Ten Strikes
Posted 14 years agoKinecting to the Future
Posted 14 years agoOh, by the way, I did in fact get a 360 with Kinect for Christmas. With it I got Sonic Free Riders, Kinectimals, Kinect Adventures, and Dance Central.
A few days later I was able to buy myself six regular 360 games thanks to GameStop's "Buy 2, Get 1 free" sale on pre-owned games. I acquired Fallout 3, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, Brutal Legend, Prototype, Lost Oddysey, and Left 4 Dead 2. Out of all those, I've played Lost Oddysey the most, clocking in almost 20 hours. I have to restart my Rise of a Ninja file because of a glitch that makes it impossible to continue the story mode if you do a certain side mission at a certain time, and I let my cousin, who was visiting at the time, borrow Prototype, since his step-dad, who he spends every other week with, has a 360.

Kinection to Motivation
Posted 15 years agoSo..... I'm saving up my allowance, and trying to do well in school. Between that and Christmas, I'm hoping to get a 360 and Kinect.
I want to get Sonic Free Riders. It looks like a lot of fun.
I love the music in the recent Sonic games. Free, the main theme of Sonic Free Riders, is amazing, and Reach for the Stars is nice and upbeat.
Also, the Sonic cast recently got some new voice actors. I've heard Sonic and Tails', and I like them, but I don't really think they fit. However, I like the humor that's been added to their lines.
Also.... http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1871449/
Ivorykitsune's got some financial troubles. I can't help, but I'm trying to get the word out to those who can.

Rage Against The Machine In Your Head
Posted 15 years agoI don't know why I'm typing this here. Nobody even reads this. Then again, maybe that in itself is why.
It irks me when people online argue with me about me. They overreact, and often enough can't tell the difference between my different moods, even though I go through more motions than most to make it painstakingly clear. With the major difference between how I type when I'm mad and when I'm not, I'm surprised it happens as much as it does.
It's happened twice recently, with two different people, and it's rather irritating. You're gonna try to tell me who and what I am? You're gonna hate on me when I stick up for myself? When I'm telling the truth about it? Honestly.
Now, granted, these things often tie into other discussions and debates, but one way or another, it seems the world is full of itself.
Yes, I know I'm cocky saying this, but that's because I'm smart and I know it. I can't remember the last time I was wrong about something. In real life, I get into arguments all the time, and it keeps going because people are too stubborn to admit when they're wrong.
Well, I need to sleep, since there's school today.
Avvie, signing off. Good night.

You have a 'heart,' even if you say you don't.
Posted 15 years agoDidn't go to Dragon*Con. We had been going to go Sunday, but overslept, then we decided not to go because Monday, being the last day, sucks.
But I did replace my PSP and get Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. I've got around 20 hours clocked into Days and about an hour clocked into Re.
I skipped out on school today due to sinus issues.

Dragon*Con
Posted 15 years agoI'll be attending Dragon*Con. I'm not sure which day. It's kind of a shame that I don't know anyone else in the Atlanta area.
I return.

Posted 15 years agoGoing to Myrtle Beach for five days.
There are some bad sides to it. I'll miss talking to friends on messenger and doing digital art.

Posted 15 years agoI got into a fight at school.
Details from a conversation with a friend on Skype:
Well this kid's been blaring his iPod so loud we hear it across the room. Furthermore he's not even supposed to be in there in the first place. He does it every day. So finally I got up, picked up my almost-empty Burger King cup, and walked over to him. See, he ignores people, so I started slurping it loudly to get his attention, with the intention of asking him to turn the music down.
He looked up at me and was like, "Go over there or I'll swing on you." "What?" was my response. So he repeated himself. "I don't know what that means." At this point he got up in my face, then shoved me. And again. So I said, "You wanna fight, big boy?!" And then he shoved me again, so I punched him. LET THE BRAWL BEGIN.
After the teachers and students rushed into the room from other nearby rooms and split us up, I walked around to look for my headphones I had somehow dropped, and saw his iPhone or whatever on the floor. So I stepped on it. I don't think I broke it...he flipped the fuck out and jumped me again.

Alice in Wonderland
Posted 15 years agoSo I just went to see Alice in Wonderland with one of my aunts and her two kids.
It was awesome. The 3D kinda dumbed it down....but it was still AWESOME.
My favorite character is the Dormouse. She kicked more ass than anyone. No, really, I'm obsessed. Although I still don't know her name because it's only outright stated like once. But still, plucking out the Bandersnatch's eye on a sword and keeping it as a trophy.
I really like it more than any of the other Alice stuff I've seen, particularly the other Disney Alice movie, which has no real relation to this one.
Final thoughts: "So, the Cheshire Cat has a thing for hats, the Red Queen has a thing for beheading people...does the Dormouse have a thing for skewering things' eyes?"

I AM NOT DEAD
Posted 15 years agoAnd to prove it, I need to post some stuff...
Right, let's see....oh, here we go.
For one, I'm not a...furry, per say. In fact just today I had a fight with one because he got arrogant and tried to suggest that furries should get credit for kitsunes...or something. Look, ask me if you want to know more about that. The point is, I'm here because some artists I like have accounts here.
Anyways, Sonic got me into the anthro bit. So my drawing style is influenced by that, though I'm trying to deviate as of late. My main anthros still look that way though.
Now, as for the Clerra...
Well, I'm a big fan of artists like Extvia and Ryanide. After some time of admiring their art, I got to thinking about the idea of living androids and started formulating my own world based off the idea.
However, before I run off designing characters on it, I've been building up some backstory for the world, and a location or two. Well, really, I already have character ideas, I just need to design them. I don't really have practice in inorganic and partially organic characters....But that's not gonna stop me!
I also use a lot of logic and science knowledge to think about modifications, weapons, and whatnot for the Clerra.
A big part of the Clerra world idea, though, regards their status - they're not really the dominant race, considering they were built by another, one that's still around...
It also deals with how they tax the planet's resources, and whatnot.
It's a work in progress and I'm lazy as hell, so bear with me here. I'm still trying to find ways to make it more unique.
Now, as for life, I'm in High School, although not really a normal one... and I'm just tryin' to go through the motions until my time to shine comes, ya?
My life goals are varied, and my interests include video games, art, music, and animation. Of these, I'm only somewhat skilled in the first two, the rest I have no idea about. I want to travel when I am older. Many project ideas are stored in my mind, waiting to be released.
Welp, that's all for now!
May the light of the Monotone Moon watch over you!

Ah, welcome.
Posted 16 years agoAre you lost? Awake? Dreaming?
Who knows?
I might. I am but a mass of thought. The pencil must concentrate my power for me to reveal my secrets.
Step forth into clear blue skies, and all will be revealed.

Ah geeze being poetic is so cheesey. Hi. Call me Clerra or Av. Or, y'know, something like that. I used to avoid this site like the plague, but I don't really care much anymore. So many artists I like have started uploading stuff here I figured I may as well join.
As for my username, it's a pun on "clear view" and "Clerra," the latter being a species of my own design. Expect some art of them once we get our scanner back.
May the bright future be your guiding light! Unyielding, step forth into tomorrow. Until next time!~
