The future of my account
Posted 4 years agoIt's probably been quite evident I've been quiet for awhile, there's been a bunch of things behind the scenes that should be mentioned really.
First off, I lost a lot of motivation about 2 weeks after WoW's 9.2 released and then quit playing regarding lack of content, and the ongoing Blizzard company problems only solidified that. So motivation is a big part of why I'm not willing to do much art, if any.
Secondly, it's a bunch of irl issues that get in the way, which also affect the first point. I've done about 3 pieces of art but haven't uploaded them since I feel my work isn't any special compared to the many other good quality 3d artists out there, what I do here you could see somewhere else so I think to myself eh, my work doesn't get a whole lot of interest.
I thought about moving over to twitter with my current account ChimaeraCarnage but I honestly heard a few bad things about it so I haven't. I debated leaving FA and keeping my work 'private' and for myself which I originally intended anyway, but it's nice to get public interest and feedback.
TL;DR my art slowed down heavily since I stopped playing, I still really like WoW, just not it, nor the company's current state, and my mood has affected my work.
