. We didn't quite find what we were looking for in each other. To honor their privacy, I won't say anymore about the subject and wish them the best in their future.

Yes, it hurt. But I'm already feeling better and slowly getting better still, I'll be fine. Just wanted to put that out there.

On a lighter side of news, I've finally decided to upload a buttload of commissions, and some gifts from a friend for your enjoyment, that I've been saving up for over a year and been too lazy to put up here. Maybe you've seen a fair bit of them already on the artists galleries, but if you haven't, then you will see 'em soon here =)

I also had a birthday not too long ago. 30 years old now, huh. I feel like an old nudl, yet, exactly the same as before. It is still an interesting milestone that I was sort of dreading. But I guess it isn't quite as bad as I thought, after all.

So, I caved in and played through Undertale yesterday to achieve pacifist ending.

Best "feels" game this year that I've played so far, and I've played a LOT of games. The music was absolutely amazing as well and after awhile, i even grew to love the art style of the graphics a LOT!

Considering the price-tag on the game, I Heartily suggest people to give it a go.

Oh, and for those who like more killing and fighting and heavy difficulty, there IS the genocide path as well... Me, I personally do not even want to play that path at this point anymore XD HELL no.

I'm calling it early, that there'll be a tsunami of undertale themed art-submission, YCHs and commissions. Unless there already is! *checks* Oh wait, there is. Well, EVEN MORE in the near future!

Got loads of sleeping debt though, so time to sleep for me. Gawd bless the weekends!

Wow. I must say this has been possibly one of the most experience-rich year for me right after the one when i moved away from my parents and found love.

I got healthy and buffed again, then i got assaulted, then i got fat and lazy again, then i got in to a surgery because of a problem with my leg and finally got to a short course in a school which helped me get to a much longer one that should finally provide me with the know-how to get a job in the finnish job market.

I feel tired. I know i have to start working out again, get in shape, work up the nerve again to feel optimistic about things. I finally have something to look forward to again this coming autumn with the school and i'll be walking normally again soon as well. Shit happens. Still feel pretty tired though, but i'll blame my ass being rooted to this chair and that bed for over 3 weeks now because of the surgery for that (Like hell i'm gonna go wobbling around on two sticks outside unless i absolutely have to, like to take out garbage).

I just wish I wouldn't have been thrown backwards like this in my plans to move on to a more healthy, better life. Don't understand me wrong, i will always get up again and start taking steps forward, but i think i feel justified to feel angry and disappointed that these sad things happened to me at this point!

*rubs eyes wearily*

In two months time, i'm sure i'll be back to my old self again and seriously working towards my goals. Till then, I'm nolife over steam summer sales games i grabbed, gaming away the short amount of time i still have to just be and do nothing as my leg heals.

I just wish i had someone to share my highs and lows with ;d more than just a friend.

To remind myself of the last pile of art i'll be getting from artists and then stopping there, I'm putting this list up here. Still got a fair bit of extra money to roll around in but i need to save it for possible emergencies or other more important purchases.

I enjoyed greatly spreading some extra money to artists I love and new artists I didn't even know about to push their abilities and to see how they see my ideas. I had been itching to do this for years so the last couple months I've felt amazing and happy ordering these commissions.

Probably should've posted earlier, but it was an absolutely unremarkable birthday so it kinda just slipped my mind until a week had passed.

My accomplishments for this year were:

1) Moving to a bigger city (I kept looking upwards and to the sides constantly, now i'm used to the big scene ;d)
2) Making new friends (*waves at Plop and Pheel*)
3) Magic the gathering (Very amateurishly, my friend does most of the deck building ;D)
4) Gym (Half a year behind now, never been stronger in my life d: And i'm still weak compared to an average man)
5) Still unemployed but have heavy chances of adult school ahead of me, which should enable me to finally get a job on a field that has more of 'em open than the current one i'm qualified for. (Ain't nobody want to hire videocamera-capable men these days here. So off to an office i go to twiddle with numbers!)
6) Got so drunk that i couldn't tell which team i was playing on TF2. Yet my friend says my sniping aim kept getting better and better. I told him i play better drunk! Armouredlemming definitely had a good time hearing me play, i can tell ya that! (Still only do it a few times a year though :d)
7) Found new hope for myself in the form of self-improvement, who doesn't like losing 10 kilograms? (or 22 pounds if that's your thing)

Aaand that's about it. Gonna keep things rolling and hopefully by the next birthday i'll be a working fellah, with some random luv to share my life with and also a much thinner and stronger body!

Most of the pain a person goes through in their life is often caused by him-/herself.

So, would it make sense to not be so depressed and criticize yourself constantly in every situation on a daily basis?

Everyone should strive to become better and happier in their lives. Whatever it takes to reach these goals.

Otherwise you're just cheating yourself and causing more self-suffering.

Motivate yourself by knowing that you don't have to have someone by your side to make yourself happy. That is only but a single way to do it. You can and will be able to bring happiness to yourself if you believe in yourself and take steps to reach this goal.

There are thousands of techniques, ways, books etc. in the world on how to reach this ultimate goal of existence. There's one for everyone, so don't be shy and take a pick!

And once you do reach your goal, don't stop there and stagnate... stay happy!

Because everyone deserves to be happy, but often the person who is stopping you from being so the most is yourself.

First of all, i'm not going to be spoiling anything.

Just wondering how many of you actually realized what the ending meant on single player campaign, and which was the correct choice (as in the perfect ending). I didn't. Took me a few days of researching and pondering before it hit me. Now i can't wait to see what happens next. If nothing, well, it doesn't irk me as much anymore as it did before.

Quite angry that i didn't get to romance garrus as male shep though :< only got to have some bromancing. Oh well, better than nothing i guess. Still was an amazing gaming experience. Best game i've played in years, if not the best overall in my whole gaming history d:

Sometimes I feel like I think too much about some things. I start making things up and imagining worst case scenarios that must sound silly if not impossible if I told them to someone. The worst part is that when I start doing this, I find it almost too hard to stop at most times. It's like being plagued by nightmares while being awake.

At times I wish I could just get reassurance and a strong hand around me to calm down. But right now I can only depend on my own hands and give myself a hug.

I hope i'm not screwing things up bad. I want to end this waiting, this hibernation. Maybe next time, i'll take the initiative, make the first move and stop waiting. I want to live as life is supposed to be lived. Dragons don't hibernate as far as i know!
