'Have Gun, Will Kick Ass' FOR SALE
Posted 13 years agoOh, what the hell? I decided today I'm going to go ahead and try my hand at selling shit. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7777964/ This in particular.
I'm still debating on a price, but if someone offers something reasonable, I might just take it. Keep in mind, though, I do plan on cleaning up the sloppy edges on the flames in the background.

Posted 14 years agoHeyo, Spike's doing this one.
You are placed, through involuntary means, in an environment that's completely new to you. You're unprepared and no one's helping. There isn't even a tour guide. What to do?
Ain't that just how it goes? I mean, this may sound cynical for someone in my position, but nobody ever helps. Just keep movin' forward and don't be afraid to raise your fists.
You've recently developed a crush on someone and it's strong, as in you have an urge to openly express your feelings. How do you approach this dilemma?
Don't pussyfoot around it, man. Just DO it. That's how I roped Lyla in. You just need to grow the pair you're entitled. Women don't like you putzing around the subject like a whiny neutered animal.
Your rival, who may or may not be your arch enemy as well, has just beat you in a competition, in front of everyone. What's your initial reaction?
Death before dishonor. I'd get up and keep fighting til either I won or died trying.
Someone who you previously thought of as a reliable friend has just betrayed you. Response?
Good GOD, are we still in high school? To me, turning on a friend is grounds for the most savage beatdown of their lives.
When asked what you think of the term "bravery" you answer...
Bravery is leaving no ass unkicked, y'know? If you feel that something is wrong or immoral, by God, you change that.
You have been asked to attend a very fancy occasion, like a dinner party or masquerade ball for those of rich status. Upon receiving the invitation you...
No thanks. Class I can fake, but I'd feel really out of place somewhere where I couldn't be me, per se. Basically, anywhere where I can't blare Hard Rock and crack open some PBRs.
You've found a wallet with a considerable amount of cash inside it. It has vague information on who the original owner was and no one's around to see you pick it up. What do you do?
If I'm scavenging, I may keep as much cash as I need, but under any other circumstances, they'd get back all of their money. Being a Guardian Angel grants me some pretty great tracking abilities and technology.
Someone you don't know very well has come up and desperately asked to use one of your possessions for a bit, promising to be careful. What do you think?
Really, what could you have taken from me that I haven't already lost? The only things I have left are my .44 Magnum and the shirt on my back, and you definitely aren't taking my gun from me.
What, overall, is your greatest fear? (Think this one over.)
This question would be so much better had I not lived out my greatest fear already. Losing Lyla was something I'd been fearing for years.
What do you want more of?
Another beer right now wouldn't be too bad.
In all honesty though, I could use more of a sense of belonging than I have now.
Media and the press and a swarm of screaming fans has found you! Reaction?
Well, I'd probably sign some autographs or share some stories with fans, but not until I'd incapacitated that camera crew.
What do you think of getting married and possibly raising a family?
That was my dream. In all honesty, even a macho guy like me wants that. Lyla would've made the best mother of anyone I know.
A renowned seer who's successfully told the future before has foretold your death. It will happen in one week. Uh oh...what do you do?
Uh, a bit late to the draw there, dontcha think?

10 Thangs
Posted 14 years agoThe Rules:
- You must post these rules.
- Each tagged person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
- You have to choose and tag 10 people and post their icons on the same journal.
- Go to their pages and tell them you tagged them!
1:I drink entirely too much Ruby Red Squirt.
2:I'm straight, conservative, AND religious, and yet still miraculously not a douche.
3:I have the tendency to wear rebel flag apparel. This does not make me racist,
4:I'm entirely too generous. You'll know if you're a good friend of mine if you shit yourself when you open my birthday present.
5:Pabst Blue Ribbon is win.
6:I smoke.
7:I work a nightshift job and LOVE it.
8:I'm from the U.P. of Michigan. This makes me pretty much invincible.
9:I hate where I live.
10:You mess with my friends, you mess with me.

Step 2: Post the first line or two from the first 20 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing.
Step 3: Take the songs off the list when someone guesses both artist and track correctly.
Step 4 (IMPORTANT): For those who are guessing, looking the lyrics up on a search engine is CHEATING!
Step 5: If you like the game post your own.
1 "Hands all over the eastern border "
2 "So early morning when you come to me, comfort me, stop rewind and... play back that melody"
3 "All this time, all that was coming down was mine"
4 "Spent my days with a woman unkind, Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine."
5 "Affirmative may be justified take from one give to another"
6 "Feelin' fine, he fire won't burn out"
7 "Rockets, moon shots, spend it on the have nots"
8 "I don't remember the last time I could say I was where I wanted to be"
9 "A good night, the best in a long time, A new friend turned me on to an old favourite"
10 "Give me a word, Give me a sign, Show me where to look, Tell what what will I find"
11 "High school seemed like such a blur, I didn't have much interest in sports or school elections, And in class I dreamed all day, About a rock 'n' roll weekend"
12 "Where could I go to escape from you, Break from you?"
13 "Friday morning when she walked out the door, She couldn't take anymore and so she tried to ignore"
14 "Bored in a stable with nothing to do, We make a game of throwing our shoes."
15 "We're the last of the sleepless ones, Left behind by those we left behind tonight."
16 "How the mind does shout for rest, When the bodies shaken, yeah"
17 "Reverend, reverend, Is this a conspiracy?"
18 "Dear God, how have you been then?"
19 "Mary pretends she's so insane, so insane, so insane."
20 "Sleep, and dream of this death angel's kiss..."

The first 10 people who comment on this journal will be featured here, along with three submissions chosen from their gallery by myself.
If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 9 other people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.
(ALSO, YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY HAVE ART DONE BY YOU)

Well, kiddos,
Posted 14 years agoI'd just like to tell you that as of this moment, I've been laid off 'til New Year's Day. So that means little to no money left for Christmas shopping. As such, if you guys want a commish, I'd be willing to cut you a great deal. If I find that your offer is reasonable, I'll take it. I could just use a little extra dough right now.
Thanks in advance if you decide to buy one.

Christmas Wishlist
Posted 15 years agoThe Christmas Wishlist Instructions:
Step 1
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 Christmas wishes.
If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.
Step 2
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true.
1. Fan art of Spike, Lyla, or Daiv.
2. Maybe something off of my Steam wishlist. My steam profile is 'Spens1032.'
3. PS3 games of all kinds. I'm getting a PS3 for christmas and even some cheap ones would be nice. Actually, XBOX and Wii games wouldn't be bad either.
4. Rock music from the 90s. All kinds, so long as it's not Nickelback.
5. Some merch from different comics, maybe even some of the Tales of the Questor volumes.
6. Mark Tremonti's the Sound and the Story DVD.
7. Read my comic, and give me some honest feedback.
8. DA Premium subscription.
9. Cash donations never hurt, it'll help keep me in art supplies.
10. Buying me a commission or doing one as a gift if you're an artist would be GOLDEN.
If you decide to do any of this and need a way to get a hold of me, contact me at Daivof09 at hotmail dot com

There's a couple of bases I'd like to cover...
-I like to keep my art clean of sexuality. Violence is fine, but I don't do smut.
-I don't do gay art. This is for a number of reasons. Mainly, being a straight dude, I don't have any passion to put into it.
-I'd like it if you put a little money up front. Not a necessity, but it would really be appreciated.
-Tips are nice, too. If you go above and beyond, you never know, I might too.

Posted 15 years agoAll prices are USD. Prices here include me mailing you the original drawing (Where applicable) within the US. I'd have to look up rates for international shipping, but I'm a nice guy, I'll try to keep the addons for international shipping as cheap as possible.

I'd also like to point out that I do barter commissions. Games, music, and art supplies are a safe bet. If you have any ideas for things, just send me a note and I'll tell you if I'm interested. For some ideas, you could take a peek at my Amazon wishlist seen here:

In terms of games and music, I really don't care if it's used so long as it works. I'll take old games too. I have pretty much every console between NES and now except for the original XBOX. If you wanna send me anything like that, though, best shoot me a note to make sure I don't already have it.

Where I've been
Posted 15 years ago(Taken from the Guardian Angel Website)
Well, kiddos, I know you're disappointed with me not fulfilling my obligation here. To be honest, I am too. The truth about me not putting out comics as of late is that I've had my schedule drastically overhauled and am still adjusting. I just started working full time, third shift about a week ago. As such, coordinating with my days off, Guardian Angel will now update Mondays. Don't worry. I'll try to have at least one more comic and some bonus material by the end of October.
Sorry for keeping you kiddos waiting,
Spens.

Hurting for dough
Posted 15 years agoI just started a new job, and although the pay is great, it could be up to two weeks til I can get my first check. My last paycheck from McDonalds only totaled to 45 bucks, which'll probably get my by on lunch for the next week, but not much else. As such, I've decided to open up a couple of cheapo commissions. Quantities are limited, but you can't beat a $3 digital drawing.
So for a quick digital drawing of a character and a very simple background, I'm saying 3 smackers. Anyone game?
