Post FC '08
Posted 17 years agoOk so FC 2008 is over and I managed to make it out in one piece. I met several new furs which I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with, not the least of which was Atpaw, Rainhopper, Alexroo, and Waggs. I also got a chance to catch up with several furs that I hadn't ween for some time. A few since my last trip to the USA two and half years ago and some since I moved to Perth last year.
All in all I had a great time, the hotel was great, the events and panels where so much fun. F.N.L. or Furry Night Live was probably the most fun I've had since watching the Red Bull race back in November. I managed to get some great art in the form of sketches, commissions, and badges. (Pictures will be uploaded as soon as I find the time to scan everything.)
I'm really looking forward to coming back for FC in 2009, catching up with everyone again and laughing my tail off again at some of the on and offstage antics that seem to pop up around the place. Also looking forward to making some more new friends.
So to everyone that I met, those I didn't get a chance to meet, and those that organized such a brilliant event thanks very very much.

At the end of the year surveys begin....and now is a good time to reflect on the happenings of the last 12 months...
1) Where did you begin 2007? Back in Queensland working for almost zero dollars, but doing a job I enjoyed.
2) What was your status by Valentine's Day? Single and not particularly bothered about it
3) Were you in school (anytime this year)? Nope
4) How did you earn your money? Doing the same thing I do now, teaching people to fly airplanes
5) Did you have to go to the hospital? Nope, but my sister did
6) Did you have any encounters with the police? Aside from the usual random breath testing, nope.
7) Where did you go on holidays? Went back home to visit family.
8) What did you purchase that was over $1,000? Well my new laptop which was just over $2000.
9) Did you know anybody who got married? Nope
10) Did you know anybody who passed away? Yes, one of my pilot mate's passed away from cancer.
12) Did you move anywhere? Boy did I ever, I moved from Brisbane on the East coast of Aus to Perth on the West coast (about the distance from LA to New York)
14) What concerts/shows did you go to? None
15) Are you registered to vote? Absolutely, it's big fines if you aren't
16) Who did you want to win Big Brother? Never watched it
17) Where do you live now? Perth West Australia, right next to the Swan River
18) Describe your birthday? Hot and rainy day in January
19) What's one thing you thought you'd never do but did in 2007? Get staff discounts on airline travel
20) What has been your favorite moment? Possibly when I got my new job.
21)Favorite Night out? Hanging out at the pub with the other furs having a few drinks
22) Any new additions to your family? nope, well none in the immediate family anyway.
23.) What was your best month? Probably July, annual bonus time

What is the name of your fursona?
My fursonia is known as CJ Wolf, though his full name is Jonathon Wolf.
Where did the name of your Fursona come from?
Well the Wolf part is pretty self explanatory, Jonathon I picked just because I liked the name, and the C is for Captain since that's my character's rank at his job.
What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?
CJ is a North American Timber Wolf, and I choose that species for a couple of reasons, mainly just because they've always been my favorite animal, followed closely by Tigers, but the wolf is also my totem spirit according to Native American legend.
What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
CJ has two tone brown fur, a rich dark brown on his back from the top and front of his head right down to the top of his tail. The bottom of his muzzle and down his chest to the underside of his tail and inner thighs is a lighter color brown. His eyes are a deep ocean blue, his hair is brown too, so it usually goes unnoticed amongst his fur.
What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your irl?
CJ and I have much the same personality, though he has a few traits that I wish I did have irl, but for the most part we're the same that way. CJ is a bit taller then me irl since he stands at just over 6 feet and he tends to keep in better shape too.
What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you irl?
I could say his smile, since we both seem to usually be smiling. Other then that I would have to say his uniform, since we both have the same one.
What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?
OMG fluffy wolf *pounce*, followed by it's my turn to fly
What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?
*giggle* you need to spend more time at the gym, and what do you mean it's your turn...that's my seat.

Posted 18 years agoWell with just over two months to go before FC things are nicely falling into place, my leave has been approved, and my tickets from Perth to LA have been arranged, gotta love job perks 950 AUD return *grins* anyway I'm looking forward to catching up with lots of old friends and meeting up with a few new ones for the first time.

New Character

For those of you who don't know this already, which is going to be most of ya, I have a new character. Charlie Wolf is the character's name. As of a few weeks ago Charlie was slubberized and is now the property of whyteyote and Tym while his owners are still undecided about a few of his features he is mainly royal purple in color with black and dark purple accents. He wears a black collar that has a flame print star tag and his name engraved on it. Anyway more news on Charlie as his owners make it available.

Settled in WA
Posted 18 years agoWell it's taken me a couple of months to get everything settled in and find myself a nice little apartment over here in West Aus. but now that that's all taken care of and I have a job that actually pays a decent wage i'll be getting back to writing again. I have a story that just needs to be proofread then it'll be right for posting, and a couple more that have been sitting on my hard drive for the last several months whilst I got stuff sorted.

Posted 19 years agoHey there everyone. Just to let everyone know, no I haven't died, at least not that anyone's told me about it. I just finished work on my latest story "Love in More Than a Word". I took a break for a couple weeks before starting on this one and then it took a lot longer then I expected to finish writing it. So now I'll be starting to work on my next story, one of three that's waiting to be done. So until next time take care everyone *hugs*

Posted 19 years agoWell I managed to finish Valley of the Wolf - Returning Home (finally). So now that that's out of the way and posted time to start work on my next one.

Posted 20 years agoWell after three days of trying to get Stress Leave 4 onto the system and continusly getting the broken thread I'm going to give it a rest for a while. In the mean time anyone that wants to read it please email me and I'll be more then happy to send it to you.
