The Trouble With Wolves
Posted 5 years agoTrains Be Gone
Posted 7 years agoENGINE WHO HATED BEING ONE:
From American Indian extermination
to the Nazis' final solution
Trains be gone
From Freudian ejaculation
to global pollution
Trains be gone
From racial discrimination
to orphan generation
riding the Great Depression
Trains be gone
Farmer's dreams driven
and destroyed by a robber baron
Trains be gone
OTHER TRAINS AND LOCOMOTIVES:
Trains be gone?
No books, film or television?
Trains be gone?
No guiding light to salvation?
Trains be gone?
No "think I can" determination?
Trains be gone?
No sentimental swinging sensation?
Trains be gone?
No chugalong soulful expression?
Trains be gone?
No "all aboard" to your final destination?
Trains be gone?
Just scrapyard musuem
full of rust?

Chuggatooga
Posted 7 years agoAll aboard to the big railroad in the sky Chuggatooga where every train and locomotive (be it electric, diesel or steam) help each other and enjoy one another alongside "chugga" critters of all sorts plus the brave men and women of Everlasting Station and Chuggatooga Railroad near Mt. ThinkICan.
The leader of the engines was The Sunlight Express himself Cannonball Jimmy, a golden yellow 4-4-0 steamer named after the late Jimmy Rodgers from Tennessee
and with a smokestack shaped like an engineer's hat
while the leader of the trains (be it passenger/freight cars, boxcars and cabooses) was his wife Casey, a red caboose obviously named after C. Jones from Minnesota who was also the brain behind Jimmy's train with a top shaped like a hat
of the conductor.
Their friends include trains and locomotives from America and around the world like:
Dinah the
down-to-earth Texan
passenger diesel with husband Roy the freight diesel, Goldie the
other golden yellow (if more optimistic and Southern)
steamer with her hubby Ol Stacky who can only talk by whistle and smokestack, Buffy the slick yet energetically
upbeat Californian
passenger electric engine, Betsy the old yet reliable trolley
from Jersey
who only work on the night shift,
Maria, the quirky subway train from NY,
Lizzie the ever classy and witty Brit passenger steamer and her brother Dustin, Capiria the courageous Latino steam engine, Empress
the beautiful and clever Canadian passenger steam train,
Peace the Indian steam engine who rightly earned her position as Chuggatooga's Leader of the International Engines, Honegger, the warmhearted
French
passenger steamer with railgoat engineer Alkan,
Lumbye the intelligent yet affectionate
German streetcar,
Electra the
kind
Japanese passenger electric train, Durango a 4-4-0 steamer from Colorado who takes care of the Old Timers Junction real well, QJ the strong yet gentle Chinese steam engine and Toots their beloved pet whistle with his own set of steam sitting right beside pet train horn Honker and Pearl the enthusiastic loudspeaker.
Jimmy's engineer is Chester the roughest toughest chugga bunny in all of Montana with spouse Brit railfox Ashley who also runs Chuggatooga Station,
their chugga seal friend/conductor Sally
and
other "railimals" (railwolves, railephants, railotyes, chuggaroos, Chester's sleepy-eyed brother Merle-driver of Betsy,
Momma Bunny-owner of Chug Café, Cockney railfox friend
Tillie-
driver of Lizzie, chuggaskunks, Lonnie, the timid yet determined
brother of Ashley/
railfox conducter of Dustin's train, raillions, railtigers, chuggapandas, chuggabear
John-driver of Henry the
proud yet positive
brother steamer from Chicago alongside more brother and sister engines, etc.)
Most adventures at Chuggatooga are of the slice-of-life variety since the old rails
on Earth had all but vanished
after defeating the demon engine Firepit
while serving their boss above with his
engine Starlight the Brit steamer that could. Think of it as a railroad Noah's Ark.
"All aboard to all trains of all sorts for all times and all the live-long days"-Chuggatooga motto
The End
