This looks like a pretty cool opportunity for someone interested in a realistic styled fursuit.

Previously I was using this account primarily to watch fursuit makers so that I could "comparison shop" and get a good idea of what's out there, what it costs, and who makes it. Now that I've decided on a maker for Clopan, I'm more relaxed. I still like to keep tabs on what's going on in the fandom fursuit-wise, because fursuits fascinate me, but I feel less of a need to gather information like a madwoman. Now I can just sit back and enjoy people's work on its own merits, without regarding them with the steely eye of a potential customer.

I also used this account to enter a LOT of raffles, mainly for free fursuits or fursuit parts. I deleted all those past raffle journals because they're obsolete and they're not doing anyone any good. They just make me look like a moocher.

Now all I have to do is bang out a few more good ref drawings, and continue saving money. A certain "benefactor" of mine was going to help out a great deal with the cost of the suit (as a college graduation present), but now I'm not so sure what to expect. I may need to do it more or less on my own, which is tough as a part-time-employed student earning minimum wage. We'll see. I've got pit-bull like determination regarding this suit, more so than I care to admit, so it's going to happen one way or another. The goal is to have Clopan done by Rainfurrest 2013. If I don't eh, it's not the end of the world.
