EDIT: Just got phone confirmation for an appointment this Wednesday to make sure I don't actually do need surgery. Absolutely fantastic. The last thing I want is to go to hospital. I will say it is kind of weird that they'd wait three weeks to potentially send me to hospital. If it was THAT urgent, they'd probably have sent me in when they got the Xrays. Regardless, I'll be sitting on hot coals for the next few days. I love nothing more than uncertainty with big life changes <3 fuck.



Just the ER of the hospital but my kneecap is on its last legs. Work will happen, just very slowly as I need to lift and rest my leg a lot and can't move too much or put pressure on it as to not make it worse.

If I'm slow, now you know why. It actually happened Monday, but after my knee got crunchy yesterday I figured, hey. Probably a good idea to get that looked at. So I got an x-ray and here we are. It surprisingly doesn't actually hurt that much since it's now fixed with an orthesis but that thing is dumb and stuffy and hot and sucks. Also I need to catch up on rest I've been missing because, well, a broken knee doesn't good sleep make.

Best part is that I got the injury trying to be helpful to someone else. :p

So, good news first: I've an appointment next week to fix my bike and will definitely know the price by Tuesday, Wednesday max. (I don't trust my bike not to develop something at random...)

Bad news is that I have been hit with a random 200€ charge of money, meaning what I've put aside for the bike is pretty much. Yeah.

got my new laptop all set up and hopefully ready for use. Mind that I'll need a little bit of time getting actually into the flow, so iff updates and commission progress slows a little bit, I apologize!

Please note that my friend is still here, and will be here til Sunday morning.
