Unironically, you've made it much easier for me to tell people to check this site if they want the largest archive of my art.

I found out today that Dragoneer passed away last night. I don't even know what to say about the suddenness of it all. I hope his family's doing alright. Fuck this country's degrading, abusive healthcare system. That his last few posts on bluesky were about the thousands of dollars it'd cost for a biopsy that came too late, is horrifying.

I've talked my share of of trash over the years, but I really do appreciate Furaffinity as a website. I've browsed it since before I was technically old enough to make an account without lying about my age, and on/off over the years, it has been a part of my life ever since. I can't think of any other art gallery sites that manage to do quite what Furaffinity does; it really feels like something made with artists and art appreciation in mind. And the site culture, as much as I've had problems with it, has really been good for me as an artist. Of all the platforms I use, there's no other where I'm quite so liberated from anxiety and shame.

In terms of legacy, you could do a lot worse.

I had thought for a while that I'd put out a big ole batch of YCHs over the span of a couple days, assuming they'd be claimed slowly. I'm really happy and appreciative that the first sold overnight, and it was also an immediate reality check that, for now, with how things are for me IRL, I ought to take things one step at a time. I'll at least hold onto the others until I've made substantial progress with the first. That also gives me breathing room to consider commissions when I'm messaged with inquiries.

I'm trying to do this thing lately where I treat myself with the consideration I'd give any other nervous, autistic person with lots on their plate. That's just the best way, I think, for someone like me to acclimate to a proper artist's workflow. I appreciate everyone's support whether its monetary or in the form of compliments and encouragement. If my art wasn't reaching anyone or bringing anyone joy, I wouldn't feel nearly so inclined to keep going.

What to expect of the other YCHs sitting in my files, or that are likely to come about later:
-Cute, beefy dudes
-Simple but sexy porn, quite likely my first try at a multislot batch
-General themes of fitness and muscles and sweat, these things are on my mind a lot as I work on strength-training IRL

They don't tell you EVERYTHING, I think I like em best when there's at least a little bit of mystery and incentive to ask questions about them and stuff. And there's definitely some characters I haven't added but want to add in future updates, lest you wonder... But anyways yeah check it out if you want. Currently I've added 7 characters from my original furry setting, and 7 total fan characters from Vampire: the Masquerade, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, Final Fantasy XIV, and Star Trek.

Obviously output of personal/oc art will be slowed while I focus on clearing this queue and the YCHs that were claimed. I'll make it known when I'm open for another batch!

It might be fun to make some YCH bases, I could use the money, and I've never really done YCH before. If you're someone who likes that kind of thing/is interested in seeing more adult artwork from me, I would strongly appreciate comments about it, you will help me determine the demand, and thus the price, whether I should allow bids or only an autobuy to speed things along, etc... And I'd appreciate it even more if you help me determine if I should prioritize solos, couples, or what.

And if I do end up getting into YCHs, there's a chance I'll experiment with more fetishy stuff in the future. I'm sort of interested in drawing transformation sequences for instance even though I'm not "into" it as a sexual fetish in specific. But that wouldn't be my YCH debut, I don't think

Last year I didn't make any official resolution but I did find a tweet from exactly a year ago wherein I said:

"I’m feeling something positive about my progress artistically. I’m getting somewhere but not sure where. All very confusing but exciting. Happy New Year I’m going to go ahead and keep watching cool movies and reading cool comics and also not die"

I think it's safe to say that in the past year I improved the quality of my artwork and the ease with which I continue improving, IE learning how to more efficiently learn, having fun with my practice. I watched fewer movies this year but plenty great ones all the same. DEFINITELY read a lot of cool comics, I'm almost caught up on One Piece (almost at the start of the Wano arc!) which I'm sure you know is uhh... real long. Read some non-comic books too, which is a habit I fell out of years ago. And I haven't died :3

I'm still hesitant to make resolutions, because I think they're hard to really actively follow. I'm almost superstitiously avoidant of making any in regards to health and exercise because those resolutions seem almost doomed to burn out in a week (as regular gym-goers easily observe). But similar to last year, I think its safe to hope that I read more books. And generally creatively and intellectually enrich myself. And also not die.

I personally celebrate Christmas. In fact I’m writing this surrounded by absolutely torn up wrapping paper in my boyfriend’s family’s living room. In some timezones it isn’t even Christmas anymore, if you do Yule I know that’s passed, Hanukkah’s LONG since passed, but Kwanza’s yet to come, right? And there’s probably others that I’m unaware of. Whatever you’re doing today I hope it’s all good for you.

If you can’t have a very merry time, if you’re cold or hungry or don’t have anyone to spend the holidays with, I hope you can catch some moment of respite, at least. And that you don’t catch a cold.

I'm starting a few days late for a few reasons, but lets gooo I'll start whipping up some attacks. Didn't expect Team Steam to take the lead tbh!

Not stuff intended to be j/o material per se? But I keep having art ideas with erotic themes that might finally tip over into "too risque for Twitter, unless I block every minor who follows me". Meaning if I do make anything like that, it'll probably be a Furaffinity exclusive, because of the filtering system here.
