Yes, today we speak of Familiars: those real-life companions who inspire our art, share our space, our time, and sometimes our sandwiches.

The Painted Drake isn't just some Discord Group or an Art Server like any of the other hundreds you may come across. No, TPD is an ever-evolving RPG Art Experience! In a world where even succeeding too hard can have world-altering consequences, you'll want to choose your actions carefully! But don't worry, no matter what, the players always win. (The characters, not so much...)

🌋 Accidentally let a volcano destroy a town because nobody finished the Bulfe quest.
We don't blame anyone… but like they are all dead, so maybe don't let that happen again. Even lack of action drives the story, so don't worry, there'll always be something new to experience and discover, even when you take a break!

🐟 Fish up cryptids so disturbing the coastline started whispering back.
Interestingly enough, the human lips and teeth are the only part of that fish that wasn't concerning. That part is normal for fish. The massive glowing eye and writhing guts, not so much.

She promises to use your soul wisely… if she could just remember where she put it…

And you know what that means? It means you get to:

You don’t have to be a pro. You don't have to interact constantly for the story to continue to unfold. Even if you're not feeling a full artwork right now, regular votes will still ensure you get to have a say in which Quest outcomes become canon. Just be ready to matter, and be ready to write a story bigger than yourself … because the Bulfe's of the world aren't waiting. Why are you?

Hi, so I know species aren't as big a thing in here as they are on DA (or are they??) But I wanted to share a species I've been working on called TechnaKoss. We've already gotten through the Alpha Phase, and gotten a lot of good work done on the species. It's been amazing, and we've now opened a Beta Phase to help us figure out the ARPG and roleplay aspect, as well as to fine tune the other aspects of the species. We're releasing a half-price limited build. First come first serve. Getting on Discord will be required to participate in the beta build, since the purpose is to further develop the species and fine tune it, and you'll undoubtedly have questions. Ok, so, I've been posting my art more often on FA, and even though I don't consider myself a furry artist........ except for the fact that anthros are more likely to be drawn than humans, but ignore that...

I find myself not wanting to post to Deviantart. I have a lot of good people in my watchers over there, and a lot of work that I've done to make my groups and stuff which I don't think you can really do over here on FA, there's a very high sense of... detachment? Like, once you get to a certain point, you stop being able to actually connect with your fanbase, and I don't know if that's because of DA's setup, the number of watchers I have, or whatever else, but it really does seem like stuff's a little off over there.

Does anyone else have that feeling, or have anything to add about that?

Each of my adopts is unique, and made with a lot of thought and love. I'm always getting better, and I'm always up for critique or suggestion.

Here are my adoptable rules:

Please tag and credit me on the first drawing of your new character. I wanna see how they look in your style!

You may make minor changes to design, but please keep it recognizable. You're buying a character I made, and if you change a lot of it, it won't be the character I was selling anymore.

You may maime, clothe, change gender, etc freely, but again, please keep the image recognizable! (If there is doubt as to what is acceptable, you can send me a sta.sh file and I will let you know~!

You may sell the design for more than bought if it comes with art, but upon selling must credit me as the creator.

I do not generally do "base adopts", but if you see an adopt where you love it, but would like to see in a different color, or would like me to make a custom, I can do that for an extra $8.00
