Hey, everyone, just a heads-up. Papa Microsoft has decreed that the Skype API will be discontinued coming December 31st, which means that Trillian will stop working with it. This means that I either have to have Trillian and Skype open, discontinue my use of Yahoo/AIM/Google Talk, or discontinue my use of Skype.

I'm opting for the latter. If you solely use Skype, this is going to present a HUUUGGGEEE problem to our ability to talk. :c Just... ffffs.

Options I see are:
- Add my on Google Hangouts (for many Android 4.x users this is a breeze and behaves a little like iMessage). Note me for my contact info and I can also include instructions on how to enable certain features. If you add me on this, I WILL LOVE YOU FOR EVER AND HAVE YOUR BABIES.
- Text Me - Note me for my phone number if you don't already have it.
- Friend me on Facebook (Note me, again, for details) I'll only accept requests from non-furry accounts. :p
- Add me on Steam, my username is Artiantil
- STOP USING MICROSOFT'S CRAPPY CLIENT FFFFS >:C

The reason I don't solely use Skype like most people seem to is because I don't like Skype for Linux since it's tremendously outdated and I don't like how data heavy Skype for Android is. It puts me in a tough spot to run the client, and I'm frankly baffled at how many people like Skype to begin with.

Anyway, feel drop a message if you feel like this is going to be a problem. Sorry Microsoft is a poop. .-. Just wanna chat with people, dammit.

According to the licensing for Skype, it is not legal to use the Skype protocol in open-source software. That means Microsft-owned Skype is specifically targeting their competition in the open-source realm, while their Skype client has been becoming increasingly more shitty to use on Linux. If you talk to me currently on Skype, I'd suggest finding a new avenue by which to talk to me, since I'm considering switching off my Skype account for good. Also doesn't help that they completely blocked out imo-messenger, and I don't feel like wasting my battery life on another IM client running on my phone. Not worth it for their shitty Android client.
