Hello, it’s been a while! I hope everyone is staying safe in these unprecedented times!

I don’t want to get into too much detail about my long absence; I’ve been trying to balance out the different aspects of my life (health, financial, education, social); as a result my art and general online activity has been pretty minimal, which I felt was for the best. With the current situation I’m having more free time so I wanted to try and reincorporate these things back (art was relatively constant but usually only sketches).

I’m not certain if I’m going to be very active on here just because my general drawing subjects don’t tend to really be anthro/furry things (more humans and animals). I’m gonna try to be relatively consistent in posting art stuff to both Twitter and Instagram. If you still want to see what I’m doodling feel free to follow me on either (any nsfw will be exclusive to Twitter) These would additionally be the best platforms to contact me. My memory isn’t great so I’m not certain if I possibly left something unresolved regarding commission work or anything like that (I’m not planning to open them again any time soon, but if arrangements were negotiated beforehand I’ll try to work something out.)

What are some of yours?

- when cheetahs don't look like cheetahs

- when jaguars have leopard spots or vice-verse (it's actually pretty easy to tell the difference; a jaguar's rosettes are much larger and have black spots in the center)

- when rabbits have pawpads (I've had rabbits, they don't xD)

- when rabbits have bent 'half-lop' ears (I've had a half-lop rabbit, their ears look like this, which is way cuter imo. You'll really only see the bending ears in breeds like Angoras because their ear floof is so heavy)

- not being able to tell if a canine is a wolf, dog, fox, coyote, etc.

- when hooved animals have the entire digits of their fingers the hoof part (I just don't understand how they could bend them?)

- when people tag hyenas as canines asfsfdNO they're hyaenidaes. It's more accurate to label them as felines since they're of the suborder Feliformia

- when people forget that perineums exists (AKA butt-balls)

- when there's really no distinct break from fur to dick and it's just a gradient. I do see that it has an appealing look, but in the case of furred animals I don't really get it (does their shaft have hair on it or what)

- just poor anatomy in general (I'll admit I can't look at some of my old art without cringing because the anatomy is so fucking weird in some of them. Especially how I drew rib cages, they looked like a second set of boobs)

I've always been curious as to why people choose specific animals, like if there's always been a lifelong affiliation or some significant even, etc! So why is your fursona whatever animal they are?

As for myself, I just always liked big cats :u but that was probably cemented from my early art days on TLKFAA. I love chees because they're so different from any other feline species (while often considered 'big cats', they're not under the Panthera genus); they're actually pretty dog-like in some aspects (historically it was contestable if they should be felids under Linnaean classification). In the wild they're also kind of the underdogs on their predatory hierarchy and are easily pushed around, since they're meant for running and not fighting; I guess I can relate to that xD

In order to kick back into the swing of things, I've decided I'm gonna do a free art raffle :)

How It Works:

So there will be three winners chosen at random that will receive a free art piece! The only catch is you have to make a journal post linking back to this and keep it up for the duration of the raffle. (to help get the word out so y'know, it's not just only three people participating)

Hey all,

As one might imagine, trying to start an account back up that's been abandoned for 3+ years hasn't been easy. I'm at the point where I'm become a little lost in the whole thing.
So for like, the six or seven people who are aware I didn't die and/or fall into oblivion, I guess it might be reassuring to have some input on what kind of art content they wish to see from me. Some more diverse anthro species (I know I'm a pretty big cheetah ho)? More saucy/porn content? More girls? More masculine guys? Character designs? Uhm...fetish stuff? I'm just here spit-balling.

I know it's been a while; the abbreviated version is I had a burn out with art and have been preoccupied with my health, education, etc. Now that my spring semester is over I'm gonna try to devote my summer to getting back into the art scene again. Mine is the cheetah, though that might've been obvious. I just love everything about them, how they're the underdog predator and are very nervous little things. I love the sounds they make (cubs sound like birds and it's too adorable, not to mention they can purr!) How cubs have those big ol puffy mantles of fur, how they are very different from other cats (they are sort of like the dogs of the big cats, their overall behavior is pretty dog like, which is why some captive cheetahs are raised with dogs to overcome anxiety) And despite the fact they are not considered truly social cats like the lion, brothers will usually stay together for life in coalition groups, and sometimes even unrelated males will band together.
