Not so merry Christmas
Posted 8 years agoAs you'd probably already guess from the title of this journal entry, it hasn't been an exactly Merry Christmas for me.
Again, it is related to problems in my home and it is the last Christmas I will spend in the house, so it was fairly painful to endure.
I'm gonna list the gifts I got as I usually do, but even though the gifts I got from my parents and my big sister were nice and all, I still don't feel that Christmas spirit because of the crap that's been going on:
1: The Punisher MAX Comics volume 1, its a collection of the first several issues of the MAX Comics take on the very violent anti-hero Frank Castle with his backstory set in the Vietnam War.
2: The Last Guardian on PS4, yeah I know I'm very late to the party when it comes to this game, but I've heard a lot of people praise the game so I thought it'd be interesting to try it out.
3: Guardians of the Galaxy collection on Blu-Ray, its the two movies in one small box basically and I have been wanting to see these movies for a while now.
4: A plastic bathtub that's also got a small hole on one side for easily draining it after you're done taking a bath.
5: A device called the Handy Heater which can heat up a room far more quickly and for less power usage then the bigger and bulkier heaters you might have in your home.
6: The Necronomicon: The best weird tales of H.P. Lovecraft, its a very VERY THICK black book that has several of Lovecraft's best stories in it and I'm gonna guess that the Call of Cthulhu mythos is in here too.
7: Barack Obama's memoars, technically not mine as this is something dad got via a book club he's a member of, but he thought that I should read it before he does.
8: Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 on the PS4, most gamers will recall that these HD collections were originally released on the PS3, but later Square Enix decided to re release these collections on one disc for the PS4 along with another HD remaster collection, that being the 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue that came with a HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance along with Kingdom Hearts x Back Cover, which is a cinematic based on Kingdom Hearts X, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage that sets up the future Kingdom Hearts 3.
9: An Aliens Colonial Marines figure, its not a big figure or anything but the detailing on it looks really well done and it seems to be quite posable too.
We had decided some time before Christmas that my big sister and her boyfriend will hand out some more Christmas gifts after they've finished moving to Sweden along with that we'll give them some gifts too, a later Christmas Eve combined with a moving in party so to speak, hopefully it will be a joyful one and not what this 24th of December has been for me.
As I said in the last journal entry, I am planning on moving out at some point next year and in with my big sister and her family, hopefully things will get better once that's done.

A horrid Christmas this year... (Slight update)
Posted 8 years agoWell, this year's Christmas is gonna be absolutely horrid because of some shit that's going on in my home.
And its gonna be the last one I celebrate here too as I am planning on moving out sometime early next year, gonna be moving in with my big sister and her family because of the shit that's been going on.
*Sigh* I have absolutely NO Christmas joy in me at this point, just depression and anger.
Slight update:
Well, it looks like there will be a form of Christmas after all, although I've still got that thing about what's been going on my mind, so it might still effect what enjoyment I might get out of this.
Plus as I said before, it is the last Christmas I will be celebrating here in this house, so there's that too.

The FCC vote to repeal Net Neutrality
Posted 8 years agoUnfortunately, as many have read already, Ajit Pai and the FCC decided to ignore the fact that at least 98 % of the people are not wanting to have NN repealed along with Republicans and Democrats speaking out against their actions.
HOWEVER, they still have to take it to court in order to get it passed and it might just get shot down by the judges, so the chance is still there, people.
Oh and before I forget, call your reps and tell them to stand up for Net Neutrality while also saying that you're in support of the H.R. 4585 legislation that Sean Patrick Maloney has created to block the FCC's rollback of Net Neutrality:

Net Neutrality is under attack again
Posted 8 years agoUnfortunately, people, we're at that point again where Net Neutrality might disappear forever, all thanks to that horrid prick Ajit Pai that Trump put in charge of the FCC.
Ajit very recently laid forth the plans he has for overturning Net Neutrality, which was put in place by Barack Obama during his two presidencies, and they're already planning to hold a vote for this on the 14th of December, Philip DeFranco has made a video about this whole thing:
If they manage to kill Net Neutrality, then ISPs will be able to decide what websites we're allowed to visit and which ones we shouldn't while also strangling the competition, thus creating a monopoly.
And just think about it, people, this could also mean the end of sites like DeviantART, Furaffinity and many others because of this.
HOWEVER, you can contribute to the fight to make the FCC see that the people of the US and the world will not allow this sort of thing, here are two websites where you can add your voice to the fight:
https://www.battleforthenet.com/
https://www.callmycongress.com/
The last one is especially handy for all of you who live in the US, you have to call your congressmen and tell them why overturning Net Neutrality is a really bad idea, make your voice heard.

A good birthday
Posted 8 years agoSo, I've had a rather good 28th birthday.
I got some nice gifts from my mom, dad, my big sister and her husband as well as from some family friends.
And here are the things I got:
A mug that looks like a handgrenade.
The collector's edition for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus on PC, already knew I was gonna get it from my big sister and her husband, but it was a thing I really wished for, it comes with a Action-Man sized figure of the main character Blazkowicz and a few weapons as well as a jacket for him to use.
A Wolfenstein t-shirt from mom and dad.
Some new boxer shorts.
New pair of jeans.
A rather funny mummy plush toy that my big sister's husband bought at Ikea.
Some money from a family we've been friends with for years.
And finally, Yakuza 0 for the PS4, really love this series.
All in all, it has been fun, but I've got more to look forward to tomorrow as I'm gonna be picking up my copy of Call of Duty:WWII for PC at the local GameStop store.

Birthday coming up
Posted 8 years agoWell, my 28th birthday is pretty much just around the corner, just so people know.
Back into the madness once more
Posted 8 years agoSo, earlier this week I stopped by GameStop to pre-order The Evil Within 2 for PC.
Once again you will be playing as Sebastian Castellanos, who has hit some pretty damn rough times after the events of the first game, nobody back at the police department believed his story about what happened back at the asylum, the experiments that were conducted there at the orders of some mysterious group known only as Mobius and he was let go from the force, which only made him throw himself even deeper into uncovering the truth.
He however doesn't get any more leads, which leaves him emotionally broken and he even resumes his old habit of drinking to try and cope with the whole thing.
That is until Kidman, his former partner and one of few survivors of the horrors at the asylum, shows up, telling Sebastian that his daughter, Lily who he thought had died in a fire, is stil alive but Mobius had gotten their filthy hands on her and are using her as their main test subject in new attempts to create a STEM world, which is a machine that plunges people into a mindscape where just about anything can happen which both Kidman and Sebastian knows all too well.
Problem is though that something has gone very wrong with this STEM world, it is falling apart at a rapid pace and many of those who are part of the STEM world have turned into monsters and psychopaths.
Even worse is that there's at least two very evil individuals who are after Lily for their own sick purposes, one is a manipulative priest by the name of Theodore who wants to create the "perfect" world with the use of her and the other is a serial killer called Stefano Valentini who uses a camera to capture people in a never ending loop of their final moments in life, which he considers to be art.
Both of these madmen have got creatures and minions that stand in the way of Sebastian, he will have to at some point confront them and put an end to their madness before they can get to his daughter.
Here are some trailers that show both of these psychos:
Another interesting thing about the game is that the upgrading system is back, but this time however you can't upgrade the weapons with the green goo you get from defeating enemies, but rather with weapon parts that are scattered about, which can also be used to craft ammo on the go if you so desire, the goo will still be used for upgrading Sebastian's physical abilities.
They describe it in this video where they answered questions from fans about the game:
The game is due for release on Friday the 13th, which is kinda amusing considering that many consider it to be a day of bad luck.
On that note, I leave with one final trailer that shows some of the action-packed moments:

Mass shooting in Las Vegas
Posted 8 years agoAs most are aware of right now, there's been a mass shooting in Las Vegas.
A crazy 64 old man shot at people who had gone to the Route 91 Harvest Festival, witnesses say he fired "clip after clip after clip after clip" into the crowd from a 32nd floor hotel room, many of the festivalgoers were there with their wives and kids to have a good time.
The death toll has risen from 20 to 50 people over the course of an hour and at least 400 are injuried, the shooter himself was killed by cops after they stormed the room, officers reported that there were a lot of full auto weapons inside the hotel room.
https://www.rawstory.com/2017/10/la.....n-of-interest/
It is a horrific tragedy this and its not helped by that the National Rifles Association are gonna start lobbying later today for making silencers legal to buy at gun stores, many on Twitter have condemned the utter silence from them along with expressing disgust at that they're gonna start doing lobbying for something like that after a mass shooting.

Two interesting pieces of gaming news
Posted 8 years agoSo, there were two very interesting pieces of gaming news this week.
I'll start off with one that caught me completely off guard and that is a remake of the PS1 hidden gem Fear Effect.
This remake is being made by the same people who are currently working on the next entry in the franchise, Fear Effect: Sedna, and they announced it on their Facebook page with a CGI teaser trailer to give people a taste of what we can expect to see in terms of graphics.
They've promised that the remake will have not only improved graphics but also better controls, those who have played the originals may recall that the games used tank controls like the older Resident Evil games and this could be quite frustrating considering just how challenging the games were.
Here's the teaser:
As you saw at the end, this remake is coming out on the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, so everyone gets a chance to either relive a classic or even try it out for the first time.
And onto the other piece of gaming news.
THQ Nordic today revealed their newest IP which is called Biomutant, although there had been a leak a few days earlier when someone posted a photo of an advert for the game in a German magazine.
The game describes itself as an "open-word, post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu fable RPG" with one very VERY interesting gameplay mechanic, this is what's written about it on the game's Steam store page:
"You’ll be able to re-code your genetic structure to change the way you look and play. This will of course affect your attributes and in addition to this, exposure to bio-contamination in the world will lead to physical mutations like mantis-claws and barbed tails, while exposure to radioactivity found in bunkers from the old world will affect your mind and unlock psi-mutations like telekinesis, levitation and more."
So, yeah, as you read there, you will be able to basically mutate new powers in order to perhaps have a fighting chance against the other mutants that roam this strange new world.
And another interesting thing to note is that the game's developer, Experiment 101, consist of former Avalanche Studios employees who have in the past worked on the Just Cause games as well as the extremely enjoyable Mad Max video game.
They've released a CGI trailer that shows a little bit of the whole mutation thing as well as the protagonist himself:
There's no release date yet, but it is supposed to come out sometime next year, so this might be something worth keeping an eye on.
Update:
Heh, not even a day after the announcement trailer for Biomutant was released, we get a short gameplay trailer that shows us what to expect out of the game:

Net Neutrality in danger
Posted 8 years agoAs most are aware of, the FCC, under the leadership of Ajit Pai, are trying to abolish Net Neutrality and they've been using some extremely shady tactics to make it look like that the people are in favor of destroying this legislation that prevents ISPs from creating a monopoly with their services.
Have a look at this video that game reviewer Total Biscuit made about this whole thing, he also has links to several sites in the description where you can help to fight against the FCC and keep Net Neutrality:
Make no mistake, people, if it gets abolished, then internet as we know it will cease to exist and we might just end up losing sites like DeviantART and Furaffinity because of it.

The Evil Within and Wolfenstein sequels on the way!
Posted 8 years agoOh hell yeah, Bethesda has revealed at their press conference that there are sequels on the way for The Evil Within AND Wolfenstein: The New Order!
First off, here's the trailer for The Evil Within 2:
That is quite clearly Sebastian Castellanos, the protagonist from the first game, going through yet another nightmare like the one he and a few others faced in the first game.
I'm gonna have to assume that Ruvik will play some part in all this madness, if not then it could very well be that mysterious organisation that had him and Marcelo Jimeneze create the STEM machine that's behind this.
But one thing is certain, we don't have to wait long considering the release date is Friday the 13th of October.
And now onto the Wolfenstein 2 trailer:
Not gonna lie, this got me really REALLY HYPED up, it looks like this sequel is gonna carry on the same level of intensity like The New Order, but this time we might just be killing some KKK scumbags as well if you look in the trailer.
Oh and of course as you also might have noticed in the trailer, the good old dual wielding mechanic is back and that means we're gonna have some pretty intense firefights with dual wielded full auto shotguns.
I did have a quick look at the game's Steam store page and there is gonna be a season pass, but considering the high quality work that Machine Games have put out with The New Order and its standalone prequel The Old Blood, I think it is safe to assume that its gonna be great extra content.
Plus this is yet another October release as you saw near the end, the 27th of October, which is two weeks after The Evil Within 2.
Bethesda went in with a huge bang, really outdoing EA's very VERY lackluster press conference.

Another attack in England
Posted 8 years agoUnfortunately, terrorism has reared its ugly head once again and it haven't been long since the suicide bombing in Manchester.
A group of 3 men drove a van straight into a crowd of people on London Bridge before stepping out and attacking people at Borough Market.
At least 6 people are dead, which include the maniacs themselves as the London police shot them when they got to the scene, and 48 or more are in hospitals across the city, many of them are reported to be in critical conditions.
Here's a Huffington Post article that will update as time goes by:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry.....ushpmg00000009
It however doesn't stop there as Trump, the vile orange freak, is attempting to use the attacks to further his xenophobic and ignorant agenda, that being reinstating the stupid Muslim ban:

What the hell is happening to our world?

Zootopia 2 on the way
Posted 8 years agoIt is official, there is gonna be a sequel to Zootopia, the smash hit of 2016.
And thankfully it will all be done by the same team, so its most certainly gonna be at least as great as the first one.

Suicide Bombing in Manchester, England
Posted 8 years ago*Sigh* There's been another possible terrorist attack in Europe, this time it's happened in a concert house in the city of Manchester in the UK.
At least 22 are dead, many of them are unfortunately children, as well more then 50 people are injured.
The explosion happened right at the end of a concert that American singer Ariana Grande held, her music is very popular among children and teens, as well people were leaving the concert hall for the night.
A witness reported seeing nuts and bolts strewn about around the area where the bomb went off and police say they've found the body of the man they suspect to be the suicide bomber, but they haven't revealed his identity as of yet.
There's more info here in this article:

CoD goes back to WW2 and ransomware attacks
Posted 8 years agoSo, while I was picking up my copy of Prey on the day it got released, I decided to place a pre-order on this year's Call of Duty which is gonna be going back to its World War 2 roots.
The game will place you in the boots of private Ronald "Red" Daniels of the United States Army of the US 1st Infantry Division and you'll be thrust headfirst into the conflict with the landing at Normandy.
Interestingly, there's been talks about that the game will feature a more tactical approach in the single player, there won't be any regenerating health and, according to Glen Schofield who is the co-founder of Sledgehammer Games, "You have to worry about every bullet".
Its also been revealed that the game will feature a co-op campaign that's completely separate from Daniels' with you and friends going up against nazi zombies, can't really have a CoD game without zombies nowadays, the plot for that campaign involves that Hitler and his lackeys are getting more and more desperate as the Allied forces close in on Germany from the West along with the Soviet Union coming at them from the East, so they resort to bringing back the dead to life and now you gotta fight through these hordes before they overrun the world.
As for the multiplayer, there's gonna be some interesting changes, one of them is that there's gonna be a social hub area where you can go about and meet other players before joining a match along with adjusting your loadouts and such.
There's also gonna be Divisions that you can pick in the multiplayer as well, like Infantry and Armored Divisions, the latter could possibly indicate that there's gonna be vehicles for you to pilot on the battlefield, the last CoD game I remember doing this was Call of Duty: World at War where you could on certain maps find tanks that you could jump into and drive, the vehicles even had their own perks you could choose from in the loadout window.
They've only released one trailer for the game, but its apparently in game graphics and it honestly looks really damn good:
I did get a code for the multiplayer beta which is supposed to be happening soon on the PS4, so I'm most certainly gonna have a gander at that, plus its gonna be nice to play a CoD multiplayer that's more boots on the ground then the recent ones have been with their futuristic setting and jetpacks.
But on a more serious note, there's been a wave of ransomware attacks around the world, at least 99 countries have been hit by this one virus called WCry and some of the targets have been hospitals in the UK which have had entire wards shut down along with patients being turned away because of this.

Possible terror attack in Stockholm
Posted 8 years agoI just heard something dreadful, there's been a suspected terrorist attack in Stockholm just now.
A truck was according to reports hijacked and forced to drive up on the sidewalk Drottninggatan, there's reports of people having been killed and many injured.
The entire street is closed off and there haven't been any info, yet on whether the police have captured or killed those responsible for the attack.
I'll post a link here to a Huffington Post article that's gonna be updated as more info is released:

The Last City has fallen, but we will rise again
Posted 8 years agoSo, I had my dad stop by GameStop to place a pre-order on the newly announced Destiny 2, the collector's edition even, but holy hell its gonna be one of those really expensive ones as it costs about 2 thousand and 800 Swedish Kronor, I had asked dad to put 50 kronor on the pre-order but he told me when he gave me the receipts that it wasn't enough and he had to put 300 kronor on it.
Now there aren't many details out about the game, but what has been revealed so far is that the Last City has fallen because of the Cabal Empire invading and the civilians along with us Guardians have been forced to flee for the time being.
Unfortunately the attack destroyed the city's armory, where all our armor and weapons were kept, so we are gonna have to start anew along with that, somehow, our powers have been lost as well, possibly perhaps because of the Cabal hurting the Traveler.
Anyway, the collector's edition for the game will come with a lot of goodies, like a solar powered USB charger, a paracord, a solar blanket and a Frontier Bag that can be worn as either a backpack or a messenger bag.
It also comes with the usual SteelBook case that you'd expect for a limited or collector's edition, but that also comes with stuff like a schematic for possibly Cabal war machines, collectible postcard images, a booklet with secrets about the Cabal Empire and pawns modeled after the Cabal Empire's military units.
However, there's also that the collector's edition comes with the season pass for the game, which is really nice since a lot of collector's editions nowadays tend to come without the season pass, thus forcing you to pay extra, the only latest game I can think of that did a thing like this is Tom Clancy's The Division from last year, there's also some digital bonus stuff like a Legendary Sword, a Legendary Player Emote and an emblem that's got a Cabal Empire theme.
Also, it has been confirmed that the game will come to PC as well, although there are rumors going about that Sony is gonna force Bungie to make it console exclusive for a year or so before it comes to PC, but these are just rumors and until we get an announcement from Bungie either confirming or denying that, just treat them as rumors.
Finally, here's the teaser and reveal trailers for the game:
The game isn't due for release until the 8th of September, but they're gonna hold a beta very soon, starting on the PS4, for people to test out the game.
Oh and also as you might have seen in the Rally the Troops trailer, they're gonna do a livestream on the 18th of May showing gameplay from the game, so it might be a nice idea to mark that date on your calendars.

A space station full of shapeshifting aliens
Posted 8 years agoSo, my dad helped me pre-order Arkane Studios' upcoming Prey for PC at the local GameStop store.
I'll admit I was not so interested when the game was announced a few years ago, especially after the cancellation of the sequel to Prey that was supposed to be open world with parkour, but I got more and more intrigued by this game's premise.
The game takes place on a space station called Talos 1 where a company called TranStar is conducting research on a mysterious alien race called the Typhon that was first discovered by the USSR on their Vorona-1 satellite when it stopped transmitting for no apparent reason.
They sent up some cosmonauts to see if it was some sort of technical failure, but when they made the decision to open it up, the cosmonauts were attacked by the aliens hiding inside it and killed.
There's more backstory in this video here:
You will be playing as Morgan Wu, you're given a choice at the start if you want to be a male or female version of Wu, who is one of the very few remaining living humans on Talos 1 after a massive containment breach has occurred and now all the Typhons are on the loose.
One of the Typhons you will be going up against are headcrab-like things called Mimics that are able to, as you would have guessed from the name, mimic objects in the environment and they generally tend to stick together in order to ambush and overwhelm their targets.
Bethesda and Arkane made a video that gives you some glimpses at what types you will be going up against over the course of the game:
But one thing that's gotten a lot of people interested in the game is the fact that you will be able to get the same abilities like the Mimics, as in assuming the form of an object like a coffee mug, banana and many others, even sentry guns and you will be able to shoot as well.
However, they've brought up that there are consequences to that you upgrade yourself with these Typhon abilities, you become less and less human which will make all the security systems onboard the station think you're one of the aliens, but worse still is that the Typhon will notice you more and more which will attract the attention of a massive type called a Nightmare that can squeeze through doorways fairly easily.
The game is due for release on the 5th of May and I'm looking forward to this, certainly looks more fun then a certain other sci-fi game that just came out.
As a final note, I'm just gonna leave the very latest trailer for the game that Bethesda and Arkane have made along with a sample from the game's soundtrack, which is composed by Mick Gordon who worked on the soundtrack for the Doom 2016 game:

Like a Ghost
Posted 8 years agoSo, today I went and pre-ordered Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands on Steam.
The game looks really promising with its open world and focus on co-op, there's not gonna be any player versus player like in The Division.
As for the plot, you will be playing a member of the elite unit Ghost Recon that gets sent down to Bolivia to take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel, who have very much seized power of the state and even have a local paramilitary force called UNIDAD in their pockets.
Your task is to take down the entire drug cartel, but you can't take on their leader right away as he's hidden away somewhere, so first you have to go after his lieutenants and bring them down so that he's eventually forced to come out of hiding, each mission you undertake can be completed however you like, seems that Ubisoft borrowed a bit from Metal Gear Solid V in terms of open ended missions.
Each mission provides you with different ways to complete them, if you're really skillful you might be able to sneak through an entire base without the alarm going off and none of the guards even catching sight of you or your teammates.
One of your most important gadgets is a drone that you can deploy at any time to recon an area or base, you can also upgrade it to be equipped with explosives, EMP or as a medic of sorts during combat, so its a very versatile tool that can change the course of a mission if used properly.
You can choose to do these missions in single player, which gives you three AI teammates to order around, or in co-op with other players online, which is the best way to play a game like this especially with friends.
Now, you will be able to customize your Ghost operative to your liking along with the many weapons you will obtain as seen in this trailer:
The clothing is purely cosmetic though, it doesn't affect visibility or anything, although hardcore tactical players will still go for the ghillie suit when sneaking through the jungles to add a sense of authenticity.
And if you've played Future Soldier, the previous Ghost Recon game, then you might see that the gunsmith mode is back and with more options for you to pick when customizing your weapons.
Also, here's a cinematic trailer that gives you an idea of just how brutal the Santa Blanca cartel is along with an interview from Polygon where members from the Ubisoft team discuss the authenticity of drug empire themes:
It certainly looks very promising and they're actually gonna hold an open beta for the game on the 23rd which will run till the 27th this month.

Pre-ordered Nioh and a nasty Steam exploit
Posted 8 years agoSo, I yesterday decided to pre-order on the PlayStation Store the Dark Souls-esque game Nioh, it is made by Team Ninja, most famous for their Ninja Gaiden games, and it is set in a fictional Dark Fantasy version of the late Sengoku period where you play as a Westerner by the name of William who comes to Japan in search of a mysterious foe.
Along the way, he is recruited by Hattori Hanzō, a servant of Tokugawa Ieyasu, to help in fighting the Yokais that have shown up around the land and are now rampaging ontop of the unruly ronin and bandits that are lurking in the countryside.
I had a chance at playing the game when its Last Trial was on the PlayStation Store, gave me a pretty good impression.
Here's a trailer that shows in game footage and some of the action you can expect:
The game is due for release tomorrow, I'm currently pre-loading it and so I should have it downloaded and installed real soon.
But on to a more serious matter.
I just saw a rather worrying piece of news on Steam that was shared via a group I'm a member of, apparently there's a very nasty exploit going about where your account can be exposed to phishing, malicious script execution and so on by either opening or even simply viewing profile pages of other Steam users.
The group had shared a link to a Reddit thread with a bit more info about this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comm.....lated_exploit/
I highly urge that people be extra careful on Steam now.
Update:
Seems they actually have fixed the exploit, so that's a relief:

Green Day's latest song
Posted 9 years agoSo, I saw earlier this evening the official lyric video for one of Green Day's newest songs called Troubled Times and it certainly is spot on in regards to what horrible and troubled times we live in:
Green Day have made it quite clear in the past that they don't think highly of Donald Trump, even back when he was just a reality TV "star", but they're really letting the punches fly now at him since he's gonna be president which is a very terrifying thing indeed since he's shown to be so immature in handling things, especially when you look at how he's been raging about Alec Baldwin making fun of him on Saturday Night Live several times now.

Happy new year, I suppose...
Posted 9 years agoWell, it is 2017 now, so I should happy new year.
But it honestly doesn't feel happy nor a new year for me, at all.
There's been things at home that makes it feel like its gonna be the same shitty year as always for me....

Goddammit 2016....
Posted 9 years agoWhy the hell is the year 2016 still being a complete and utter dick to everyone?
Just heard that Carrie Fisher, the actress who is most well known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies, have passed away at the age of 60 following a heart failure she had suffered during a flight.
According to witnesses, they were able to keep her alive and get her to the hospital, but it seems that there was some tremendous stress on her heart which was too much for her to handle. :(
We also lost the musician George Michael who passed away at the age of 50 in his sleep due to a heart failure and now the author of Watership Down, Richard Adams, have also passed away.
Although I think it was pretty much expected that Richard Adams was gonna pass away since he was 96 years old, but Carrie and George were not that old and its so damned sad...
