So I found a guy using people's artwork to make lithopanes, plastic panes which light is projected through to make the image glow and even project it. For some reason he's focused on just furry artists.

Not sure how many of you know of the artist Jesus Tello Tello AKA Dr. Moreau. But according to BBMBBF over on InkBunny, he passed away from an illness yesterday. He was a friend of mine, so it's sad to see him pass away :/

It's my birthday today. I'm officially 41. Yay...

Never fun getting older. But in five days I'll be turning 41. Just a reminder to being closer to the unavoidable end... Joy...

So I returned just a moment ago and unpacked my car. I have two commissions to work on here at home, but I finished two badge commissions while there. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything overly detailed while there since I'm used to that digitally and my laptop's graphics system pretty much is failing. And since I have a desktop now, I have to leave the thing at home.

So first I'll be working on  Eric_Reynard's commissions starting tonight. And when that's done I'll be working on  mako67's commission. After that I'll be finishing up my revisit of the current bounty hunter squad, then the sequel to my FNAF pic.

But if anyone else wants a commission between the two I'm working on and my personal projects, let me know and I'll be happy to work on it.

I'll be leaving here Thursday morning to drive up to Dallas to attend TFF. So if you wish to see me, I'll be there. And I hope I'll be getting a table at Artist Alley once again!

So, my computer's worse. Much worse now. I bluescreened twice in a single hour just for running a video for my game production lessons and the game engine program itself. In the midst of the first bluescreen, the Windows update that caused this whole mess that I managed to uninstall got reinstalled while the computer was booting back up and now I can't uninstall it... I was saving up for a new computer, but now it's too late. This laptop is borked and I only have around $200 saved up for a $800 replacement computer. I can't afford it right away... But I haven't been getting any commissions despite needing the funds.

Ah, well... Might get a friend to help me, though I didn't want to. But I'll be paying this friend back over time if things work out.

Well, seems like due to the Nov. 14th Windows 10/11 update (I'm on Windows 10), I'm not allowed to stream anymore. I've had to deal with a Direct X crashing issue from this computer once before, but now no matter what fix I try to do, the issues persist. Even to the point that I'll either get a bluescreen with the code pointing to that same Direct X issue previously mentioned, or in the case of just now... I get a complete graphics driver crash by way of the screen going black and either it'll come back on its own or not come back at all forcing me to manually restart the computer.

It's because of this I've been looking into buying a new computer. Going for a simple, low grade gaming desktop, but still a gaming desktop so I can do my art work and my upcoming game projects.

So I have to do this... I'm opening commissions right now and they'll have to be worked on off stream due to the current computer issues. The commission prices are going to be updated to as follows:

EDIT: So I should explain something to those of you new to me or those of you who might not remember this. I'm an unusual type of artist referred to as a mimic artist. What does this mean? I can mimic artstyles other than my own. I do have some of my own, but yes, I enjoy challenging myself by drawing in a style found from an anime or a video game. So if you commission me, you can actually request I try a different artstyle for it if you'd like.

Also about more of myself as to my mindset as an artist. I think regardless of the subject matter, art in itself is just fantasy, the imagination given form on paper. So nothing drawn or you have drawn reflects on you as a person. I was also a child of the 80s and 90s, so I enjoy the comics of these times, especially Marvel comics, of which some of my favorites were that of the Silver Surfer. So my own comics tries to live up to those times story wise. I can't say I'm as good at those comics art wise, but nothing stopping me from trying. And you probably guessed that I'm also a fan of anime and video games. This, too, reflects in my art and work.

So, I'm back, but seems I came down with some food poisoning Saturday and Sunday. I'm feeling better now, but still feeling some of the affects, such as still having partial nausea.

I'm also very exhausted from the trip. So while I would be doing an art stream tonight, I think I should use this night to relax and try to recover...

So things that tried to go wrong today for me, did. I was to pick up a rental car today to take to Dallas, but that fell through, and the other rental place required a reservation a day in advance... So I had to quickly get a tire on my old truck that blew out replaced today (joy) for the long 5-6 hour drive up to Dallas... Joy...

Because of all the running around and last minute preparing for this ONE ISSUE, I'm exhausted...

But I'll be getting my stuff ready tonight for the trip and will be heading out tomorrow to TFF with  daq.

I hopefully will be in the artist alley Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! If you should see me you can get your Team Booty/Team Booby badge from me, even if I don't have a table! And hopefully by ACFI later this year I'll have a new product to sell!

It still needs fixing, but thanks to a friend and some clever thinking of my own, we got the laptop's keyboard disabled and a USB keyboard plugged in and working in its stead. So the computer issue is resolved for now, but will still need to go into the shop, but it's not as urgent as it was previously.

As for my Brimstone Road YCH. It was planned for just October, but I think I'll extend it to the end of the year due to the delay. If you're curious about it, let me know. The YCH post is still up, too.

So yeah, I had to cancel my game stream Sunday night because all day my computer was turning on Sticky Keys by itself, even just after I turned it off. I've tried everything to disable it as well with nothing working. It only just now let up on the bullshit, but seems I might have to put the computer in the shop before it does this again...

So this is the main reason why I started the YCH, to replace this computer. But because of how this acted yesterday, it would make it hard to work on the YCHs... I'm still going to try to do them, but first this computer needs repairs before I can replace it. Ugh.

So I got the new cord this morning. Apparently it arrived at the post office yesterday, but Amazon didn't bother sending a notification email on that fact. But anyway, the Halloween YCH pages, which I sketched out by hand and then went over digitally, have been scanned, organized, and ready for posting.

I also made sure to look into the computer I'd like to get to continue my work and projects so I know what goal to aim for. More details on this will be posted on the YCH.

So I just had a brown out a moment ago and it killed the power cord to the laptop I'm using... I ordered a new one, but it won't be here until Saturday. So I might be forced to go offline for a few days until then, and that means my stream later today and Friday will have to be suspended... Joy... Also my YCH might be delayed for a day depending on when the cord actually shows up here.

So since I will be attending Alamo City Furry Invasion in October, I'll be suspending my game project work for now. But I won't be picking it up until after October because I will be doing a Halloween YCH based on my Brimstone Road horror game idea.

I'm doing this because I have two laptops here, a gaming laptop and a standard modern laptop. But sadly both of them are breaking down. So I'm in need of a new computer. And honestly if I had a desktop I'd be able to stream some games I had trouble streaming before on these laptops. So, I'm going to look into a decent desktop that'll let me work on both my art and my game streams as well as game projects and set that as my goal, but until then, look forward to the YCH notice which I'll make and post on Saturday.

For now, I have to prepare for ACFI when I'm not doing my streaming.

So, I'm almost done with my revisit of the Demonic Squad, working on the last character now. So what happens from here? Well, while this is the 10th squad completed on the revisit and I have 40 more to go... I have other things to do as well :/

So, I'll be alternating my work a new squad revisit, this one being the Angelic Squad, and a game project I'm working on known as Run The Office. The difficult part of the game project is that I'm having to use C# coding, which is a coding language I'm not very familiar with. Parts of the language is pretty basic stuff, but other parts... uh.... I'm at a loss... So I'm going to try my best, but would really appreciate if someone that was more familiar with this coding language could give me occasional help and advice to make things go faster.

In the meantime... back to work.

Yay... it's my 39th birthday today... I am not fond of getting older... I can't change it, but I don't like it either way...

So, I was up in Dallas with  DAQ where we were selling our art at the Artist Alley. I debuted my Booty/Booby badges for the first time, with horizontal and vertical variations as suggested by  maxblackrabbit. I think people really took an interest in them! I still have some work to do before I can rest up entirely, but considering getting back today from driving from Dallas back to south central Texas, I'm going to use this day to recover. But expect some things posted soon.

So, lately I've been working on my artwork off stream to try to get back to drawing. However, starting Sunday I'm going to change things up.

I'll go back to streaming regularly. Art streams Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and game streams Sunday. But I'll be alternating weeks with something else. Every other week I won't be streaming except for the Sunday game streams. That week I'll be dabbling with Unity and Godot to try to make games again. So these odd weeks will be used to learn the programs and slowly get towards building games again.

For the art streams, I'm working on revisiting the six souls of Claw for now. Abenstolse was already finished and posted. Maleno is almost done. After that I just have Velermen, Laveror, Hashimon, and Dante left to revisit. After that I'll probably get back to revisiting my bounty hunters.

In game streams, here's the plan so far. I'm going to try to continue with Citizens of Earth. I've never beaten the game yet in my free time, so I have no idea how far I am in beating the game. Once I do finally beat it, I'll go and play Cuphead on stream before going back and finishing up Hollow Knight. Once those two are done, I'll be playing some Final Fantasy, starting with FF6, going on to FF7, then FF8, FF9, FFX, then ending with FFXII.

It's my birthday today. 38 now. Yay...

So... my gaming laptop that I play games and do artwork on had a lot of issues last night where it had to be restarted basically 4 times in a single day for constantly freezing. I'm going to clean up the software a little before putting the laptop in to be worked on. I don't know how long this will take, but I have this backup laptop to keep up with everyone with. This is only a temporary laptop, though. The laptop belongs to my parents, not me.

As much as I would like to get a replacement computer, I would need to do a lot of commissions for this and it'd need to be a gaming laptop/PC for my artwork. Which to me would mean I would need to get like at most $5k for the new computer :/ I will first see about getting my laptop fixed before resorting to getting a new computer.

In the downtime of the hiatus, I'll see about correcting my sleep cycle as last week I missed all my stream schedules because of me being really tried by the time it was time to stream and not being able to even stay up to work on it. Also during my downtime, I'll see about learning Unity and Godot for making games. I am in the process of working on a new game, having already made some sprites for the game.

I said I was going to explain, so here we go.

As some of you know, I stream my art on Picarto and my game playing on Twitch. So what happened with my art stream today? Apparently Picarto changed things. They used to have only one RTMP server and now they have three. East US, West US, and UK servers. I don't know if it was because I was trying to use the West US server or what, but because I'm located in south central Texas, it'd be 50/50, so I went with the West server since most games with these kinds of servers (Diablo/Path of Exile) tends to put me in West US servers. But when I tried to go live, it would automatically keep resetting its connection until XSplit, my broadcast program, would automatically stop it for too many resets. It could be something only with the West US server, so it'd have to be tested...

But as you guys might've seen I connected to Twitch just fine, so that's what I used. If I can figure out what's going on with Picarto, then I'll resume streaming there. But until then, I'll be streaming on Twitch for the time being.
