To adopt, leave a comment with the name of the user that you would like to draw a badge for. You have not officially adopted that user until it is confirmed by a mod (it may be several hours or next day). Try to look at other comments to make sure that nobody else has adopted that user first. You have two weeks from the day you adopt to turn in your adoption badge, After that time, if the user has not received a badge, they will be re-adopted to a different user. I will not chase you down to find out if you are still working on it. Mark your calendars.
In the event that a blacklisted user turns in their badge for an adopted user, the adoptive badge can still be drawn and given to them, considering that they had to wait an uber long time to get their original.
We need adoptions for the following:
- Denotes someone who had been adopted
**** denotes a user who did not receive a badge, but also did not turn one in. they cannot be adopted until their own work is completed.

-Sign ups are open 7-10 days (Sometimes less if I forget oops). If you are participating in the previous round, DO NOT sign up unless you have turned in for the previous round.
- If you owe art/are blacklisted on Weasyl do not sign up, the blacklist extends here and there!!!
-You will receive a note when sign-ups close on who you are to draw.
-DO NOT sign up if you will not be able to complete a badge by the deadline of ~one month.
-Humans are allowed but please give a second option including a furry character as not everyone is comfortable with humans.
-If you have complicated/monster characters they are also welcome but it is recommended you give a secondary character as well since this community does allow beginner, harder creatures can be a little out of their level.

Posted 7 years agoHOPEFULLY Sunday. I got Pneumonia and a sinus infection and couldn't get them done today. I'm being optimistic for Sunday as hopefully another day of rest and antibiotics will have me able to function.
I gotta be back to work on Tuesday as my doctor only has me excused until then unless I go downhill.

Posted 8 years agoI ended up having to work extra hours and it's already the 10th of the month. I decided it's best to cancel the December round, December sign-ups will now be January's sign-ups.
I will however be getting the blacklist and adoptions done tomorrow.
I apologize for anyone who may be disappointed but with how busy most of us get during the holidays I don't want to set anyone up for failure by having a super short round this month.

I know I can be slow to get rounds going sometimes and sometimes gotta combine them into 2 months but this exchange makes me happy, this community makes me happy. How happy people are just to give and get a conbadge regardless of the skill level of the artist makes me happy. It's rare to see all skill levels just make something for a random person and appreciate the hard work someone else did for them...
