Hey yall!

Giving a shout out to let yall know I'm not dead. Actually I've been very active and I've been all about dat prop building and fursuit building. I'm still doing art, just on the paper variety and I'll upload my sketches I've had so much fun making.

Also, I may or may not have posted this before but I do have another character. Her name is Mercury and she is a Toxic Tiger created by Calico Cougar and who is making the partial to her as well. I've been having too much fun with her and developing her, so she may be a bit more dominant than my Boat, but fear not, Jolt is still stomping the Thunder Love.

RMFC is closing in and I can't wait until I show her off. There will be many pics and many many hijinx to be had.

So, I made Violentz Jolt partial! My sweet boat had a blast at RMFC this year! Yes, I finally made it to the con. I had so much fun fursuiting but god its been so long since I mascoted last. I heated up rather quickly. Needless to say the Headless Lounge was my best friend.

It was so unreal to see famous and popular peeps and furs in person. 2 the Ranting Gryphon is freakin' tall... I felt the dark stare in the elevator...*shudders*

I had my share of photos and hugs, but I felt so awkward, I kinda laid low this con just to get a hold of the ropes. I've never been on my own at a con before. I'll post more stuff on RMFC tomorrow, as it's late and I have to work in the morning.

Long time no update XD; So in short, I didn't go to RMFC, the person I was going with wasn't able to go, I stayed home to rest up. I slept the whole weekend - exhaustion woo!

I held off on finishing Java's head due to his personal reasons, but I'm finishing it now for my lack of finishing cosplays for an anime con X3. I need to order more white fur for myself so I can work on my own partial.

While working on my friends' feline partial, I've been watching youtube channels at random, looking at other felines of all kinds to understand a felines headshape. Don't laugh, but for some odd reason I can make just about any creature BUT a feline anything! That's when I came across a fur [ala ROKO PANTHER] who was showing off her partial and her swag of shirts and bandanas. One of which really got my attention, but I don't know why. I found out it was from Kitty Loves Monster and thought OMG have to have one-only to find out they had closed months before.

I was a little sad at this, but I missed my chance and so was life. Then last night, checking my FA I saw KLM posted those bandanas again and upon review, were selling them, as they were leftovers from their days of being open. I had to jump on this chance and voila!- I am now expecting 2 bandanas in the mail soon!

...now I'm feeling kind of funny. I've never been this jazzed over something before. Granted I'm not a furry [crafter/seamstress] but I have friends who are, I'm beginning to wonder. Anyway I won't drabble on, I know that I'll get amazing 'yea or nay' responses and I don't want to start a fight.

Plus, the friend I was making the partial for, Java Bean, just told me his RMFC weekend request off has finally been approved at his work! So we can totally go to the Con together! We're both really excited to go as we've been trying to go since 2012! I can't wait-its in 3 months though, so I better step on it with his partial if I hope to wear mine. He's a paying customer though, so he's higher priority than I am. If I can't get my Boat partial done in time, I'll probably end up making a hoodie with the boat features on it, wearing one of my awesome new bandanas while I'm at it.

Today's my birthday and I had a fun break from making suits. I keep pushing back my boat sketches but I have some interesting news with that.

Firstly, I got my awesome first con badge, courtesy of Matrices of Matrices.net and let me just say...that I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! I can't wait to wear it to my first con, and its spurring me on to get my partial started. I better if I want to get it done before the con in August. My birthday went really well, and the badge, along with the postage stamp on the envelope, made it end on a great note.

Secondly, the two boats that I made, Spyral and Violentz Jolt, have... taken an interesting turn. I don't know how it happened but the two just seemed to mesh together. Violentz personality and marks meshed with Spyrals color patterns and BAM. Violentz Jolt has become the Electric Lime Boat of the Nation. Figure that out XD

I hope to post pics soon of the partials I'm working on. I got the footpaws done on the feline suit, the head finally coming to a close, I just need to fur it really. The hand paws and tail are last. My own boat partial I haven't started yet, but I'm hoping too once I get the feline finished.

So, I've been working on the partial for my friend when 2 nights ago some hot glue ran off the foam I was using to mold his foot paws and long story short, I have a 2nd degree burn. Right on my thumb. I'm gonna be slow building this thing. It smarts, but I'm still working on it! Doing furring on the footpaws today!

Between Boat designs that I can't seem to make up my mind on, I've taken up a challenge. A good friend of mine is rather low because a life long friend of his turned his back on him, So to cheer him up we're planning to go to a FurCon, like he always wanted to, so he can unwind and relax.

I'll admit, I'm still kinda new to the fandom, I don't see myself as a furry but I love to dress up. I believe they call it mascoting? I could be wrong there. Still, the challenge is to build my friend a partial for the Con in August. Challenge Accepted!

Well guys, I've been still at it, drawing and designing and now on a tablet! I'm still trying to get used to a stylus so my new design for Spyral looks a bit whack XD I think for Violentz I'm going to give her spikey tipped ears!

In the meantime, I'm making Paw Stockings for my boyfriend and my little kitty, pictures to come there!

Tonight I finished a rough sketch of the new boat I talked about eons ago! She's modeled after my fun and cheeky side. Spyral will be getting made over soon, however. Shortly I'll be posting the rough sketch and revealing her name too! Note: the sketch doesn't have inked lines and is still in pencil, so pardon the greyscale!

So I've been working on the new art for Spyral and a new Boat, but I'm still new to drawing any animal period. I can't get the nose porportions right _-_

I used to draw animals big and small since I was a kid. Then I stop for a long while then I forget everything. I am SO lame sometimes XD I'm gonna keep trying!

Well, after much thought and much strength. Spyral is going through some changes and a new design. She will still be a Key Lime boat, but she will be going through a make over and a name change! More to come!

So many furs and mascots out there are actually very nice and very confident! it makes me happy to see them or talk to them! Gives me a bit of a boost as well! I think I'm going to design another boat, with more confidence and freedom! Spyral isn't that bad but this one screams party!

Well I uploaded Spyral's outline almost a week ago, and since then I've been attempting to color it.

I plan on making a partial at least of her, so, I'm testing color schemes. Unfortunately for me the version of photoshop I'm using is running as if I'm using a 32 bit OS, when I'm actually running a 64 bit so the colors don't want to be as vibrant as I want them to be =_=;;

I'm trying my hand at for digital art for the first time. I haven't used photoshop or anything in a long long while. Plus, I have no digital tablet so I drew it old school on paper and scanned it in. Something I know people hate because it isn't 'vector' and 'vector' is the only thing that makes the world go round... bleh. I hope to upload the face soon.
