What an extreme change in names, right? "Why'd I change it to Flamesnow?" I hear no one asking, but I'll answer anyways.
My online handle and character names have always revolved around the cold, and snow. (Yuki, japanese for snow. Neuge, from la neige, a french word.) I like the imagery and the chill of winter, as we all do I'm sure (especially during this time of year amirite?)
I used to be a very chill, subdued, timid person. These days I can see I'm a lot more fiery and explosive about certain things. I'm not as afraid of burning passion about subjects, and I actually revel in the imagery of elemental fire, unlike my younger years. I still have the gloomy, subdued, careful part of me in there, but there's a duality between hot and cold that I like to think about and play up sometimes.
Of course, this dichotomy exists in all (most) of us, and is far more complex than simply 2 sides, but hey, it's just a cool, fitting name for what I am today, I think.
Also a part of it is that I live in Texas, and pure Snow just isn't a fitting image for someone living in these harsh straits. Flame only comes naturally here :3

Feels like I should put another journal up, it's been a little while.
Yeah, so winter is over, I guess. Great, now I can look forward to the unpleasant spring and summer seasons. I know a lot of people feel in their element during the colder seasons, myself included, so it's always disheartening to face the end of winter.
Anyways, aside from that... I myself, am doing alright I guess. Depressed and falling behind on college work, stuff that no one cares about. I think that's about it for this journal.

So, Christmas is over, thank god, now we can all focus on the rest of this pleasant winter season. College looks promising this semester, all seems to be well, and I am feeling positive enough to not throw a huge bitch fit all over this journal.
On an unrelated note, it's my birthday today. I was hoping everyone would forget, but that didn't happen, obviously. Whatever!

Oh god, finals are coming up to rape me in the ass.
I hate christmas and the holidays so much. I hate buying gifts for bratty kids who don't deserve them. I hate having to spend time with my family. I hate my birthday. Oh my lord, someone help me.

On an unrelated note, I hope everyone can enjoy the holidays, which is a time to celebrate family, generosity, and the birth of Jesus (optional).

Thanksgiving is here, at least for us Americans. I know, it's kinda hard to remember, with all the christmas commercialism and movies plaguing the media since a month ago.

How did it get to be november already? the year is so close to being over, it just keeps slipping away. No matter, if you're like me, you hardly have time to appreciate the days, with work piling up on you that you were supposed to be doing all this semester.
