Getting back into the swing of things with my art and finding my style, I figured now I might as well start getting back into the real swing of things.

I've been getting some MAJOR inspiration from my friend with art and also watching Hazbin hotel and of course you name it Helluva boss

With a new brush set to test out a bit more, I am keen to get some ADOPTABLES set and soon a COMMISSION sheet sorted.

Still debating on prices and such as I don't want to over charge people and I still don't feel that my art is the best yet. So it'll take some time, but soon, I promise I will get to it.

I hope everyone else has been doing well since I have been meaning to catch up with a few people on here.

The reason I am expanding is because I have noticed that FA is becoming more fetish art, and a lot of amazing artists are getting knocked back.
I wish to broaden my horizon and start working on more things.

The other thing is FA is super restrictive unless your subbed. I'm tired of having to resize and resize artwork just so I can upload it on here and its poor quality which sucks.

I sure do hope you like turians, because I plan to draw a LOT more of Malivous and possible even some asari stuff.

I'm working on some NSFW stuff and also some more emotional stuff, similar to Love kills artwork I did a few days ago.

I'm starting to work a lot more on Malivous as a turian, heck I might even RP him xD
I've also started working on an Asari OC. I know I had one ages ago but well..this ones going to be cute and thicc :3

For now, thats the only update to really talk about. Expect a lot of Mass effect stuff pretty much, a lot more lewd too <3

As a typical gamer and a halo fan, it is only right that I grabbed Halo infinite and give it a try after a few years of its release.

Of course being an aussie means I'm paying nearly $100 for a game, and halo infinite for some reason still holds it price very...pricey. So now that the sale has come on from steam, I grabbed it and I have been playing the game.

To say the least, I do enjoy it, its not exactly bad. There are of course issues but not going to get into that xD

what I am going to get into is the fact that I am amazed by the detailing put into the sangheili armor and their culture. Which has made me realize that Maci's armor is...Well I love it but it needs to be more to her style of combat and such and although she is classed as a minor elite in her early years, she was made as what we now know as a blade master. An elite that specializes in stealth and wielding dual blades.

Although back when I made Maci I had no idea about such things, but if you look back to her original designs well...need I say more? :)

So I thought I'd give you all a little warning that I'll be doing some armor designs for Maci, maybe even a new reference too. I have got some cool sangheili poses I sketched up which probably need to be finished so why not finish it now that I have been digging more and more into halo.

Strange thing I wanted to see why my male Turian adoptable had not sold yet. I went to go and check on the actual artwork piece and shockingly...its not there D:

I dont know why, I dont even know if there is a notification somewhere that got missed from FA team about it being removed, but I also do not know WHY it would be removed.

It was a redesign of a character I OWN so why would anything change?

Anyone have any idea about this?

Surely no one would report it and get it taken down, right?

Its an adoptable.

I'll probably post it again, list it as another character this time since it is very different compared to the other one. See what happens.

But I guess I figured out why it didn't sell...

Either way, I'll relist this adoptable as its own. Its design is different to the other toon which I will literally just let waste away.

If there was an issue with it, and it had been reported, FA should have at least notified me >:(

Besides that I will be doing a few more adoptables in the coming month. Both Turian, Sangheilis/elites, you name it.

I may potentially be getting an ipad for my art.
I love my Wacom, however drawing on a pad and looking at the screen isn't exactly an easy taste or skill to obtain.
I remember the first time I used a wacom, or drawing tablet, was a nightmare xD

But since I am looking at getting myself an iphone soon and while at the apple store, I got to experiment with the newest ipad and I really love the idea of being able to draw as if I'm drawing with pencil and paper.
So I'm exploring a few new options here and there as any artist would <3

But thought I'd do a little journal update for this week and letting you all know whats up <3

I have officially left my old toxic job yesterday and now I embrace a week of freedom before I start my new job.

This means I can probably do a lot more focus on art in the next coming days. I have a lot of sketches I need to sort through, re-correct or do. Things like that.
Also a few references that I will be re-looking at and I have begun to experiment a little more with lineart and discovered a few intriguing skills that have come in handy to make linework pop more.

In my last Journal I mentioned about my Mother and being in hospital.

After a week, she is now finally out. Although she does need a bit of care at home which I can easily provide, she is doing a hell of a lot better now <3

Which means I can focus on my art again.

YAY!!

Another good thing has also happened today!

I GOT A NEW JOB!!

I'm super excited to be leaving the current job I have as the abuse from the manager is not being resolved, in fact its getting worse. Thats because this horrid woman knows how to play the game too well and I've exhausted all legal options and nothing can be done.

Guess thats what happens when you go against a big company with a shit load of money.

Either way I am super keen to be leaving because mental and verbal abuse isn't good. For anyone. ITs also illegal in australia, yet somehow this bitch keeps getting away with it -eye rolls- again big heads with money...

However moving forward, I will be able to maintain art and work and looking after my Mother very well. Its a juggling act that I can actually manage <3

Life can often give us challenges. It is up to us to accept or decline that challenge.

Sadly for me I am in a very tough situation.

I received some great news about potentially employed in a new job that will offer me much better structure and also mental health help as well. As my Current employer does not believe in Mental Health and only believes in ruling with an iron fist.

While that is amazing to know I might get out of hell, I was also hit with a hard hand in life.

My Mother had a pretty severe fall. She is ok, but fractured her knee in several places.
This means I will not be able to work as much and work will absolutely hate me for it, but it also means a slight lag in artwork from me too.

Yes I have a lot of things, outlines and projects in the work that I have been focusing on a lot more recently rather then gaming.

However just so you all know I may be a little bit out of things, distracted, and just not as focused as per normal.

I have gone through my adoption section in the gallary and will be re-doing some art and re-selling some characters that I either bought or created.

I dont see the sense in having too many oc's
I have Malivous, Maci and my Naga boi Lance and thus far thats all I need.

I do also have Engel my Dutchi dragon but she is on a separate account on her own.

In the next few minutes I'll be posting up the first adoptable. And within a weeks time I'll slowly be re-doing art and posting them up on here for adoption.

If there is a character of interest you'd like to see done, let me know by sending a note.

A few people have asked me when or if I will do commissions again.

The answer is yes, I will be opening them back up hopefully soon.

I have become a lot better in my art and artstyle. I spent a lot of time during my absence learning a few different types of paint textures and blending methods. Which has come in handy.

My only issue is that I will need to balance it out somehow with my RL life and work.

I have been going through hell with legal stuff in regards to my current workplace and because of that its become difficult to figure out how I can go about things anymore. Since I cant actually do sick leave or anything without extreme punishment.

So what I am thinking if I open up commissions in the near future and only have 5 spots available. However I can only hope that people respect the fact I also have RL and sometimes I cant smash out artwork in a few hours.

Which means Commissions may take up to 5 days or so before I can complete it.

Its something I am still looking into.

And yes I will be open to NSFW stuff however I will put a post up in regards to all the rules and such when I get to that bridge so to speak.

In the meantime, food for thought and some info for those of you who have been curious.

I'm telling you, its tough to get even an accurate reference for sangheili let alone females.

Hence why you haven't seen much of my art as I have been messing around with anatomy stuff.

Based on Lore, Females are extremely skinny and slender. Which I mean I guessed would be the case but to me they need some muscle. Even being a little lean rather then just a twig to snap.

Thats based off canon artwork mind you. The twig part anyway haha

Maci coming from a farming state should be a little more on the stocky side, thick if you want to say.

Her bloodline is hardy, living in harsher conditions on Helios.
Just a mater of getting it right. Sometimes I draw her too cute with the beefiest muscle body builder babe vibes. I mean I am doing body building training currently haha but besides that, its frustrating attempting to draw something canon when there is barely any canon.

I hope to get something out soon of Maci and her armor. She really needs a whole redo. I've also watched the Halo Series on Paramount and the change of body texture has been tossing me off.

But hey, hot ass Var Gatarnai is showing off those pecks lol.

Either way, I am continuing to do art. I get two days off from work so I'm trying to utilize the time I have to work on it all.

How long has it been?

I can't remember the last time I was on here, or the last time I was actually dedicated to anything art related like I have been the past few days.

Why?

There has been so much...I wish I could tell you everything </3 but all i will say is that I got hurt a lot, and I learned to manage and survive. I learned to become stronger and better and although I discovered many broken parts of myself that may never be fixed, I also managed to become a warrior in my own way.

So so much has happened. I feel like everything here has just collected dust if it was actually physical.

So where do I start?

First of..MACI IS BACK!

I never knew that me and my artworks would have an impact on the community.

So lets be clear, I left that community because there was a lot of drama. Certain people with issues and so on and so forth.

Back then I was young, I got mixed into drama easily and I was too open minded and open hearted. Which left me vulnerable to be picked off, targeted and attacked.

So I gave up on Maci Durramee, I gave up on me.

Since then I tried furry stuff, anthros, Lance for example and not to mention...Malivous.

At some point, and I cant recall when, I just ditched art. I got to angry with myself trying to find my own style. I got angry because I couldn't do what I wanted to do.

Frustration and art block can be a dangerous thing.
Of course RL work gets in the way of things. I got so wrapped up in it that I forgot that Maci was my escape.

I wish I could explain everything to you all in just one journal, but its not as simple as that.

So let me put it this way.

Maci is back!

I'm going to re-write her story. It will be similar, but it will be my own and I hope someday I might get it published under 343 company one day :D
But thats just a very very big and crazy dream.

While I will be working on producing this new re-written version of Maci, I do hope to do some art of her again.

Where I went wrong was drawing Humans, anime and trying to mimic the styles. Which I just couldn't seem to do very well.

So now I am going to find me, I am going to bring Maci back to life and I am going to do it with all the strength I have left in me.

Because I never finished Maci's story.

I NEVER FINSIEHD HER STORY!!!!

Hey everyone.

It has been an extremely long time since I have drawn let alone even done anything with Furries since I kinda gave it all up.

But that alien in me is still here. I mean....you get what I mean right?

Hoping to get back to drawing and uploading art from time to time. Including Star wars, Mass effect, Halo...oh maybe even some Helldivers while I'm at it haha

None the less I have come back and hope to remain active. So just putting it out there :P

Hey everyone, I felt the need to write up this little ditto for you all because its been like over a year since I was last on here.

I only recently came on here to find some old art of my Dino oc, Lapus since I've started drawing a few dino stuff and then I was hit with a wave of emotions because I went through my old art and I miss drawing turians sometimes.

In short my art has improved a lot. I've been drawing a lot of human stuff hence why you don't see my art anymore. I'm currently obsessing over Jojos bizarre adventures and mostly Steel Ball Run.
So my art is literally all JJBA stuff
Pretty much non furry stuff so theres 0 point in posting it on FA. Hence why I went silent.

Theres also a lot of things I want to catch you guys up with.

Firstly I discovered I'm Demisexual but also Bisexual.
This year I've had some disappointing relationships with men so I think that may be why I've gone this way. But I've taken on a bit more of a masculine attitude to say the least.

So when I saw Malivous' reference I realized deep down he really was more of a Sona then any other fursona I've made or had.

Now coming to Engel, she was my main Sona but I've put her fursuit away and decided I wanted to leave the furry community.
The reason why was because I felt that my local furries didn't want me around them much, I felt left out because I wasn't super gay enough and at that time I was dating a guy who was an utter douche and furry hater so it had a massive impact on me.
I also found it scary to be in fursuit too. A lot of the times people would tug on my tail and it would actually hurt my back and I also started to see damage on the tail too, which was fixable with a bit of hand stitching, but I tried to tell people not to while in character and it just didn't help. The worst part is that it was mostly teenages doing this at Cons.
So I ended up canning her youtube channel because I didn't have time and I lost motivation. I also got a lot of hate because people thought I was trying to copy Pocari because I'm australian. I had one person who literally said my accent was fake, but like no man I'm Aussie. So I stopped all youtubing and lost anything for Engel.
I want to bring her back but I just feel a lose of connection with her at the current moment.

However being back on here and looking at Mal I miss him more then ever. He really speaks to my own true personality, being all Chaotic neutral and that.
Then when I logged in and saw all the comments and shouts and notes, I felt that it was only right to tell you all I'm ok.

With covid things have been hectic. Where I live we are having a massive covid out break so we are in strict lockdown and pretty much marcel law has been applied to us with curfews and all that. Its good that we have that but...we are still getting cases so people still aren't doing the right thing meaning lockdown will probably go through halloween.

In saying all this I changed jobs, well work place I suppose. I'm still a nurse, working hard, but I do night shift so you don't really see or hear much from me unless its on twitter with my art.
Like I dont even use Facebook that much anymore.

So yeah thats uh....quiet a novel I suppose I've written, but I want you all to know I'm safe and maybe...just maybe...I might come back to FA since I've logged on and looked at Mal's reference and cried a little.

Yep its one of those journals from me again. Been off for a while but decided I'd try to get back into things again.
I havent been drawing much but I have been drawing some LoK stuff so its gotten me back into the mood of wanting to draw more of Lance and even Engel in her abyss knight form. I'll probably post most of Engels stuff up on her own FA account though.

Hey all, its been a while. Ive kinda been on and off. I think the last update I did on here was 3 months ago.
In short I had a few issues occur in my personal life. It was hard doing nightshift as it left me only able to do a few things during my days off and I was more focused on getting out and finding love so to speak then I was with wanting to draw.

Now I have a lot more time on my hands I'm looking at redrawing and doing a lot more stuff again. I want to start drawing Malivous again and obviously Lapus and Lance. But mostly Mali, he was kinda my rockstar that got me up and out of the bin and I've neglected him for some time now which I feel pretty bad about.

Not just that but also I have improved with drawing and I think its time to rejoin the Turian verse for awhile to get back into things. Plus I have sooo many creative ideas to toy around with as well.

Oh plus side I am also thinking of returning Malivous back to his previous backstory of being some kinda shaman turian dude whos shady as hell with a bad demon/omen spirit attached to him. Just for all the lols in the world.

Ok so now that I'm back on the ball again with art and things like that I'm trying to also sort out my info and updates.

Firstly I've got the main page set up which is a little better. I just need to rework on commissions but I probably will not be doing that anytime soon thats for sure.

Secondly....I need to make an ID pic for Lance since he has become my new Fursona.

It'll drive me crazy until I do manage to get it done thats for sure.

Besides that I've been rping Lance over on Tumblr and sharing the more 'tame' artworks of his.

Also I'm on discord so if anyone wants to chat or anything like that, lemme know with a note.

Theres a lot to expect from me in the next coming days. I'm doing nightshift for the next few nights which means I'll be a bit back and forth but I'll also be drawing a lot of scrapy stuff so I may end up coming up with something for his icon...maybe....We shall see my dears :D

So a lot of personal things have happened and it kinda tossed me off a bit from all the things i love doing in the furry fandom and being an artist.
Plus work now being alot more and me doing mostly nightshift it does make things a lil hard to keep up with.
However I've got some new inspiration for artworks and such so it'll be good for me to make a come back.

Firstly will be sona wise.
I'll still have Lapus as my mine but Malivous will kinda be put to the side as I'm working on a male Naga for my fursona.
Yep male naga.....LOL also a possible personal female cobra too but thats all in the works atm.

Its been a while but I've improved a fair bit when it comes to art and hopefully it'll show when I start posting my art again on here.

So I have the next two days off work which means I can finally start cracking the whip and get a move on with some art. I have two sonas to finish off and reveal. Yes even though I said I wouldn't make anymore I did xD

On top of that I also have a few other characters up for auction, ones a dragon and the other one I'm still working on. I also still have a few Mass Effect ones to get through as there is one more Turian female that I'll be putting up for auction and an Asari as well. Plus all the sketches of Mal need to be finished off too.

So a lot to come from me and hopefully I can manage to get it done within reasonable timeing hehe.

I'm here. So I started work last week and I've been doing some early hour shifts which has made me a lil exhausted but fear not I am still working on some artworks slowly. Hoping to get a few up by this week. Just thought Id give you guys some updates about it all too.

Well I managed to get two turian ladies up for auction. idk how well it will go but we shall see.

On the other hand I'm also going to try and get up another turian female and ontop of that get around to some Asair and twi'leks too.

Although I think I may need a lil break. My hand is killing me. Also working on my Argonians reference and its taking forever I swear. lol. But fingers crossed.

Also started work so things are pretty slow on my end but will try to speed things up when I can.

Oh and yes I'm going to get commission info up hopefully later tonight or tomorrow.

I went over some of my older characters that I have and in all honesty I think I might put a few of them up for adoption.

Most of them are turians/alien species.

In all honesty the only time I have for is my Fursona, Engel, Malivous, Gremory, Rosenrot, Aylia, and Lapus.

For me thats probably enough so the rest I think I'm going to be clearing out, redoing some of their references and putting them up for adoption.
