Just got back from seeing the movie. Anyone else seen it? Honestly, and this is coming from a truly avid fan of the series, it was decent. He definitely missed a few plot points that I personally wish he hadn't left out, but time limits considered Ill let it slide. I think my biggest problem was the lack of build up to the finale. It was pretty much "OK were here at the northern water tribe now...OMG FIRE NATION!!!" then Aang does his avatar state deal and THE END. lol. All in all I think he has got at least the ball rolling, Ill wait until the DVD release and a hopefully a directors cut. For what it is Id give it a 6-7 out of 10. It wasnt bad...but it wasnt great either. It was just alright. Any thoughts?

Oh and just as a forewarning, Aang in the movie is pronounced like aww-ng Sokka is now Sew-ka and Iroh is Ear-o. I know, i cried a little too, but take it for what it is and tell me what you think!

Hello all! So I finally got Photoshop CS2 back on my comp. Ive had a Wacom for the longest time but only just recently learned how to properly set it up in Photoshop. The thing is that now when I go to draw it is as if the tablet drawing surface is constrained to one particular are of my screen (pretty much the top left corner to about halfway down and to the right of my screen) Does anyone with wacom knowledge know how to get ti to where I can move my pen freely around the screen using the tablet and still have pressure sensitivity working? I would really appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks! :D

Ok...so Ive been really sucked into the whole SteamPunk style ATM, so expect a bit more of it for now. Porn is fun and all but it gets pretty boring after a while. So just thought I'd throw that out there to let you all know :D Also, if anyone else knows of good websites for SteamPunk art or costume designs Id really appreciate it. So far all I've been able to look up is pics on Google and things like that. ^^;

Hey all! Well, if you didnt know, I am planning on moving back out to Orange County to go back to school (FINALLY!) Vegas has been nice, but I have postponed going back for way too long. My plans are to go back to my old junior college for a semester or two (Santa Ana College w00t!) and then transfer to one of the cal states. Now so far I have a couple options that I can move too. However, they all involve moving in with family which is something I desperately want to avoid having to do. Not that we are on bad terms, I just want to live on my own for a while. If any of you who are in the OC (Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Fullerton area preferably) and may have a room for rent towards the end of August please PM or contact me by email! I would definitely think that having roommates who are furries would be a major plus! Also, it helps to break the ice when you already have something in common with each other. So this is a shout to anyone who might be interested, or even people who are planning on moving there as well and are considering sharing an apartment or something, please let me know!

In other news my ulcerated tonsil infection went away :D No more not being able to breath and having a tonsil that looks like its about to explode dangling in the back of my mouth! XD

The last couple of days my right tonsil has been swollen and it looks almost infects D:. My first assumption is that its a cancer sore, since I tend to get those quite a bit though usually they are either on my cheeck or under my lips. Ive always had tonsil problems even when I was a kid, I think its time for them to come out. And the shitty thing is I feel completely FINE so its not like I can call out sick or anyhting,its just another annyoance I now have to deal with >_<. If it doesnt improve int he next couple of days Im gonna have to go to the docotr...ugh :(.

On a birghter note  azurexavian and I will be going to Video Games Live in LA this June (June 17th to be exact) Im super excited, Ive wanted to go to one of these for years!

UPDATE! So yeah it turns out I have an ulcerated tonsil infection! Which pretty much means I have a really big REALLY painful canker sore on my right tonsil that is now infected! D: If the antibiotics i got from my doctor dont work, im gonna have to have them surgicaly removed >.>

Hey one and all out in furry land. Apologies for the long absences and no art as of late. Working full time again has me up pretty much every day working most of it. My first day off in two weeks was last Friday and even then I was called in LOL. I have been making headway on my move back to Cali, money is being saved in the bank, I have jobs that I can transfer, and financial aid is ready to be submitted. As for my art situation, I have been drawing a little here and there, nothing of major import to post though. I am now a full time worker again (woohoo?) funny thing is I now work at a pet store at the local mall, where I get to handle puppies and kittens and all sorts of other animals every day *bounces*, and I am also back working for a cafe,this time with Barnes and Noble. Being that I used to work for nearly 2 years for Borders, I have switched over to the dark side now lol. But hey, at least Ill get benefits again :D. Ill be working aprox. 45-50 hours every week, so my online time will be limited in what I can do for a while. I am trying to save up $3,000 before the end of Summer, so that I can move back to California as well. As for my commissions/commissioners, I have not forgotten about them I have just been hard pressed to find the right time to work since Im now up at 7:30am and working till 9pm some days *sighs*. I AM making progress though, and I will be posting them as I make more progress on each ones pics.

Well Lucky is still as old as ever, but it looks like that brief spell she went through the other day was only thankfully that...brief. I think she probably just ate something that really upset her stomach, but shes eating and going to the bathroom still so Im not feeling as freaked out as before. *goes and huggles her*

In other news, I had a second interview for Barnes and Noble the other day and am feeling rather confident on getting the position. Also my application for becoming a substitute teacher here in Las Vegas was approved so that's definitely a plus too. This doesn't mean I'm still not taking commissions however, and any and all work I get helps. Last night my dog Lucky started throwing up and having diarrhea this morning she still had diarrhea but now there is blood. She is 15 years old and I have a feeling its just soon going to be her time. She is asleep right now under my bed...who knows this may be the last time she does that. Wow so Im like...7 away from being watched by 1000 people 8O!!! That's quite a bit I really wasn't expecting to ever really reach that many, being that my art is average at best IMO ^^;. So I was invited as a guest of honor to my high school. Apparently they were awarded a scholastic merit award by Presidente Obama that only 40 other high schools in the country got. Since my class of 07 was the class that essentially got them to where they are now, and being that I was one of the top 13 in my class I was invited as a guest :) Ok...done rubbing my ego now XD

What this means is that Ill be spending Sunday and Monday (i.e. the 29th and 30th) of this month out in SoCal.  zotter and  rocko were kind enough to let me stay with them *hugs both* Ill be just hanging out the rest of the time with my best friend and others. Any local furries in the area wanna maybe hang out Sunday night and do something? Would love to meet some more of ya! :D Anyways...I'm done here, gonna go play some RE2 on the PS3 (just got it last night!!! ahhh so many memories ^.^)

So Ive been seeing a lot of artists talking about a 100 sketch project that they have begun. I know  donryu and several others have done them so far. I was curious to see if anyone would like to see me try at this? It definitely would get me to drawing a lot more frequently then I have been used to lately. Also I can always use a little extra $ heheh.

Here are the guidelines for anyone who would be interested if I decide to do this.

1) Each drawing is a single character sketch done digitally that I would then send to you via e-mail.

2)simple shading and shadowing with no color (unless otherwise talked out with me prior to drawing your pic)

3)Pinup/posing characters would be the standard composition.

4)The price for one of these is $5

If I can get at least 10 people to sign up for one at the get-go Ill definitely want to do more. So if anyone is interested, just comment here on my journal and Ill send you note to talk with ya!

PS: I am currently drafting the script for a comic that I will soon be working on. Anyone out there who is experienced at writing stories, I would like to have your input on the story Ive written so far. Note me for more details thanks!

On another note, Ive been drawing more now that my BF's situation has gotten better. Seriously, having to deal with the prison system puts a big cut on your creative thoughts LOL. Im also gonna start to be more active in my local furry group since I know Ive been lacking on that too as of late.

My boyfriend got out of jail and is now back here in Vegas with me! I'm so happy, I nearly cried when I heard his voice on the phone.
