I did a little profile update today, and uh... Yeah you mighta seen that I'm actually ace now! Which explains why I've been sorta uncomfortable with having NSFW stuff on my profile like I've had for a while. I'm thinking of moving all ref art and NSFW pieces into scraps because I don't want it gone from my profile, but refs feel like clutter on the main page and having a bunch of porn around my profile has felt really weird for a while.

I've still got a few characters up for sale, just comment or note your interest in them~ I have way too many and I'm just not able to give all of them the love they deserve.

I've got some characters that I was just never able to click with (none of them were ever posted). Two of them were originally gifts for a friend, but they told me nearly a year later that they had changed their mind, so they went back to me.

I've been feeling some kind of way about centaurs for a little while, but I don't really know many artists who draw them a lot. If anyone's got some recommendations for artists who do a lot of medieval fantasy art, and maybe have a few pieces with centaurs or similar in them, can I hear 'em?

I dunno, lately I've been wanting to share some of my art with friends, and I just think maybe I should have a second account to move my NSFW stuff to? Especially some of the "weirder" things, even though a lot of it isn't weird by the standards of anyone around here.

Wow this update is bad. It barely changed the UI and appearance, but made the site so much worse to use on a big monitor. They also moved parent posts down to underneath a post, and while they have you tag things in different category boxes those boxes don't actually categorize the tags for you. Plus, they don't show the uploader anymore? What gives with that?

Hey, so a friend of mine has been having a little trouble lately and they could use some help. They're an artist, do some adopts, and take commissions.

I bought a big pack of bases from  Chesta recently, thinking I'd use them for a little practice, see if I could come up with some neat designs for myself or friends, but now that I have them I just cannot seem to figure out how to use them properly.

My first thought was to just use a fill tool for overall color and paint from there, but that came out looking like a mess. I looked for tutorials or advice, but all I could find were people arguing over the merits of drawing on bases. I found some people saying to trace over the lines of the base and work from there, but that just came out looking awful when I tried it.

Where do I even start?

I think I started noticing this in the last year or so. Fewer and fewer ads getting responded to, the drop-off rate when talking to new people getting higher and higher, more friends deleting their characters without warning. Maybe everyone's moving to Discord, or some other site I haven't seen yet. I don't know. It's just sort of been depressing me lately

I dunno, I just realized I don't have many friends I can get art with, and I'd like to get some multi-character pieces with some other people. If any of my characters strike your fancy, why don't we talk somethin' out?

I might've gone and gotten the high bid on a bunch of YCHs last week.

I haven't got any art with someone else in a while. Mostly looking to get things with Cara, but I might be persuaded to use someone else. Message me if you've got a character you want to use. I don't really have an artist in mind, but I'm relatively open on that. I'm not able to afford stuff right now because of college payments, but I should be ready to go by around late September or October(but hey, that gives us time to come up with a thing and find an artist)

I've been doing a reading of the famous Old Man Henderson tale (everyone else is so damned formal in their narration, I just don't get it).

Anyone around able to do cheapish reference commissions? I'm looking to get some art of a toned spotted hyena girl, complete with pseudo-penis. I'm on a budget at the moment, so I can't afford much more than $40 up front.

My keyboard is officially dead. R.I.P., glorious mechanical device. I wish getting something with MX browns wasn't so expensive (the one I had went out of production and shot up $20USD in price), and after having that lovely USB hub built in, I can't allow myself to settle. Looks like It's hard to write on this garish membrane piece of trash.
