I just got home from a concert seeing my favorite band, and the best band of all time. It was my very last KISS concert, I drove out with my mom to see it in Fort Worth, Texas. It was my last KISS concert because it is their last tour, and they have had "last tours" before but this one was real. It is there 50th anniversary, the End of the Road World Tour. They played songs I didn't even think they would play, all of my favorites! And my dad's favorites too. And they even had a silly Furry moment before Psycho Circus where they had everyone growl like an animal and that was really fun! It was such a fun concert, I just wish it wasn't my last one. I'm doing a double post of art tomorrow because this band is so special to me I've been saving up some pieces to post and I hope you enjoy them, the band means a lot to me, a really lot.
KISS has been my favorite band for as long as I remember. I listened to them with my dad all the time, and we had KISS shirts, and watched KISS movies, and played KISS pinball, and it was great. My dad was killed by a drunk driver when I was 13 when he was biking home from work when it was almost dark. Since then I have promised I would not drink even a single drop of alcohol in my hole life, to honor my two heroes: my dad, and Gene Simmons.
I have been crying some since I got home from the concert. I have been thinking of how this is the last chance and it will never happen again. I was always pretty sad how I would never see another concert with my dad, but now there will never ever be another KISS concert with him either. I wish I could of taken him. I wish he could of seen his all time favorite band, our all time favorite band, one last time. I really loved him, and I still miss him.
So here is a salute, to the Demon, the Catman, the Starchild, Space Ace, and the greatest band of all time, and to my dad. You are all legends, and you will always be missed. Love you dad.

Some Things About Me!

My name is not actually Cody but I hope I can be as fun and as cute as Cody Shibusky, I think we should all work to be as fun as our fur sonas :) I have been here for a while now so I wanted to say some things about me so we can be better friends! My real name is Victor Alan, but I go by Alan or Al after my late dad Alan.
I live with my mom and two dogs in Oklahoma and do data entry for a living. I have Aspergers Autism, also now called high functioning Autism! But it doesn't get in the way of my work or my life! My favorite things to do for fun outside of work are go bowling, watch movies, play video games, and draw! I like drawing and think I've got a lot better lately, but I still have ways to improve and I will keep working to be better and make more art for you to enjoy!
I make lots of art of my character Cody and mostly they are arts of him putting foods in his mouth, I saw it in Tom and Jerry when I was a kid and thought it was really funny and now I draw it a lot cause it's really funny! I love Cody and he is a special character to me, I wish I could meet him and hug him in real life! Shiba Inus are probably my favorite dogs tied with Huskys, and when I saw a Shiba Inu/Husky hybrid on google I just knew what I wanted my fur sona to be!
My favorite foods are Oklahoma style BBQ, especially beef! I also like tacos and Mexican food. My family is Roman Catholic but I consider myself to be Christian mostly. I live with my mom and I love her a lot, we do a lot together when we're both off work!
My favorite movies of all time are the Ice Age series, but I love most Disney movies, especially from Pixar! I think CGI animated movies are really cool and they can look really real! My favorite music is classic rock, and I love KISS, Guns n Roses, and Motley Crew the most. My dad's favorite band was KISS and he got me into them when I was a kid, and I am happy to be in the KISS Army FOR LIFE lol :) I love playing KISS pinball too when I find it to play!
I like video games like Mario and Pokemon and Crash Bandicoot and other classics! I don't like gore or violence or scary things but can do okay in some games like Minecraft or Zelda, or if it is really goofy violence like The Three Stooges, they crack me up! I don't like blood and gore though and will avoid games rated M and movies rated R and sometimes below that too if it looks scary! I really like Mario games cuz they are challenging sometimes but fun, and have great big worlds that look fun to explore, and it inspires me to think of worlds and characters of my own!
I love doing art and I've been having a lot of fun on this site and in this furry fandom! I hope to make a lot of friends and hope you all enjoy my art. Now that you know a few things about me I hope we can be friends!
