Happy Holidays everyone! I hope you had a nice Yule or Christmas or work day (whichever you prefer). I had a wonderful Christmas this time, many things worked out so I am super extremely happy. :)

So I have been thinking for some time to buy a new tablet because even though my old one works perfectly fine, I was looking into a newer model that wouldn't make my hand tired due to the excessive amount of pressure and zoom in that I needed to use to make anything.

I didn't have money for a Wacom of course :D
Not only because of the price, shipping and customs tax would make it super extra expensive and wouldn't be able to get it anytime soon.

So after browsing for some months and looking at reviews, I decided to purchase a Huion. The model I bought is the H610 Pro and it's their latest model.
I got it for uh $90 USD, worldwide expedited shipping included and a 1 year warranty and since the cost of the tablet is really low, customs didn't charge me extra for it. :>

This tablet has 2048 Pressure Levels and a 10 x 6.25" active area. So the equivalent for this tablet in Wacom would cost over $400 USD xD

I am writing an extensive review about this tablet, pros and cons, hopefully this review can help new artists.
I am using this tablet for a month (maybe a little longer) so that I can configure it and get the best out of it before giving my opinion. :)

Anyways. I also bought a mouse~ A GREEN ONE :DDDD
I didn't have any mouse at all and the buttons on my laptop were not working so I couldn't right click D:

And my amazing sister gave me a tripod for my camera ;; I love it~

I just need to save for a 2 Terabyte disk now and I will be extra happy~ haha (I want to make art videos but my pc can't keep that much info, it has like 25GB left....)
I don't want to buy it here in Mexico because it costs around $140 for a 500 GB one x__x
There is this really nice brand in Amazon which costs $70 for a 2 TB portable disk but only ships to USA xD <- I want to save for this one :D
I don't know how much it'll be of shipping though >:

Sorry guys, I should be finishing the current pending commissions between today and tomorrow, but I need to open a few more slots.

I think Yuuko has Canine Distemper? (or at least the beginning of it) so I am taking her to the vet today to get her treated immediately. (I hope it's really not that, but I heard a rumour at the park that two dogs have it already and I didn't know, and Yuuko has been sneezing a lot since last night and niw she has a little snot >__<)


So I am hoping to get a few extra commissions, It can be like 6 sketch slots or 3 coloured ones, or 1 full digital, whatever comes first will determine how much more I need, I'm not sure how much it costs...

x__x ugh man, I swear this cat has taken easily 4 of his lives already...

I found him in the front yard poisoned, almost dead. We took him to the vet right away and how he's back home two days later. Since he is wild to other people, vets could barely check his cage without not getting my cat to attack them xD

I missed the deadline for the animation scholarship contest, but oh well, there will be more opportuities and my cat is alive and that's all that matters <33

Sorry I haven't been very active lately, I am currently working in Oaxaca (Southern Mexico), I will return to Monterrey on August 4th (back to my traditional commissions :B)

Next weekend I will go to CJMC Comics & Board Games Convention here in my city. However I will not have a table this time. I am helping my friends with their restaurant and will prepare Ramens... because they are short in personnel so... of course I will not wear a maid suit. But if you'd like to pass by and say hello, it would be cool. :D

Just look for the restaurant called "LiJiang" with a bunch of girls dressed as maids and I'll be at the kitchen. ~
