Posted 11 years agoMy playtesting on my RPG hit a little snag. I've been going through it and fixing little errors here and there that I find. And once I get to the final boss and beat them, I find an error that prevents players from being able to reach the bonus sections of the game. And because of this I need to get it fixed, but I can't fix it myself as it's a script causing the error and I don't know anything about the Ruby coding language to fix it. So I'm having to confer with a forum that deals with this and wait on their input. So while I do that, I guess I'm going to be back on my art work in the meantime. So since I got a new computer now, expect occasional art streams from me.
Right now I'm trying to get my OBS program to work with this new computer, meaning I have to set it up all over again. Once it is working, though, not only should I be able to art stream, but finally game stream, too! Let's hope it goes well! :D

The Six Realms remake completed
Posted 11 years agoThat's right, it's finally done and remade. If you want to play it, you might have to wait. But if you want to help me make sure I have it all working, I am taking on test players to test the whole thing out. At the moment two people have offered to test play it, but I'm taking on a total of ten, which means there's eight open slots now for test players. Emergency!
Posted 11 years agoThis is a message to everyone who've wondered where I've been lately. Sadly my computer had a critical failure by way of no longer being able to access the internet. The Ethernet port has been burned out for a few months now and just last week the wireless receiver wire built into the laptop has severed by way of a crack in the laptop's casing. So it can no longer get online and I'm stuck using an old crappy and laggy laptop who's spacebar doesn't work 100% of the time and the thing loves to bluescreen more than an alcoholic loves beer.
Because of this it's obvious I need a new computer. I can still use my laptop fine, but it can't go online anymore and as previously stated, the one that can go online is too old and ready to retire. So I need to do some emergency commissions to help me get a new laptop. And as such, I have to do some emergency commission price changes this once.
My new pricing for now is this:
$5 for clean sketches
$10 for clean inks
$15 for clean colors
$15 for adult sketches
$20 for adult inks
$25 for adult colors
And as before any character count per pic that exceeds four characters is $1 per extra character
I do offer discounts, too, if you buy three or more pics in one sitting at $5 off per pic, except for the clean sketches, which will be $2 off per pic.
Because this situation not only keeps me from being online all that often, but has effectively halted my RPG remake work right when I was closing in on finishing it.
My fund goal is $300-$1000, but an exact price will be issued once I look around Amazon for a viable laptop for me to use.
If you can't take a commission yourself, then please, PLEASE, spread the word!
EDIT: Seems there's a viable Chromebook on Amazon I could try using as a temporary computer until later on. It's for $199.99 plus about $31 if I want a year warranty. And with my luck with computers, I probably should get that. So by all rights that sets the price I need to be around $231, but I'm setting my goal to an even $500. The extra money will be put to use to help me with an upcoming convention.

Several, which isn't uncommon of this place. I taught myself a few forms of martial arts, I have magic of fire and shadow elements though I specialize in the fire type, and a few energy based attacks which would be difficult to describe. Oh, and due to my half-god blood, I regenerate and can regenerate or revive others so long as it hasn't been 2 or more hours.

Important update
Posted 11 years agoThe map build of the new version of The Six Realms is all complete and now I just have to do some programming, map touch ups, and set the cast and monsters to the right configuration. It might take a few weeks to complete this.
Also my art's temporarily in a lull because my parents are here and it's sort of hard to work with them around...
I did finish one pic, which is up on InkBunny right now. I'll see about posting it here soon.
As for the RPG, once this new version is complete, I'll be taking ten test players to help me test this newer game out and make sure it's complete.
As for the old version, The Six Realms - Devil May Care and The Six Realms - Iron, they'll be publicly released today.
The new version however, I'll be seeing if I can release it for sale, all be it cheaply, on Steam to help fund my future game projects. Also this newer build of The Six Realms will be the absolute final. Once it's done, there will be no more reworks or anything like that. Might be occasional fixes should an error presents itself, but that's all. This new The Six Realms is being dubbed The Six Realms - VX Ace/Steam edition.
Also my art's temporarily in a lull because my parents are here and it's sort of hard to work with them around...

Posted 11 years agoFor those of you who are curious, I've been working on my RPG remake for awhile now and am almost done with the complete map rebuild and then will need to go back and program the whole thing like the previous version was. Starting August 1st I'll be forcing myself to work on it and alternate it with my drawing all month long for at least 4-6 hours a day. Hopefully with this the RPG will be complete and I'll have new art to post again.
Also in other news, that asshole I mentioned before has gotten worse and even gone to harassing an important friend of mine just because she's a friend. This guy's gone too far before this and now he's just forcing my hand. So come tomorrow I'll try to finalize some harassment reports I got from his victims and send it to the appropriate authorities because not only can he not get away with this, but he's already committed a few illegal acts already.
Seriously... When the dumb get dumber we all get headaches...
Also in other news, that asshole I mentioned before has gotten worse and even gone to harassing an important friend of mine just because she's a friend. This guy's gone too far before this and now he's just forcing my hand. So come tomorrow I'll try to finalize some harassment reports I got from his victims and send it to the appropriate authorities because not only can he not get away with this, but he's already committed a few illegal acts already.

Posted 11 years agoThose of you might be wondering what happened to me since I've been silent. Well, I've been working on the remake of The Six Realms all month long effectively delaying my artwork, which I'll get back to on the 30th.
Also lately an asshole and poor excuse for a human being has resurfaced and started harassing me again, even mocking the way I look on his Tumblr... I'm not going to name names here for safety's sake, but I'm sure a lot of you can guess as to who this person is, especially with multiple threads on Lulz appearing. Now I normally avoid sites like Lulz and 4chan because I don't like trolls, but this guy has been such a problem that Lulz and I have come to an agreement of the matter of this guy and how to deal with him.
This guy has actually committed several crimes against people and while it's all online, it's still making it just means for the law to get involved. So far the crimes counted are cyber stalking, harassing, threatening, blackmail, scamming, disruption of business, and fraud.
A few people and I have been trying to gather first hand accounts of the victims of this guy's activity to give to the police and have them deal with the guy once and for all. He might think he can do whatever he pleases and that he's justified in what he does, but he's really only lying to himself.
If all goes well, you'll be hearing about the result very soon and I can get back to work fully again.

Posted 11 years agoWell, the RPG I've been working on was actually completed a few months back, but hasn't been released publicly on the account I was having my test players do a final play through of it, but either they've gotten lazy or just forgot. I haven't heard anything from them about the RPG since it went into final playtest and seems like I might never hear anything ever.
However, I'm moving on regardless. I've recently gotten RPG Maker VX Ace through Steam and as they have a game contest running this month I have been rushing to remake The Six Realms on VX Ace within the month before the deadline. This new version of The Six Realms will fuse the older Devil May Care and Iron versions as well as give the RPG a slight graphical upgrade.
VX Ace also has some interesting character and monster settings that differ from VX's simple system.
However, I'm moving on regardless. I've recently gotten RPG Maker VX Ace through Steam and as they have a game contest running this month I have been rushing to remake The Six Realms on VX Ace within the month before the deadline. Lately I've been dabbling in something quite a few artists are familiar with, especially fans of the Team Fortress 2 game. I've been working with the program known as Source FilmMaker that allows you to make posters and/or movies of most of Valve's game series, most seen with Team Fortress 2 animations on YouTube.

Posted 11 years agoI need help identifying a particular breed of bat for a database of characters I’m making for one of my projects. I found a bat close enough to one of my bat characters to consider him as this type of bat, but trying to find the name of the breed has lead to a deadend. So… I thought I’d ask you guys…

An important notice
Posted 11 years agoSorry to say this but... I'm suspending my art streams until further notice. As much as I like Furstre.am over Livestream, the streaming program is what's the pain... Using a login streamer like Open Broadcast System affects my system so much that my art has actually been slowed by it rather than my normal standards and speed.
So, unless Furstre.am changes its stream requirements, Watchtail returns to working status, or I get my own place with better net than what I have now... I will no longer be streaming. I've decided that while I'll personally keep the same stream hours to just work on my art, it'll no longer be shown online except for the finished products.
Sorry, everyone who was hoping to see me stream tonight or in the future. I'll keep my stream schedule up because if I do return to streaming, the same times will be kept, as well as my commission information is on there for anyone interest in commissioning me.

thewanderingpikachu. Though if I count the old vote years ago that I got from 
cfreaper2 that means I have one vote for Domino City and one vote for Battle of the Blackfield. WP's vote was for the Battle of the Blackfield and as it was the most recent, I might go with that one, but for the hell of it, I'll do some dice rolls to see if it'll determine a tie breaker if I went with both.

Back from TFF2014
Posted 11 years agoYes, I'm back and this year was great for me! The only problem I really had with Furry Fiesta this year was that traffic in Austin going to and from the convention was sluggish compared to what it normally is. Also the corral of the convention was cold... And I mean really cold! My hands felt like ice and while I tried to mentally ignore it, I was shivering a little later.
By the last day I ha to resort to wearing both my jacket and over that my trenchcoat. I had to switch out my fingerless military combat gloves for my full black leather gloves, and even then my hands gotten cold :/
It was nice seeing

wolfkidd all at the convention, especially considering DAQ's recent tragedy :/
While I was in the corral I was drawing and playing TF2 offline for breaks, and had a duel monitor system set up so people could watch! So if you attended this year's Furry Fiesta and stopped by the corral, you might've seen me there. I did bump it my old Furcadia employee, cfreaper2, while I was there, too.
But while I was working and playing, a few people shown interest in what I was doing, whether it was the RPG I made, the art I was drawing, or my gaming a popular and fun game :p
Because of this my drive to draw is actually back! And I come back with some new pages of the Exhibition Fighters comic ready to be posted! I also have secretly been making more characters for Exhibition Fighters' possible sequels. I'm actually up to part 4 for the cast, but be ready for a surprise once I actually start making the Exhibition Fighters games!
And due to the various people showing interest in my work, I've gained the confidence to maybe start publicly selling my art, if I can get some banners and such together for the day I start putting myself in the Dealer's Den, but I'm gonna ween myself into it. I think next year I'll try my hand in the Artist Alley.
But first thing's first, I'm going to be taking commissions and donations to help out
gabe still to gather funds for his Legend of Queen Opala 3 RPG. I will also start my art streams again! I already have a stream schedule made up and will post it soon. I will adhere to this schedule until May.
Why until then? I'll be starting my art school classes to better my animation skills, which I've kept from the public eye. I'm too used to the flipbook or scene by scene animations and I feel this isn't good enough to post online. I need to start learning flash animating and better my skills in animation. And maybe working in game animation and/or movie animation through the art school, I can eventually get my goal of making Anthro Heroes comics a real thing. If you're curious, AH comics won't just be doing comics. There will be an animation branch and game branch eventually, so we can really bleed out the imagination :p
Wish me luck and be on the look out for new art, which will be coming soon!

Setting out tomorrow
Posted 11 years agoWell, tomorrow morning I'll be setting out to go to Furry Fiesta. Wish me luck because I'll be driving from San Antonio to Dallas, which will be about a 6 hour drive.
I'll try to do some drawing once I arrive there at the hotel I'm staying in. Most likely will be bored out of my mind and occasionally playing games on my Steam account.

Posted 12 years agoMy computer has been acting a bit odd lately by randomly disconnecting the wireless adapter for no reason :/ And that's not really the main problem with the recent slack of art. I'm trying to work myself back into the art game, especially since I took a few months off just to finish up my RPG project.
Those curious about the RPG... I would release a public version of this newest version, but I want my test gamers to play through both versions first to make sure there's no errors, like how the save locations from Iron version do not show up in the Devil May Care version, the graphics can be seen and work correctly, and all events in my vast RPG world work as they're supposed to. Sadly, so far none of my playtesters have been able to do so yet, what with one forgetting to get to it far too often in favor for Fallout New Vegas, another not feeling up to playing it, and two others going dark after providing them with download links.
I have been playing through the RPG all over again myself and have found some errors that my playtesters should have been keeping me informed of if they were playing it. So I had to make new files of the RPG to be uploaded and deleted the old ones, which means I'll have to finish uploading these and give my playtesters these new links.
I do have a stream schedule finally, inspired by my friend, zillford, and my stream schedule includes commission prices for anyone interested in commissions from me. My commission funds will still go towards gabe for now because he needs funds to continue his Legend of Queen Opala RPG series. If he cannot get funds soon, the current one he's working on will be his last.
If you're an artist and would like to help him, you can commission to get him funds yourself or notify others of this journal. If you're not an artist, you're welcome to notify others of this journal by way of your own journal or just word of mouth.

But with this new net comes something else that is really fun :3 I have some Steam games now and with this net I can go online with them and play with others.
Of the Steam games, I have four that allows multi-player, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Portal 2, and EverQuest.
Let me know if you'd be interested in playing along with me on any of these and I'll try to schedule a gaming date that I'm not streaming to play with you.
Also don't forget that I'm often on RuneScape, and need some new clanmates due to some old ones bailing on me. If you wish to join me on RuneScape and the clan, just let me know.
