I've tried all this week plus three times today to write some kind of con report, yet I can't seem to do it without coming off ... ... ... like an idiot. I still feel like I need to post something...

MFF was cool. Got to see a bunch of celeberties within the fandom (Kage, 2, Kenket, Kyell Gold, all the popular fursuiters, etc). Though I completely agree with the general rule of going to a con with a friend or group of friends. Would have been much funner to have someone to hang with for most of the weekend.

*Felt bad for Gir who was DJ'ing Thursday during the first hour. Everyone was stuck in line at registration during his time slot...

*It was fun seeing a lot of the MI furs I knew. I'm looking forward to the December local meets.

*Big thanks to Tyzin. I really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with you. The con might have been a bust, if I hadn't, as I was having a pretty crappy Saturday... which probably would have spilled over into my short, Sunday morning... speaking of which...

*I regret having to leave early on Sunday (left at 12:30pm). It sounds like Sunday evening was blast.

Well, I'm happy to say I was wrong. I always thought going to a concert would suck. Way too many people, with music way too loud, bad food, all for way too much money...

So concidering the concert was free (including food), was a private concert for employees only (less people than normal), and I got to choose a seat further away (music not overly loud), I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I enjoyed myself.

The meet was a blast! I had a great time. Thanks for the hospitality Damaron and Koinu! I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again at MFF... which I can now say I'm going to, since I got my vacation approved today at work. XD

I know I wanted to post a bunch of stuff about Artprize, but I don't want to worry about all the copyright protection issues... That and Uncharted 2 is sitting in my PS3 calling my name. XD

I can't believe I'm getting as excited for this as I am. Considering I live in Grand Rapids, I really have no excuse not to participate. That being said, I think I'm going to use FA as a journal to post about all the amazing art I see and my thoughts on them.

Not that anyone is going to see it... meh. XP
