General | Posted 8 years agoTo all those affected by the tragedy that happened last night in Vegas, my heart goes out to all the families of those who died in the attack and I hope those in the hospital recover from their wounds and return safely to their homes and loved ones.
This is an upsetting time for thousands of people and their families from this act of terror fulled rage that occurred in a flash. This has started many an outcry, now that many more details have been released. From gun control to tighter safety in hotel rooms.
People, all I can say is I don't know how the US government will react, but the Nevada government has sure got many ideas brewing behind closed doors. There might be new gun laws, there might not be. But if the motives behind the attack has proved one thing, is that efforts to combat homegrown extremists will surely be put into place. Americans, as long as you band together to ensure that terror attacks are halted in their tracks before they even happen, you can ensure your safety will be kept. Even though I'm a gun nut myself, how that dick got so much hardware and explosives without proper mental health analyzing and internet history checks is beyond my knowledge.
Changes to Nevada's state gun laws will be determined in the future if they pass or not, just don't blame the NRA or the gun lobby if the bill doesn't pass. It's up to the state council to decide when it comes to security of the public, not the NRA.
Stay strong and keep calm, Las Vegas. Only time will tell.
