I don't write a lot of these unless something major is going on (usually something bad because my first instinct is to reach out for help) and that's largely because I'm an extreme introvert. I don't keep up very well with social circles, I don't even talk to my parents very much, so posting journals to say what's happening in my life (the cliffnotes version: a whole lot of nothing special) is just completely alien to me.
Furthermore I don't typically read journals from other users. This isn't to say I don't care what other people have to say, or that I'm somehow better than anyone else, but more often than not the information isn't relevant to me, and considering I'm watching over 2000 profiles on this site, albeit of which I don't know how many are regularly active anymore, keeping up with all of those journals would be time consuming, and frankly kind of overwhelming. So I just don't.

I've been working overnight at Wal-Mart since early May. The job is tedious and sometimes stressful, and it is by no means what I would like to do with my life but it would be a stretch to say that I hate it. It isn't the worst thing I could be doing, and at least I'm able to afford to pay the rent.
I stayed in a homeless shelter for most of April and all of May and June, doing the best I could not to get sucked into the bullshit drama that the people staying there like to cause. The shelter itself is alright, I would go so far as to say it's pretty great, but the people it houses are largely the scum of the earth.
Moved into an apartment in early July. It's small, there's no air conditioning, and the water contains enough copper that it isn't safe for human consumption, but I have a roof over my head, heat for the winter, and a job to pay for it.
My current plan is to save up as much money as I can and move to Virginia once my lease is up here. A friend is looking into a house, and between him, myself, and  Ashley_Espeon we should be able to afford it easily.
For now, my biggest trouble is getting back our belongings (what hasn't been eaten by mold) from the old place. I'd like to have at least a fraction of my clothes and belongings back.

Kicked out of where I was staying, details don't matter right now. I'm hunting for an apartment right now and I'm really in need of help. Will be updating my gallery with photos of recent work and offering emergency commissions as soon as I can hash out a price that works to the relative low quality of my work (as compared to other artists) and the time it takes to complete (it can take me up to 6 hours to fill a page, and I don't want to be doing those kind of hours for ten bucks flat, I'm sorry its just not a fair deal)

It's fucking hard! I've never been good at being social, and I think I try too hard when I am in social situations (primarily stream chats) because I don't want to just be silent and go unnoticed. I think it's a part of me that still needs to be the center of attention, something from when I was a child that I never grew out of, despite also growing into social anxiety that leads me to avoid human contact like the plague.
I am trying, though, to be at least slightly social. I don't want to be left alone or anything, but I'm bad at initiating conversations, I always worry that I'm interrupting something or that I just come off as annoying, and I don't ever know what to say, especially to someone I admire.
So, uh, yeah... Sorry if I'm kind of annoying and awkward? This isn't easy for me.

We've fallen behind on the bill, so Charter shut us off today. It's not the worst thing that could happen, we can live without internet, but since the other bills take precedence, it may be a while before we get it back on. Not my daughter. My cousin, actually, so my uncle's daughter. Earlier this week she had a severe asthma attack and slipped into a coma. She was left braindead, and rather than draw out her life on a machine when there was no chance of recovery, her family pulled the plug. My uncle, her father, lost his wife to cancer when I was young, and never remarried, so he's lost the last member of his immediate family. Today is the funeral, but because I had no way to make it to the airport, I can't be there to support him.

I don't has it. I am completely without inspiration/motivation to do anything creative lately. Spriting, writing, drawing, doing ANYTHING that requires the use of my brain, all intellectual activity has more or less ceased, and It's getting to me. You'd think I'd be used to this after dealing with it on and off for the entirety of my life, but I'm not. Without the inspiration to pick up a pencil, I can't find the motivation to do anything else.

I would say your My Little Pony bullshit can go rot in the depths of hell, but I'm pretty sure they don't want it either.

Bought a printer/scanner at Goodwill for 7 bucks. I'm quite happy with it, since it's a flatbed scanner and much better than the old one Ashley used to have.
We also found a SEGA Dreamcast for 8 bucks. How fucking awesome is that?

Super serious time, guys, we're in a huge bind with our rent, utilities, and cable bill. Suffice to say, our electric bill doubled last month for reasons unknown, and didn't go down at all this month, and our internet provider, after double billing us for $80 once before, causing our account to overdraft, we got them to pay us back and got a month free out of it, then the very next month they charged us for two months, plus the money they gave us back already. To top it all off, we've essentially blown our only way of making any money around here, so I'm forced to beg and plead with family who are not at all willing to help.
This is my last option, and I still don't feel too good about it.
I'll be taking sprite and avatar commissions, or anything else you could possibly want to ask of me, because we're fucking DESPERATE.
The best I can honestly offer is 50 cents a sprite (sprites being done on a sheet basis) and 5 bucks for an avatar, anything else is pretty negotiable. Consider these EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS since it is quite literally an emergency.

SPRITES: I'm going to go with 50 cents per sprite, and taking commissions by the page (So I'll be doing anywhere from 5 to 30 sprites per commission) I can do edits or custom, whichever base you would prefer, and only require some form of reference picture or adequate textual description. ANY SCALE OR STYLE IS DOABLE as long as the scale is within reason. If any sprite is more than 60 pixels in any given dimension, I'll be charging extra for that.
PORTRAITS/AVATARS: $5 for a 95x95 pixel avatar. These are drawn by hand, scaled down, and converted to colored, shaded, detailed pixel art in 600% magnification or higher, and they take a lot of work to produce, though I can easily deliver on a next-day basis if required. Nightwing's avatar is a prime example of these portraits, as would be my FurAffinity avatar. Dimensions beyond 150x150 are negotiable, but understandably, since it's more work I will have to charge more for it.
ANYTHING BLUBBING ELSE: Prices are negotiable, depending on what is asked for. I will do IMAGES OR WRITING on the subject matter of your desire, but depending on the quality or size requested, more generally means more expensive.

Last Friday, Ashley and i moved into our new apartment. Two bedrooms, upstairs, more than enough space for us and Ashley's cat. We spent the better part of the week settling in, assembling/moving furniture, got the internet hooked up on Tuesday, and we're pretty much good to go. Meadow Hill is subsidized housing, so our rent is very affordable. I just have to wait for my stuff to get shipped to me from storage, which could be a while, but now that I've finally got an address, I've got all the time in the world.

This week has both incredible and horrible.
I met, thanks to my mistress, a wonderful young man, for whom I have developed strong feelings in a short time. He agreed to be my mate, which fills me with immeasurable happiness. On top of that, I should be moving in with Ashley very shortly: we have only to get the utilities in our name and wait for the office to give us the okay. Unforttunately, in the meantime, things are becoming more stressful where I'm staying. Suffice to say I have failed to live up to my host's expectations, and the relationship has become increasingly strained. Last night, Spud tried to help me relieve some stress, and no sooner did we start than I was pulled away, adding further stress on the already intolerable mass. I'm in bad shape, and the sooner I can get away the better. I just wish I could live with the people I love and not have to worry about all of this.. I'm so fucking tired of the drama.

We are meant to have a single mate, a single partner, a single spouse, whatever the hell you want to call it, we're only allowed to have one. I can only ask why? What's so wrong with having these human urges? Why is it so evil to want what our body wants?

I choose to live by my god's example, and love the people I love, not just one, as society dictates, but everyone that resides in my heart. I'm both suicidally a depressed and homicidally angry at the moment, so I'll keep this brief.

I've been staying in a homeless shelter for the past three months. I only just found a job, which will be paying me a piecemeal rate, hardly enough to survive on and certainly not enough to afford an apartment ANYWHERE, let alone in this college town.
This shelter has a chore system, where residents will sign up for a chore at night to do the next day. If it isn't done, you get a strike, three strikes, you're out.
I had, for a long while, a single strike. No big deal, right?
Yesterday, I was given not one, but TWO strikes, for shit that was actually DONE.
Breakfast cleanup: someone told me they'd take care of it, since I got up late that morning. The guy in the office at the time even TOLD me that since it was covered, he wouldn't count it against me.

Yesterday was also my room's day for the weekly bedbug chore (the house has a problem with the little fuckers, so every day a different room has to spray their beds down with bleach and Ortho Home Defense). I sprayed everything down, and did my laundry.

Needless to say, I'm pissed right the fuck off, because I just got kicked out over shit that makes no fucking sense.
And now I have literally NO place to stay.
