Ya, I'm back from FC 2010, and it was officially KICK-ASS.

Yes. Of course I had a good time, even though it was only my third furry con and only the second one I spent more than one day at. I met so many great people there, and saw some, er, weird stuff go on due to the fact that there were basically 2500 (give or take) people there and some of them don't know how to act.

Out of the 50 or so pictures I took, I will upload maybe 10-12 that are any good. >_> I just bought the camera a day before leaving for FC and there were some issues. Have you ever tried to take pictures while at a con? Right. And I tried drawing, but couldn't focus well enough to produce anything I'm gonna upload here. >_> I need to be at my own desk, listening to music (or sports, lol) and surrounded by my stuff in order to come up with anything good. I don't see how artists at the dealer tables can whip out sketch after badge after commish what with all the distractions and racket going on - you have my respect, for sure.

I'm at FC right now omgomg. I am SO HUNGRY D: But who's complaining? Not me. Registration took only 35 minutes, I expected it to take an hour. A positive attitude is very helpful. And it's so cool to have seen and been seen by at least 20 people I know. AWESOME. I am not such a stranger this time.

OK, time to find a store and get some food that doesn't cost a wing and a thigh....

Yeeeah, it's coming up! Haha, it's gonna hurt next week when I get back to my classes, wow. There will be some catch-up work for sure.

I've only been to FC once before, when I went for one day back a few years ago. Only there for six or eight hours, and my head was spinning when I left. I didn't know anyone there at all, went by myself taking public transit because I lived in the outer reaches of the Bay Area region, and left before the serious partying began for the night.

This time, it's gonna be awesome. I know at least a dozen people that I've met in real life who are going, and another whole bunch from FA and other strands on the web. This time, I will not miss the Gryphon Panel. I will be lurking in the dealers' den and will check out the art show. I will probably bug ya if I see you, in other words. ^.^ If I'm not chatting with people, I will be somewhere in the periphery of the main areas, drawing. Yes, I will be a total art whore, and I'll work pretty cheap, hopefully I will make enough to buy some of YOUR art. :p

If anyone wants to get a hold of me while we're there, (maybe for lunch/dinner/a drink or whatever) message me here - I will have my computer with me and I check FA like 3 times a day, at least. I do not have one of those fancy phones yet (money is instead going to acquisition of new camera) so instant communications might not be happening from my side. I'm going to attempt to get my phone service upgraded Tuesday and we will see what happens with that.

So, I will update this Tuesday night!

I now have home internet again, so no more schlepping around the neighborhood to the coffee shops to (surreptitiously) check my FA page. :}

Still wish I had more time to draw. >_> Still wish it didn't take me a week to get a picture done.

Looking forward to FC! Hopefully I will run into a bunch of people there whom I only know from the internet, and hopefully I won't run into anybody I know from real life. Heh.

I've been scarce lately, and haven't really kept up on things around here to any real extent. Not because of lack of interest, just mainly due to a) being busy and b) lacking home internet. Oh yeah, lack of moneyz also plays a part. I'm not broke, just plowing along with 'just enough' to make ends meet.

I'm saving some dinars for FC, though. I'm really burned about not making it to Rainfurrest this fall, sorry 'bout that folks, but I just couldn't make it. I haven't been to Seattle for like three years now, and it's just up the road a piece.

Hmm hmm hmmm... Anything else? Oh yeah, art. Arting continues, but at a sluggish pace. I'm busy with school, but there is time for arting if I just stay focused and try to get something done each time.

My house internet service is down. No shinies for such a luxury right now, since we really need to replace the non-working clothes washer first, pay the electric bill, then the water bill and oh yeah, rent.

Just normal, typical, everyday life stuff. It still sucks balls,though.

SO. That means uploading is gonna be a problem for a little while. I can, of course, scan and store art on my HD (which I should clean out, too, there's getting to be a lot of stuff on there >_>) but uploading to dear old FA (and DA)
is gonna be a problem, what with the AWFUL slowness of the net in the local coffee places.

I will be bugging local furs to let me bring my laptop over and use their connection, maybe that'll work, especially if I throw in a free badge or something. I just spent a Benjamin on new Tombow markers, too. ^^ I wanted Copics, but that would have run me three times that, and my last name is not Rockefeller. Tombows work pretty well, blend adequately, don't bleed through (I tried them on drawing paper, too, not on smooth 'marker' paper), and at $2 a pop, it's pretty easy to replace a color or get extras.

OK. going to furry campout tomorrow. :D That should be a hoot. Details soon to follow!

Evidently, he's been turned in by some of his neighbors who want the evil bird sent packing. Here's what happened on court day:

All right, got my commission info up. Awesome. I've never taken commissions online before, so this is the start of what I hope will be a rewarding career, er, hobby:}

Hello there, and welcome to my little nest here. I joined years ago, and barely used the acc at all. In the meantime, I've done a few pieces and sketches that belong here, and not much of anywhere else, except maybe on your wall:) All trad-art, for now at least. My digital art is not much to squee about, but I feel like I'm on the verge of becoming competent with the noble Prismas.

Anyhoo, I'm just a fledgling here. I will apologize in advance if there are issues with full-views: I need to work on sizing. I like to draw big... What I'm after is saleable art that peeps LUST for, and I'll work on getting prints available.
