Labor Day Weekend
Posted 15 years agoAs this is the weekend where we trash the house and throw tremendous parties under the supposed premise of taking a break from our hard labors, I've been working like a dog cleaning up from said glory outbreaks. As such, there won't be a new Guardian Angel this week.
You know you want one...
Posted 15 years agoFursona Meme
Posted 15 years agoI'd like to point out that I'm sort of torn between two 'sonas right now.
1 – Do you and your "fursona" look alike?
Daiv-Very much so. Medium-long, messy red hair, a wee bit on the beer gut side. Sorta tall.
Chuck-Not as much. Quite tall, fairly well built, short, spiky hair
2 – Do you and your "fursona" share attires?
Very much so for both of them. Daiv appeals more to my metal side, with tight, dark clothing and the eyebrow ring. Chuck is a bit more grunge, with the converse sneakers, plaid shirts often tied around the waist, and ratty jeans and shirts.
3 – Do you share the same sexuality as your fursona?
Chuck and Daiv are both heterosexual, as are most, if not all of my 'brainchildren.'
4 – If you hadn’t already made your fursona look like you, if you were to change how he/she looked, to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?
With Daiv, make him dress more grunge, bulk up his arms a wee bit.
With Chuck, he'd have to be shorter, have longer hair, be a bit chubby, maybe a bit less confident.
5 – Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?
Chuck was a character I dreamed up after reading a few comic strips. A living contradiction of sorts. He seems confident and outgoing, but he's hardcore manic-depressive. I needed someone who could be a frontman-type for my strip, and yet not just be some PWB character.
Daiv has been with me for quite a while. I started him as a Goriya when I was very much a part of the Zelda fandom. He evolved later into a bit different of a character. Lacking in self confidence, quite the smartass, an aspiring rock star, and a hardened freedom fighter. His character probably started in about 2002, maybe earlier.
6 – Do you and your fursona share relationship status?
We're all single, sadly. Chuck may or may not over the duration of the strip find love.
Daiv is a bit of a loner. I dunno if I could write him a girl, or even find a character remotely compatible.
7 – Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don’t like or your partner does?
As long as they're not gay pairings, do what you will. Nothing against homosexuals, but my characters are definitely straight.
8 – How would you like your character not to be used, and How would you like your character used?
See #7. Anything else is fine.
9 – What’s your fursona’s specialty?
Chuck is a rock star, much like myself. He plays guitar like no other. He's not very romantic, not much of a fighter, not the perfect parent (As the strip is gonna show later on.)
Daiv can fight. That's what most of his life was. He's more of my dark, more violent side.
10 – At a score of 1-10 how much are you and your fursona alike?
Chuck-Probably about 5. Guitar and the manic-depressive side are the only real things that I share with him.
Daiv-Closter to about 8. Personality is key. He's not terribly confident, he's a smartass, and he has a real fighting spirit.
