I got logged out of Furaffinity on my desktop, and now it won't login at all. No new page loading, no error messages, no nothing. Just stays on the login page.
Mobile works fine, and told others are having the same issue but only in firefox
So it is something on the site or some update to the browser that broke.

General | Posted 3 years agoWanting to get the talk about Mayfield off my main page, so figured I post a journal about stuff I've been working on.

Essentially: I am trying to do some family research to locate a relative's name. One of my ancestors claimed his great grandmother had been full blooded Shawnee. But there are no records of her name.
AND THIS BOTHERS ME.
I had a lot of folks mention her existence to me growing up, but the fact that no one knew WHO she was never sat right. If we're going to talk about her, lets know her name, right?
Thanks to research done by my Great Aunt, we were able to narrow it down to 3 candidates. One named, and 2 that we couldn't find any further info on at all.
I kinda hit a road block on my side, as all sources I had for new info came up with nothing. I've put out feelers to a few groups on Facebook that might can help, but not heard anything back yet.
This isn't an obsession, but it is something I would one day like to accomplish. If my relative wasn't making the ancestry up, then she deserves to have her name remembered.
Anyways, that's one thing.
The other has been converting my personal archive of VHS/DVD/Mini-DVs of Old School Wrestling's shows from 2001-2010 to digital format.
You can see how THAT's going over on this Youtube playlist!. Got a nice selection up so far, and will be uploading more as they are finished. Some take a bit more conversion process, but it is worth it I think.

The Mayfield Tornado

I used to live in Mayfield, KY. For the majority of my life actually.
And seeing everything from the last few days after that tornado leveled downtown... I really still don't know how to process it. Places I grew up with, places that I frequented in my childhood and teen years, places people used for landmarks, all of it simply gone now. And knowing that I had loved ones just on the outskirts of that tornados path who might not be here if not for a couple miles of distance. Thankfully my loved ones are all safe, but not everyone is able to say that right now...
This is me asking that if you are looking for a good charity this season, please consider donating toward recovery from this.
