So..so. I'm gunna' be attending Anthrocon this year and doing an artists table. Kinda a first time all around for me. So, I'm intensely planning out everything I'm going to do and need to do. How, what and so on. Prices? Sizes? Batches? Suggestions are awesome or even advice of any kind that I maybe looked over. I have a few ideas on pre-made stuff and some freebies for peeps. I thought pre-made feral creature mixes would be cool set up like info cards. I'd like to hear what buyers would like to see from me maybe. Get a good idea. But, how the con is set up this time around is tables are being drawn by a lottery system. So, you get one day for so many hours at the least. They really want to make sure everybody gets a chance at it. So, they won't do the drawing till may so I might have to abandon or change ideas along the way.

For my table any commissions or work that I receive besides the 5% the con needs to collect are toward helping out a wonderful artist.  majorra See that icon? That chick. That goes for any other commissions I'm currently taking through FA as well until the goal is met. So, instead of being a douchebag taking up space to line my own lint filled pockets I'd rather be going and doing work towards a better purpose.

I will make another journal once I figure out a solid routine and maybe hear any more suggestions. So, I'm just excited all around to be going. Haha.

Apparently, I'm close to 5000 views. Which, I don't know how it got there. I think the last time I looked at it I was only near.. what... maybe 3000? Under that? Haha, well hm... I think I'll do a Kiriban.

Okay, so hi guys, got a little request with a story if anyone can help out.

Mothers day is coming up and I wanted to do something really nice for my mom. We've had a strained relationship for awhile and I'd just really like to do something personal for her. As in, get her a gift of art. A traditionally drawn portrait of the family dog that has passed away. Daisy (our boxer), meant a lot to the whole family. My parents used to raise, breed and show boxers but when my sister and I were born they sort of fell out of it. They had gotten my sister and I a boxer and that was our Daisy. She was really a live wire, smart, and all that great stuff people like to brag about their pets. Sadly, though, her life was cut short from a contaminated kibble outbreak in the United States. We were able to get a few more happy and healthy years with her, but eventually her medicine stopped working and she started bleeding out. After a few hours of agony and stress, you know, gotta stop the clock. It was horrid, months of waking up alone or waking up to my mom crying on me, cause Daisy slept with me every night.

So, here is the jist I need some help finding some FA artists that draw in a realistic style or close too it. I searched a few that sadly were closed, and whispered some that were offering trades still. The reply from the trades was pretty much, "well you don't really have an art style or skill of any interest to me so, no" Hah, I can't blame em their right, so I'm throwing out the whole trade idea cause thats going to get me no where. If anyone can link me artists they follow or know of, that'd be great. I wanted it for mothers day but you know, I'm in no rush and I don't want to be. I rather just be able to end up with the art work in my hands.

For those of you TL;DR : Link me some realism artists on FA that have commissions open. KKTNX.

Side note: Anyways, it seems my Magikarp screenshot titled: USELESS.(it was my featured submission) That I've had up for god knows how long that I made from Spore got removed. xD Not allowed apparently even if I made it. I don't know how else to show something I MADE from spore with out it being a screenshot. Pretty much the same thing if I drew it by hand I just used the creature creator. >> Pretty sure it was categorized as fanart but oh well. I just liked having it there. =|

Also, I'm kind of sad I don't get critique really anymore. It seems like not many people on FA care to really make effort in comments unless theres a crudely drawn dick. I think thats another reason I'm not so keen on submitting stuff much lately. I want to hear feedback but I end up giving myself my own. Saaaaaay something, even if its, you look like shit gtfo FA. >:C At least I can get some motivation from that.

PS. There are so many sanitation violations in Spongebob Squarepants kitchen. SO MANY. My servsafe certificate says so.

Yeah, so I'm looking for some practice. I'm a years worth out of the loop of drawing. I did up a sketch earlier today I'll be working on the stream. Yay! Late Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it. To those who don't, share the holiday spirit. <3 If you could. I would appreciate it if you don't TLDR this journal and then comment on what you don't know.

Last night, Christmas Day, I left home with my sister rather late to go to my grandma's because she is sort of paralyzed from the waist down now. So she can no longer move or come over. So, we went to have Christmas at her house last night. We came home and found that my house was robbed. The back door was forced open and they ravaged every room and closet. My parents and sister lost all of their stuff, but they didn't get mine. We spent the night cleaning.. had to cancel cards that were taken. My sister is so heart broken. My mom tried to blame for the robbery. She hates every friend I have and just auto-blamed my friends. I'm so sad for them but angry that she could just throw that at me. Yeah, cause I hate you so much that I asked someone to come rob us. That's totally it mom. So, yeah. That was my Christmas. They pretty much took money, cards, and jewelery. Anything that fit in their pockets. They are worried they might come back, because the only thing left of value are my game consoles and someone this morning reported some weird car patrolling our street. We live on a dead end so it's not paranoia. No one should be on our street unless they live here.

So, I'm really sorry to everyone that I haven't been on before that. I had college finals to take care of and my grandma's worsening condition. I couldn't be playing on FA. If anything I took my time to relax on WoW with my mate. Eh, I feel like such a jerk sort of. Everything I was working on. The drawings I had on the side are ruined. The papers were thrown everywhere and stepped on. My tablet is cracked. They threw it on the ground. I don't know if it works or not. So, I have to re-do them. I really apologize for all those that had requests waiting. Those that took commissions. I'm glad I told you guys not to pay yet. You won't have to pay. I will finish them but I don't want you paying for them.

I'll try for commissions later so I can make money back for what was taken. I want to gift my sister for what she lost. I know it will mean a lot to her to get this necklace back that was taken.


So, Christmas Eve was okay. My dads family came over to my house and my aunt gave me the Game of the Year Edition of Oblivion. Lot's of fun I plan to have with that game. I'm trying to install it now, but my cracked version is getting in the way. So deleting files and cleaning the house still.
