It's with pained feelings that I'm announcing this today. My comic Close Encounters will no longer be updated. I haven't the time nor means to finish it. My interests have turned to something else this past year to now and I don't feel comfortable continuing CE in the direction it was heading. I apologize for this. Thank you to everyone who supported the comic. It really means the world to me.

It seems work has caught up to me per usual so this hiatus has taken longer than I expected.
At the moment I'm trying to rework and catch up on how I do commissions so it's left me little to no extra time to work on personal stuff. I apologize for the long wait.

I don't know when CE will be picked up on just yet. I've been thinking about putting it on hold for a few more months until everything work wise evens out.

It's already started!! I won't be posting anymore of the comic pages to this account BUT will continue to post teasers, exclusive pictures and content to this account!

So it's taken quite a while since I started asking around about coders and so on and a wonderful person dropped into my lap a couple weeks ago and has been amazing so far in helping me build the new comic site!

Progress has been made and I'm very happy with where it's going now!
Eventually I'll be purchasing a new hosting site for the domain and even more so refining the site later on down the road. But for now it will stay at the host site weebly and once up and running will be getting new updates!

I am very sorry for such the long wait on new pages. Believe me, I miss updating and working on it full force and hope to return to it soon!

We are making a few big changes to CE come soon! We have purchased a web domain for the site and our coder should be done with in the next week or so with it up and running!

Pages are being delayed a bit until the website is up and published. So expect a delay in uploads on this account as well.

Happy 2013 everyone! I hope all the holidays went well for everyone!
We here at CE are looking forward to this year being our "Can of worms" year! New and more enticing plot lines will appear, new characters will be introduced and crossing fingers my background formats change haha.

With all the new things that should be popping up this year, I also plan to add in a adult section possibly to the comic! This will be an exclusive area for persons age 18+ and carry never before seen content pages! (Don't worry these are filler pages will be for your adult enjoyment only and will not effect plot lines.)

-Chapter 5 is sketched and in inking process

-Chapter 6 is mapped out and parts are sketched

-Character development is coming along well.

-Most likely opening a character auction for the last open character spot on the secondary characters!
