And after getting home from work, I spend a nice few hours with my co-workers by the light of the brightest thing we can find, and we all snack and hang out and play some games and whatnot until we all fall asleep."

• What is the name of your fursona?

Gyurr.


• Where did the name of your Fursona come from?

Initially, when Gyurr was first created, she was a mish-mosh of different animals and didn't have a classification... but like most things you mash up, I realized that mashing up colors of things came up with the color gray more often than not. So she started with the name "Gure" (pronounced Goo-Ray) which is just the Japanese-English Romaji for the word "Gray." I don't prefer Japanese names anymore, so I altered her name from what it used to be a while back. It's now Gyurr.


• What species is your fursona and why did you choose that species?

She's a Metallivore. It's a very generalized classification, though, but obviously made up. It means "Metal Eater", and I chose it to give an explanation for her all-gray coat... and to give her some pretty amazing fighting abilities to give her the extreme upper hand in combat.


• What color is your fursona and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc

Gray, gray, black, and more gray. Gray coat, black hair, black hooves, black claws... Yeah.


• What is your fursona's personality and how does this compare to your RL personality?

Gyurr's personality is a hundred times cooler'n mine. She's calm, collected, and incredibly sarcastic. She's very independent and won't accept anyone's help unless it's forced on her. She's got a very authoritative and domineering personality. I think I exhibit SOME of these traits in very MINOR quantities from time to time around my friends that have a weaker will and personality than my own.


• What is one item your fursona owns that is significant to you in RL?

Gyurr doesn't really permanently own anything, honestly. She owns a lot of electronics and things BRIEFLY before she eats them... does that count?


• What is one thing you think you would say to your fursona if you could meet?

I'd probably ask her to train me to fight like she does... but it'd never work and she'd probably say no 'cause I'm a lost cause. OTL


• What is one thing your fursona would say to you if you could meet?

She'd call me a weak, pathetic walking stick, probably...


• How has your fursona changed over the years?

She used to be much more... animal. Like, a mutt, if you will.. She had so many different animal breeds in her that she was just kind of beyond chimera status. Nowadays, she's not a mish-mosh... well, not as much anyway. She's just unique in that her traits aren't genetically linked to any one animal at all.


• How long have you had this fursona?

Maybe seven years, give or take?


• Would you like to be more like your fursona?

Obviously. She's a thousand times cooler than I'll ever be...

1 – Do you and your "fursona" look alike?

No, not really, other than that I wear black and gray all the time and she just naturally IS black and gray..

Gyurr doesn't wear clothes. If she did, though, it'd be a lady's business suit type get-up. Which I don't wear at all, though I wish I did.

3 – Do you share the same sexuality as your fursona?

Gyurr's pretty straight and I'm pretty NOT straight, so, no.

4 - If you hadn't already made your fursona look like you, if you would to change how s/he looked like to make him/her look more like you, how would you think he/she would look like?

I wouldn't change 'er at all, but if I had, her hair might be wavy... and she'd probably be a fuck-ton thinner with smaller tits.

5 – Did you work hard to develop your fursona? What is the (brief) history of your fursona?

I didn't initially. I just found a picture and came up with an idea. As brief as I can make this, Gyurr was created to out-smart, out-match, and out-do a jerk named Nikolai on the roleplaying site I used at the time (and still do). He was a Furry-Hater and I had my right mind to either constantly evade his onslaught or, in fact, kill his character myself. She ended up leading an entire army of Anthromorphs against him under the name of the Furry Cult. Her purpose hasn't changed except now it's just against Furry-Haters in general. Nikolai is gone, of course. The Furry Cult has also since been renamed to the Fury Syndicate... makes the name not quite so direct and awkward. She's been VERY developed since then.

6 – Do you and your fursona share relationship status?

Nope. I'm happily taken with a boyfriend and Gyurr is forever alone (by choice, mind you.)

7 – Do you find yourself jealous or upset if you get paired with someone you don't like or your partner does?

I'unno, depends on the person?

8 – How would you like your character not to be used?

I would prefer she, uh... not be... um.. used incorrectly, species-wise? I don't know.

9 – What's your fursona's specialty?

Gyurr's specialty is breaking every bone in someone's upper half with one kick of her fully metal-alloy hooves. c:

So, I thought about it... What if I made two-dollar egg adoptables. Would anyone go for that? I decided they'd be candy-themed. I'd let everyone pick what animal it was and whether they'd want it anthro or feral. It would just have the candy theme of the egg they start as. Sound interesting enough? I'd love to do something like this.
