Soooo... I haven't been very active for a bit.
As previously discussed, I got my bottom surgery on 02/09. I've been healing pretty awesomely from that, and looking forwards to scaling up my dilator for more depth and so on. Also: New job, new things there, and then, out of nowhere...
I got hit by a car, 14/10.
As a preamble, I live in Australia, everyone drives on the left hand side, keep that in mind.
I was at a pedestrian crossing, obeyed all the rules, looked left; no traffic, great, looked right; traffic, right, will wait; waited for traffic on the right to stop, waved when right hand traffic stopped. Walked to the middle of the crossing... Felt movement from the left. Think I saw a car bonnet rushing up to meet me.
Woke up 30 seconds later in utter agony.
I have a L4 burst fracture, a S1 (sacrum) fracture, a sternum fracture. I had a minor concussion (very distressing, I couldn't remember my husband's phone number while people were attempting to help me,) and my cheek and left temple have/had a huge swollen bruise. OH and the impact created a tear just below my a vaginal canal on my perineum.
I am very fortunate - I have feeling and mobility. I can walk. I have to wear a back brace for at least 3 months.

So yeah. That's where I'm at. I'm not asking for donations or anything, I'm covered by insurance and so forth. I just thought to advise.

General | Posted 3 months agoI am currently sitting at my computer desk, which is a huge achievement since surgery. Catheter and packing removed, and just recently did my first ever dilation. I am pretty exhausted at the moment, but feeling good about everything.
If you're wondering - it's such a relief, I can look down and I'm not recoiling anymore, I am actively excited to invest in my body and lifestyle. It's night and day. There were some struggles, but I am happy to be home and clear.

General | Posted 4 months agoAs of August 18/19, I'll be getting bottom surgery.
I'm getting Penile inversion vaginoplasty, using a French method that creates more depth and uses more scrotal tissue in graft for a better width. No peritoneal pull through, but if there's issues (1 in 1000ish odds) I'll be able to utilise a peritoneal graft onto existing structures to extend.
Finally. I'm obviously incredibly excited and nervous.
Considering if I should make like a telegram space to keep people informed and show aftercare/results/maintenance.
Thoughts?

In November, I managed to secure a full time job working for a production studio as an animator. This is essentially my dream job. The hours are long, but the pay is good.
Unfortunately, it leaves me so exhausted, mentally and physically, that I haven't really touched my commissions since then. Everytime I do, I make them worse. If you've met me, you know what a ridiculous perfectionist I can be, so the stress has left me avoidant of the work - a sure sign of burnout that I'd been attempting to ignore since September.
So I'm closing commissions indefinitely. I will be completing those commissions I have yet to complete, at no extra cost to the commissioners - if you paid half up front, you don't have to pay me the other half, as an apology for work not done to schedule.
Please be patient with me - I will complete your commissions. I just need time to get my shit sorted and my head in order.

- I'm more than happy to work on fetish art. I have a few caveats, but I will advise on those.
- I will provide updates on progress on your commission as I work on them.
- Commission completion time varies depending on complexity and workload.
- Painted and Full Render commissions are half upfront, final amount on completion, keeping me honest.
- In some cases, I will undertake commissions as payment upon completion, but I will retain the final art and files until I've been paid.
- I provide a web ready version, a print ready version, and the original full size commission.
- I am open to negotiation on price, but please be reasonable, I have to eat, too!
- I will do my best to keep my commissions open, but I am only one person.
- I don't do reservations for future commission slots.

Point of order:
Whenever I undertake a commission, during the process I will enquire about the pronouns and descriptors that you feel comfortable using for your sona. Those are what I'll use when I set the keywords. Those are how I'll refer to your sona in the descriptions.

With that in mind, if I were to set up a regular streaming schedule, and really structure my commissions, YCHs, etc, would you be interested in it? What would you want to see?
Any constructive input is greatly appreciated - artists/writers who have set it up so, what steps should I take to properly set myself up for success?

Medication woes
General | Posted 4 years agoSeriously, the ups and downs of my medication and brain chemistry make life super hellish.
I'm getting back on the horse soon though - hell, I might even have a regularly scheduled twitch/picarto stream soon. I'm determined to figure out how to make this all work for me.
But sometimes I wish I was just neurotypical and could function without taking controlled substances and having to deal with the accompanying side effects.
