Ok ok, It's not so much that I am poor and selling my body on the street but I did spend a lot this month on junk.

Someone found me the Kid Icarus amiibo so he got me that.
I got a great badge from Templa for EF.
I got a Vaporeon mascotte and Mega charizard figurine Y and Magikarp Pikachu form Japan.
Then I went to see Jurassic World. I loved it a bunch and almost bought the toys but seeing video's on youube that the Hasbro toys are crap I got 2 Lego sets of Jurassic World and this is like the forst time I bought Lego since before puberty but it was so much fun.
Today a store made a mistake with promotion and giving away a mini dino Lego set with Jurassic World Lego instead of the game and another free polybag of Lego. So that got me to buy the smallest of the YW lego sets: the pteradon and helicopter. But I also wanted the Indominus Rex Lego set and looked online and this 1 store had it 20 euro's cheaper then other sites. But In the time that I found the set and 3 hours later there were suddenly only 2 sets left so I got it now. Also, Lego minifigure blindbags. I am a sucker for blind boxes and blind bags since I was a kid so got a few of these.
I also got the Big Hero 6 blu ray that will come out in 5 days finally.
Also got a Hufflepuff tshirt.
Also bought stuff for 2 people but getting the money for that back so that is okay and my preveious phone company is owing me money so they better pay it back.

So much stuff bought 0_0
So, from now on till atleast EF: no tshirts. No more Lego or other stuff. No more blu rays. No more commissions.
I am only allowed to get the amiibo's I have in pre order.
And at EF no more Artshow bidding (don't you dare put anything in there, Silverfox!) or stuff in dealers den. Though i can't imagine me buying more stuff then a button anyway...

during the helicopter flight we see the waterfall from the first movie.
Mr DNA gets a return in the movie.
The guy with the Jurassic Park shirt also has a book of Ian Malcom on his desk.
Not sure but in JW the kids take a car, nr 26 or 29. If its 29 it is the car in which Hammond drives when they arrive at the park.
Dr Wu is the same scientist from the first movie which the hatching raptor. This you should know.
In JW the kids enter the old visitors center. They use a bit of the banner When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth that falls down at the last T-rex scene of the first movie.
The kids in JW see a painting of a raptor. The same at which Lex saw a shadiw of a real raptor.
John Hammond got a statue in JW.
They use the same storage devices for dna as in the first movie from which Nedry steals.
They keep using goats to lure the T-rex
Dr Wu tells in JW that due to using dna of modern animalels the dinos look differend then they looked like milions of years ago. Is this the reason raptors are featherless?
In the original book the Carnotaurus has camouflage skills.

Yes or no?

Bored at work so typing this on my phone. Typo's incomming.

It was my first CFz after 2 EF's so some thing were a bit differend. Stuff like only 2 days of dealers den and art show. Also, British people, why do you all take of your fursuithead everywere? There were kids staying in that hotel.

I met some very nice people I knew from internet, but also realised that sometimes it doesnt click in real life. But that was just in 1 case for me.

We went to get sushi n Birminham with drgnalexia, silverfox and friends. Funny thing is that hirohusky understood the trains better then we Dutch people did.
Sushi was good but expensive.

I was a lazysaurus this con. Didn't film anything, hardly took pictures. One day I just gave my camera to Keenora and told him to have fun with it.
I only suited twice. On the first day if the con and for the parade (first!) And the photoshoot.
Ambrosius got invited to a roomparty for posh dressed suiters and sigars and brandy would be there. I didn't go because I dont want a suit stinking of smoke.
I did get into a roomparty on the last evening. I wanted to go to bed early but went to bed at one thirty.

Best evening was the evening I ended up in a pandapile with Vanilla, Duskpanda and the panda owned by Fibre. Alot of people didnt even see me in there at fist and about 8-9 people even came to take a picture. Later that evening I had a black dragon lying on my lap.

I got some great stuff. Miri made some cute Copper drawings, I won the plushie Silverfox gave away. I finally bought the mug I wanted at EF but was sold out.

I went to a panel about furries though data which was very interesting. The talentshow was half talent and half uh... not so much talent. The pawpetshow was the best I have seen so far.
The dance contest had a few really good people in there. It was eas yto predict who would win. Avalon was very good for someone who only started half a year. Can't wait to see how he will be next year.

Ok, break is over, back to work

Dus ja, ik zei op twitter dat ik niet doe aan die 2 minuten stilte op 4 mei en vele mensen vinden me nu waarschijnlijk een koelbloedige klootzak. Maar lees erven door en als je me daarna nog altijd een klootzak vind, ok.

Dit is mijn visie en ik ga dingen zeggen die niet voor iedereen gelden. ik spreek je dus niet persoonlijk aan.

Waarom doe ik er niet aan?
Ik vind het idee van "3, 2, 1 en nu ALLEMAAL denken aan slachtoffers van de tweede wereldoorlog" onzin.
Je kan niet spontaan in die 2 minuten gevoelens opwekken uit het niets, ik tenminste niet. Zo zit je in een videogame te vechten tegen dark elves en ineens moeten mijn hersenen de omslag maken naar "oh wat erg" Mijn hersenen blijven dan gewoon doorgaan met die game en ik vermoed dat de meeste mensen ook niet die spontane omslag kunnen/willen maken en in die twee minuten zitten te denken wat ze bevrijdingsdag gaan doen of wat Ludo straks weer uit gaat vreten in GTST.
Natuurlijk zijn er mensen die het hebben meegemaakt en dierbaren hebben verloren en die kunnen wel hun herinneringen ophalen. Zij verdienen hun dag om te herdenken en daar heb ik alle respect voor.

Geef ik er dan niets om? Fout!
Ik hou ervan om mijn stad te zien zoals het vroeger was. Ik heb foto's gekocht van Mddelburg van net na het bombardement in het Zeeuws Archief bijv. je ziet dan verslagen mensen bij resten van hun huizen.
Als ik een verhaal tegenkom over hoe het hier in de tweede oorlog aan toe ging (bijv de deportatie "parade" naar het treinstation toe) dan ben ik blij dat ik het niet meegemaakt heb. Hoe eng het voor mensen moest zijn geweest etc. Ik voel dan ook echt iets. Meer dan ik spontaan op kan roepen in die 2 minuten stilte.
Op mijn manier denk ik het hele jaar door na over wat er hier gebeurt is en dat heeft meer betekenis voor dan die verplichte stilte.

So, my first time to CFz and I am looking forward cause I have only been to EF so far.
I hope to see alot of people I have only talked to online. If you want to say hi, easiest way is to keep an eye out for my fursuit Ambrosius.

I will be flying to CFz and have early and late departure.

Just thoughts about friends. Don;t even know if I make any sence.

In 2000 I came into a group of friends who all are fans (with lack of a better word) of the Dutch themepark Efteling. There were years when I visited the park over 20 times in a year with them.
Though some people left and others joined, the core of the group stayed the same.

*the deal*
Last year I felt I was losing connection with some people in the group. This guy, who I would call best friend for years, I can hardly call a friend anymore.
In the last two visits to the Efteling we had hardly a thing to talk about and if we did it was about times we went to Japan or America together. We could not talk about daily life anymore and I felt he had lost any interest in my life.
I even left early on two visits so he could not ask me to bring him to the trainstation. I really felt that these days he hardly said a thing to me until he needed that ride again.
I once left with someone without saying a thing to the rest. There wasn't even a reaction after that to ask where I've gone too. Like they didn't even noticed I was gone. I also left the groupchat on twitter one evening and not a single reaction from the rest.

Thinking back, I was losing interest in the park itself for a while now but kept it to myself and since I am not that vocal in groups I am sure they did not notice. But spending a day with people who can talk about a little new sign for over an hour or go on a single ride three times in a row becasue there was a new bottle in one scene didn't help much either. Driving home after such a day made me feel more empty.

To make things clear, I am not doing these things to get attention but I kinda see it as a test to how much I really am part of the group these days. I did not scream "I'm leaving the fandom!!!!". I told a person 2 months later when he asked when I was planning to go to the Efteling again.

In october there was an event for passholders and I learned from a photo on facebook that the rest of the group went to it. I wasn't asked.

In all fairness, I was invited by one to go to the Efteling in december with a movie after which I declined due to work.

So since September I chatted with 2 people from that group on skype, not a word from the other 6people.

I found new friends in the furrie world and I am not lonely or depressed in any way. It's just a realisation that I've grown apart from people I've known for 14 years.

Are there people who play this game?
I feel like I know noone else who plays it :)

So I am really realy thinking about going to CFz next year for the first time.

As I don;t want to drive there myself I am thinking of going by plain but since thye make you pay per suitcase (what's that all about anyway?) I wonder how to take a fursuit with me that way.

Long time since I have done one of these.

So what to expect from me this summer:

First, Silverfox is going to work on a commission for me featuring one of my favorite Disney attractions. I can't wait as I have tried to get a spot a number of times.

Second, I live in the Netherlands, in one of the 12 regions called Zeeland. To my knowledge there has never been a furwalk in this part of the country. So, in about four weeks, the first furwalk everrrrrr will take place here and I will be sure to make some pictures for you followers.

Last but certainy not least: Eurofurence is in six weeks! I will try to capture as many suiters on film and photo while having the time of my life. BUT...I will also have my fursuit then (well, that's the planning). And no, it won't be a dino but a victorian fox called Ambrosius Gearsworth.

Last sunday I was working on my EF badge and the computer froze. It would not restart until half an hour later and froze again within minutes. The next day same story. On tuesday the local computer fixing shop was finally open but they did not have time till thursday. Thursday they needed a part that would arrive friday. Friday it turned out that part was not glitching so hopefully saterday he finds out what is wrong with it, fixes it and I can get my pc again.

So, the company who's suits I really loves think it's unwise for them to make a parasaurolophus suit.
Actually, I was very uncertain myself, if it would even work and look nice without the horn being to long and hitting things around me.
So I had a backup plan in my head which is actually older then Copper Saurus (which will stay my fursona).
With some help from someone I/we came up with a look that should stand out a bit from the others. He also has a name I really like. It will be a partial but won't be wearing a simple shirt and jeans.

Its that day of the year when I turn a year older. I allways hated my birthday when I became above 18 but for some reason I do not mind it one bit this year. Odd really.

I am in London for a week but where are all the furries? Yesterday I saw some lolita's and it seems a thing here to wear panda hats but that is all. I did buy myself a plush Sparky from Frankenweenie and a trip to forbidden planet has been plant and tomorrow some Harry Potter tour, yay. I will post some pics when I return of anyone is interested
