After my last post, I'd already been having troubles with my computer (from a little after last January I had a few disastrous crashes but each time I recovered) only to finally have my machine give up the ghost late last spring.

I had fully intended to return quickly and buy a new machine, but it ended up being way more expensive than I expected for one that was better than my old seven year old tower and I wasn't able to save money until after the holidays of last year.

The whole situation stressed me out intensely, as I didn't know when I'd ever get back online properly and it killed a lot of my desire to do casual chatting with people from here as it just reminded me of how I couldn't do art or other things.

I'm sorry I vanished. I took a new job at the end of October and it was hard and time consuming.

"Oh, it'll get quieter in the new year" I thought, but that never happened. It looks like it will maintain being MUCH more busy than my old work. I've even lost weight from it. I'll be popping on here again when I can, but art will be a sometimes thing for the forseeable future.

Sorry my submissions have dropped off, I've got a few things going on that have caused that to happen.

● I've been looking into, and now hired into a new job, which starts in a couple weeks. This involved interviews and training on top of my current job
●I'm sort of stuck on an image I owe a friend and don't feel right doing causal art before it's done .
●Beyond that, I'm a week out or so on a major project I'm designing a Kickstarter for.

I hope to get back to the kitty butts soon for everyone's sake!

...oh, and I have a wedding to attend this weekend... :|

Five days left in September on my colour sale! I won't be having a sale on colour commissions again this year, so now is the time to snag one!

As you have probably seen I'm sort of a commissioning machine. BUT I have about $300 in expenses coming up by the end of September, so with that note, I'm going to offer, from the 1st to the 30th, any flat, cel shading or full colour commission at 15% off my usual prices.

Hey felines and not-so-felines, I really want to stream my art when I'm doing it, but I don't really know much about stream sites (I've used Bandicam to pre-record things before, but never anything live).

What sites are best for streaming. If you're an artist and have done this, let me know your experiences! Thanks!

EDIT: Registry cleaning by hand and reinstalling the drivers did it! Oh computers..
Everything is fine now!

My tablet has stopped working correctly as of today. It's brand new, and was fine up until this morning, but now the Wacom Desktop Centre doesn't even register it as existing to allow me to, you know, do things like pressure sensitivity or use the side buttons. So I have a glorified mouse. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but it's still not working. All I can do is hope Wacom support can help me otherwise I'm looking at a $400 paperweight and I won't be able to do my art with it.

Commissions are on hold until I get this fixed and I'll refund any money I got if it doesn't...
