Really bad news ! Save up for a new computer!
Posted 10 years agoHey guys... Right after I got better from my food poisoning, my laptop decided to take its last breath...
it's been a nice five years with my macbook pro... Sighs.
So as much as my parents would love to pay for me for a new computer (I want to get an iMac this time since they last longer + screen is larger for my squinty eyes), I don't want them to pay for anything.
I want to use my own money to purchase my own computer this time! Gotta adult up D:
Will be contacting all the commissioners that I still owe pixel art to!
This will probably take like 2 months or more to save up for one...
Will be opening all my traditional commissions soon! I apologise for the inconvenience!

Posted 10 years agoHey guys! So I got food poisoning from Mcdonald's maple poutine yesterday and threw up everywhere this morning. Also have trouble with bowel movements WELP.
The doctor told me to lay low for a while to recover...wehh.
I'm just saying this incase there will be a delay in finishing up art for you guys! I will still try to do the best I can to work on things.
I'll be messaging all my commissioners if things get too severe, but for now, this notice is just a "just incase you've been wondering about progress".
ANYWAYS, hope all of you have been well!
I also ordered a whole ton of clay making stuff, so hopefully I can show off some of that when I make something.

I love pixel icons! Is there anything that you guys recommend/suggest I do for future pixel icons? I can do minimal animation, but am willing to take up the challenge to do more complex animations!
Also! I will be putting together summer pixel icons sheet soon! I hope to finish it by mid June!

Just had to update some drives and try restarting the machine over and over again haha.
So I will be contacting each person that wanted their piece delivered individually! Also, scanned pieces will be uploaded soon and a link sent to those that ordered one!

So grad show is over now! I'm finishing up some things I owe right at this moment.
I've had some ups and downs with my family and I do realize that I do not love my parents enough. It's been a rough for the past few days because I had to nail down some ideas into my thick skull.
Transitioning into an adult is not easy.
I sat down and wrote down a schedule for the next 4 months. If I want to finish up stuff, I need to plan my work accordingly. So for now, bare with me while I finish up my list of to-do things (as seen under this journal).
When I open up a website of my own + a patreon, I will update with a journal again!
Hope you all have been well!

So now it's time for me to put together my donuts and fix up a website, my social media places and just spam donuts everywhere. I CAN FINALLY MAKE A PATREON AND TURN EVERYONE INTO A KAWAII.
After I fix everything up, I'll maybe open up commissions again. Or maybe I'll never open them up. WILL BEGIN WORKING on art full time. This ma job.

So I decided to discontinue the sketch iron artist slots! There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest for some reason? Hmmm.. and I also want to start monochrome marker slots soon haha, that's why.

So after I finish the remaining sketch slots, I will be messaging everyone who wanted their piece to be shipped!

Been really sick lately, I don't even know how it happened. Probably the curry noodle soup I ate on wednesday ruined my throat... and then it went downhill from there.

Posted 10 years agoOkaayyy- so I'm back from Furnal Equinox... I only attended for a day and it was a VERY interesting experience.
The atmosphere is definitely waaaayy not what I expected (I've been to Anime North and FanExpo before).
Everyone is very friendly... like VERY FRIENDLY wow. It was also my first time having a table, well not in the dealer's den, but at one of the free tables.
i tabled with artrica/jiayi :3 She was well prepared in comparison to me!
So.. I'm already feeling after-con effects, aka, REALLY TIRED. WOW, sorry for the inactivity.. trying to recover from completing like 7 commissions in 6 hours.
THANKS FOR THOSE WHO CAME TO MY TABLE, even though I was embarrassing and a noob lol.
Will definitely be tabling next year! Will think about offering pre-made badges + more options for on-site commissions!

So I'm graduating soon.. but I need some extra money BECAUSE MAN, school sucked up almost all of my money: school supplies, tuition, transportation money, and food welp.
I find that I could maybe host one YCH per week? Or maybe one every other two weeks?
Here are things that I want to try, do tell me which ones you want to see and I'll put a little "X" behind it (if they are not listed here, feel free to suggest ones too):
1) Pokemon Piles (Espeon, Glaceon, Flareon) (No AB) XX
2) Cosplay YCHs (Puzzle and Dragons/Brave Frontier/Other Games?) XX
3) Pin-up Beach/Sailor Themes (Limited Palette, so cheaper price) X
4) Cune's OC combo YCHs (so your charas interacting with mine and stuff...) X
I will offer chibi YCHs too with these themes just so that everybody can have a chance! So so?

Anyways, back to the killer school. Got 3 more months of education and I'm done 5ever.
I finally finished all of the iron aritst slots (except for some because waiting for refs).
I will aim to finish all YCH slots that I still owe next. I honestly wish I had more time for art, like I keep saying, but school and God come first.
Hope you guys have been well? YEH. (btw, I totally pooped out on the streams that I was supposed to do. So sorry, I'm such a butt like that. You can forever tickle my nose with duck feathers).
