I have been hinting at a possibility of an event for a month now, and I believe the time has come. I will make a separate journal or post with full details on that, but I will drop more information now. I'm going to be hosting a raffle for custom characters! I was originally going to have 5 slots, but since it's been put off so long, I am going to increase the slots to 8. Along with that, I might throw in a few adoptables that will be also in the raffle. The raffle will probably start sometime this week.

Also, I might start streaming! I want to attempt it but my internet is not the greatest. Does anyone have any platform suggestions? I've streamed youtube before but I don't really want to do youtube again right now.

Other than that, I think thats all I had to say. I'm honestly tired as hell and can't think straight. Why do I always make journals right before I go to sleep? Anyways, I'll post art tomorrow

my family is starting to play a game i started called 'get neigh neighed' where someone places a certain horse figure around the house and whoever finds it gets neigh neighed and has to now place the figure elsewhere. i am on the lookout and my grandpa is the placer currently. he is good at this i havent found it yet

its been a rough month, but i think my room is finally getting finished up. the repair guy said maybe i can move back in on saturday, but i'm not too certain i believe that. even so, it shouldnt be too much longer. as soon as i move in my commissions will start up again along with the 30 watchers event i had planned. im so ready. i want to post art again.

spent time with my adopted horse yesterday we r friends

im volunteering at a horse stables now and theres this one horse that is so neglected and essentially abandoned. this horse is so sweet too she just wanted to come out of her stall and hang out but she cant ride because her hind legs are essentially lame. idk why shes being treated like this she has braids in her hair that have essentially turned to dreadlocks and shes just so horny for attention (for lack of a better word) my leader said it is okay for me to work with her, clean her up, and bond with her and she kinda said that she is my job. i feel like i basically adopted her since nobody else is taking care of her right >:l idk im kinda fixating expect horse art at some point

also construction update shits goin smoothly got new floorboaards and a new wall idk wat else to say tbh

also also dog update were worried again woops she has shit aall over her ass and maybe blood what the fuck monday we have another vet visit

going to keep trying to make art despite my setbacks somehow have no idea how (and have it not suck) bot whatevr

1. mental health dropping a bit with a lack of stability and privacy lately. also back pain ensues. str8 up not having a good time. miss doing things here a lot. made me happy.

the vet said it was some sort of benign tumor, something to do with an oil gland or something. he told me that it wont be necessary to be removed but if i wanted to remove it it would cost near 600 dollars. i definitely do not have that money (i barely had enough for the exam) and its not necessary and it doesnt seem to bother her too much so i guess ill keep an eye on it for now. just glad i have peace of mind now.

also construction update: my repair guy is back somewhat, probably next week or so im assuming he will start construction again. im still trying to find ways to draw/post my art in the meantime. honestly yall might just get sketchbook sketches for the next month or so :l i have a new fursona idea that i really wanna make good art of > i dont even know where my pens are in my boxes it sucks it sucks it sucks i miss art and my room so bad . hopefully i will post soon :(

hello it has been a week and i have heavily underestimated the time it was going to take for construction to finish. my repair guy is going in for surgery soon and is currently quarantining. i have not drawn anything since last week. im going to assume around like another month until it is finished. i dont know where my laptop is either. i miss being around here and posting and i really really want to do that event. im gonna find my laptop or find *some* way to draw and post in the meantime.

if anyone was worried about my pet illnesses theyre going to be okay, my bird is fine now and i booked a vet appointment for my dog. the lump doesnt seem any worse than before but i do think its infected. theyll be ok

anyways im just checking in maybe ill talk again next time i can post

tl;dr: construction happening, computer wont be on, no/less art than usual (might be on sometimes though) maybe periodic updates?

long ass version:
my repairman is going to be working in my room for the next week or so, and he told me that i need to essentially clean out my room (which includes my workstation and computer) i dont have anywhere where i can put my computer, have it plugged in, and be comfy enough to draw. i *could* possibly use my laptop and be on my bed (which will be in the living room) but im not sure if i will for certain yet. either way uploads will be temporarily slowed or stopped until my computer can be properly put back where it was. with this i dont think it will be wise to start any events/requests/commisions/etc etc until then either. i dont think i owe anyone any art but if i do ill find some way to do it. i'm going to be on my chromebook and check here periodically, but i do not think i will post. sorry this construction has been needed to be done essentially since i moved in here (it has been a long ass time) i hope it will be over soon, i'll post updates if yall want them but otherwise :l see ya'll on the other side, im gonna start moving my bed now

it is going to be a raffle with 3 opportunities for winners to get a custom character design by me. if you win i will note you and then you will choose the species, colors, features, etc. and i will make a small front/back reference sheet. when its done (give me a couple days, week tops) i will post it here, mention you there, and also note you to make sure you see it. that character is then yours and you can do whatever you want with it

if you don't win dont worry if this goes well i plan on doing these semioften, also you will get more entries with seniority (if you are part of the first 25 watchers you get two tickets this time) there will be plenty of opportunities for people to win :)

owed art (if i need to pay with art for something, i usually dont do this but im thinking about it)
1st requesters
event things
1st art trade (then 2nd, 3rd, so on)

eaxch category goes by first come first serve (in case of events like raffles its whichever numbers get picked first - last)

im thinking about making the queue in my bio so everyone knows whats up and when they're next but im uncertain if i will remember to update it often (but i hope it will be accurate)

i wanna do so many events its gonna be so cool i cant wait and i hope you guys participate in them :0 i mean its just more opportunity for art so hell yeah participate
