hello im a decently “new” furry and im still very scared of being open about it and although its hard i think i want to go to my first con! i want to make my own suit and stuff but im scared for many reasons that i wont get too deep into. my partner is a furry and they are the true artist in my relationship and with their help im hoping to really get into the making of it. i like to browse all the different styles and fursonas and i just overall am a creative person and i love different artforms. i used to be artsy myself but i havent felt confident in ages making art ;~; but i see videos constantly on the process and it looks so rewarding in the end to bring your creation to life. recently ive felt very lonely as all my friends live super far and any that were closeby are no longer close or busy with life and i want to be more social but i struggle really hard with going new places ive never been or meeting people. so im hoping a con in my own suit would make me feel more at ease since my face will be concealed and ill be around others who find me to be me. also looking for more welcoming communities if anyone knows any! im lgbtq+ as well. if anyone wants to be friends plz hit me up! id rather not display socials so plz feel free to pm me :) im 21+. i love art, video games, cats, and anime and i am in desperate need of some friends who can deal with my crappy response time xD
