Hey, y’all!
campbellkid here bringing you an update for October’s meet, which will be the last meet of the year, and of my tenure.
The time has come for me. I thought summer moved fast...the years I had running this thing with the help of the other admins have been an absolute blast, and it was an absolute pleasure of my life to see you all there, having fun and sharing smiles and shenanigans. I will miss this. I absolutely will miss this. And I’m sorry about not having any meets since June. So I hope we can make this one (hopefully Halloween themed at the alley) worth it <3
At any rate, this month’s meet will take place in bloomington, on Saturday, october 27th. Dinner will be held at Pizza Ranch, at 7pm, and bowling will occur at Pheasant Lanes, as always, at 9pm, after dinner.

Posted 7 years ago campbellkid here, just wanted to apologize for not updating this for a while, and for not hosting a meet this month. A lot has been happening, for every admin of this group and not just me, and we’ve been focusing more on that. I know that i’ve got a lot in my plate, and a lot to get accomplished in the next couple of months, and I’ve been putting my time and energy into that. There will be a meet for September, don’t worry. But, I just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update on where we are.On a different note, i’ll be stepping down from my admin role for the group effective December, 2018. It’s been a fun ride, but I’ve just gotta focus more on other things, and the fact that I plan on moving when my lease ends kinda makes it hard for me run things here. Feel free to let me know if you wanna help out with things; i’d love to get to talk to ya! TG is SoupCampbell30

July Meet

This month we're going to be doing a hike on July 29th at Matthissen State Park!
Soup is out of the state so he left me in charge.
We'll be meeting at 9am at the McDonalds in El Paso (664 W Main St, El Paso, IL 61738) and convoy to the park from there which is up by Starved Rock. We might even go there after Matthessen if people are up for it.
Afterwards go to the DQ for Blizzards!
This month we're going to be doing a hike on July 29th at Matthissen State Park!

First off, I apologize for the delay; was busy graduating and on vacation for the past week, essentially, so this completely slipped my mind x.x
Regardless, this month’s meet will be held on Saturday, May 26th. Dinner will be at Pizza Ranch, at 7pm, and once that’s complete, we’ll be heading to Pheasant Lanes for bowling! Bowling will take place at 9pm :3
As always, no suit/suit accessories (tails, ears, paws, etc) are to be worn for dinner; That’s saved for bowling. As for bowling, if we get some corner lanes, suiting should be fine. If it’s packed and we get lanes in the middle of the alley, suiting, more the most part, will not take place, mainly because it just wouldn’t be feasible. That’s the sad part about having one main alley in town :p

Which sucks; we just came out of a 4 month hiatus, have a good time in January, and then off for another month. So, really sorry for that :/

August Meet!
Posted 8 years ago campbellkid here...late as always. Got a couple updates:1. There will be an August Meet! It will be held on August 26th (this Saturday, apologies for the extreme delay). Dinner will be held at Slim Chickens, which is located at 1515 N Veterans Parkway, Bloomington, IL, and will begin at 7pm. Per usual, we ask no badges, no suits, no tails/paws/etc for dinner.
Bowling will take place at 9pm at Pheasant Lanes, located at 804 N Hershey, Bloomington, IL. Suits are welcome there!
2. This will be my last meet for the year, and perhaps the last one I take charge of. I'm leaving for Tahoe City for an internship to complete my degree, and don't know when or if I'll take charge of this thing again once I get back. It has yet to be determined. But it's been a fun year with you all, it truly has <3

Posted 8 years ago campbellkid just comin to tell you what you probably already know lolI meant to get this journal out earlier, but it kept slipping my mind. There's just a whole bunch of things goin on, a bunch of moving parts, and a bunch of unavailable admins lol
So, as a result, we're gonna go ahead and skip this meet (which I personally don't think is a bad thing) and we'll try to make it up early-mid November.
Any Bs and Cs (bitches and complaints) can be directed at the guy linked above (das me :D) either thru an FA Note, or on Telegram: my handle is SoupCampbell30. I'll be more than willing to listen to any and all things that people have to say. You got open ears and with this guy, I promise you that.

March meet!
Posted 8 years ago campbellkid here!I dearly apologize for the wait for the journal. I had drill, and that rolled into spring break, which was spent moving out into my new place, and that felt like it took up all my time and energy and...long story short, I've been busy x.x
ANYWHO, this month's meet will be held on Saturday, April 1st. (This is because of the delay of my own, it wouldn't be fair to only give you 5 days notice). We'll be going to chipotle for dinner, and then head to the bowling alley for bowling/mini golf/arcade/etc.; it'll be fun :D
Dinner will be held at 7:30, and then we'll mosey on over to the alley at around 9:00 pm.

Posted 8 years agoHey, Soup here. If you were at the meet last month, you would've heard a possibility of doing an "Escape the room" event before dinner and bowling. Well, I need a hard count of those wanting to attend.

FIRST OFF, there's the link to the site ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ different rooms have a different cap on how many people can play at a time, so if we get an excess of people, we'd have to do multiple rooms. It looks like the cost of this is 28 bucks per person, so that's another factor in whether or not you want to do this.
YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS. You do not have to do this; I just think that'd it'd be fun for those who have the time and can afford to do it.
SECOND: I NEED A HARD COUNT BY FEBRUARY 13TH. That's a Monday. Dinner can be decided upon later by our admins, but for this, I need a physical hard count by Monday, February 13th. This allows me to look at booking options and determine the cost.
THIRD: I need you guys to, if you are coming, vote on the room you want to do. Truth be told, they're all fun. So even if you go and can't do the one you want, you still should be able to have a good time :3

Posted 8 years agoYo, soup here. Apologies for the very late update (school's a bitch sometimes...and so is my memory >.>), but because league night is happening during our scheduled meet, we're going to push bowling back to 9:30pm!!

Dinner will still be at 7:30, you can show up whenever. I can show up for about 30 minutes (for dinner break), but I won't be at dinner for the entire time because of work. I will, however, be there for bowling :3

Dinner will still be at 7:30, you can show up whenever. I can show up for about 30 minutes (for dinner break), but I won't be at dinner for the entire time because of work. I will, however, be there for bowling :3

Anywho, it'a your favorite bowl of soup, campbellkid here, bringing another update for our local meet :D
This meet will take place uhh...uhm...*throws a dart at the calendar* Saturday, January 28th :3 dinner will take place at 7:30pm at Pizza Ranch, and then we'll head on down to the bowling alley at 9:30pm afterwards (Pheasant Lanes).

Posted 9 years agoIt's with a heavy heart that I have to announce this...but unfortunately, we have lost someone near and dear to our hearts.
Quasiskunk tragically passed away in a car accident Tuesday evening.
This event has left many, many people in shock and disbelief, and has been felt throughout the fandom, and especially here, close to home.

ANYWAY. There's not really a whole lot of new things going on, so I'll get right to it:
This month's meet, which will be our LAST MEET OF THE YEAR (*GASP*), will be held on Saturday, October 29th. We will, once again, be meeting at Hooters (woo!) for dinner. We will then migrate to Pheasant Lanes for bowling.
As you all know: no tails, suit parts, etc will be worn during dinner. Suits ARE allowed, and encouraged, at bowling though, so bring it if you got one :3
Dinner will be held at 7pm, and the address is as follows:

This month, seeing how it'll be the same weekend of IFC, we're just gonna do a simple meet up, which will be dinner and bowling; no suits, no badges, no tails, etc. we're just gettin together, having some eats, and maybe have a beer or two while we bowl, play mini golf, or hit the arcade. Just gonna keep it simple this month, and we'll get back at it in September :3

Our meet, as the admins decided, will be held on Saturday, July 16th. Dinner will be held at the same Moe's as last time, and will begin at 7:30pm. Bowling will also be held at the same venue (Pheasent Lanes), and will begin at 9pm. Suits are not allowed for dinner, but they ARE allowed for bowling! (Just don't act a fool in 'em, okay? We're still building our credit with this place lol)
AT ANY RATE, this weekend does, sadly, interfere with Laffball and Laffbowling. I will be attending Laffball and Laffbowling for a time being, and will try to make it down in time to catch the end of our bowling meet.

Anywho, the big news is: WE WILL BE WEARING FURSUITS THIS MONTH! That's right; we will be wearing fursuits for this meet, so hopefully, all goes well, and people at the lanes love us :3
At any rate, we will be eating at Moe's again. The address is as follows:
